First time renting a car transporter, he made it really easy and hooked it up to my truck for me. Then when he realized my car required a 6 pin plug instead of a 4-pin that the trailer required, he had the adapter in stock and hooked it all up! I was able to return the trailer a day early, after hours easily. The trailer was so easy to use, everything worked so perfectly, debating just to continue to rent in the future instead of buying our own!

Scott RyggMore trucks available for one way. Asked for a 26ft truck about a week in advance and was called the day before move day and they could only provide a 20ft. (When I say they I mean Uhaul) has nothing to do with the facility. I feel like I shouldn’t have been able to reserve a truck if they already knew I couldn’t have it… so that was extremely disappointing.. The Uhaul location was great. Friendly. And made the transaction painless.

curt davisEverything was great until my storage unit was broken into. I got the unit for a family member who was suddenly moving to this area unexpectedly and was very happy to find that Astoria Storage was the only place around that had unit’s available. If you rent an outside unit …. it’s fair game for anyone to break in as there are no cameras or fencing to prevent anyone from coming in or out.Someone was able to cut the lock on my storage ….. go inside … shut the door back down and have all night to open and go through every box in my storage. The place is clean… the people are nice …. the price for the storage was normal …… the problem is ….. your belongings are not safe. Good Luck !!!

The app is confusing and has glitches; better to work with these humans in person.

James KembleTom was extremely kind and helpful. He helped me switch vehicles from the one I reserved to one that better suited my needs. He asked about all my packing needs, I declined, but it was kind. He walked me to the truck, and waited while I verified the licence plate in the text I received. He was patient while I checked the gas level and helped me see where it showed on the paperwork he had given me. Wonderful personal service!!! The only thing I can say, is that the passenger seats weren't completely clean. There was dried mud on them, but the rest was clean. Thanks to Tom for making this easy!

Mary Paige RoseNo "after hours" pickups, most recent rental had 2 problems. (No right rear turn signal/brake light and TPMS fault.) Terrible mobile signal at site, and no clear markings of a usable wifi network. Only u-haul retailer in 15 mile radius, so few other options - better off going to Gearhart unless, they don't have what you need. Staff is friendly to "most" people.

chere collierNo issues with drop off using the online return. Key return box is clearly visible on premise. Quick and easy. Kind of run down location hence 3 stars, but felt safe and the parking area was large and easy to drive into even with a large 26’ truck.

kelly van de heyAside from the painfully slow checkout process at their office, Uhaul was unable to provide the vehicle that I had reserved. The clerk checked my in at the office and after entering all of the required contact and payment information for the contract I was informed that the vehicle was not available for a one-way trip - only local trips - as I was being handed the key to the truck. Since no other similar sized trucks were available I chose a larger truck as a replacement. After selecting a smaller truck rental I was finally able to complete the data entry for the contract, again, and leave with the vehicle. I have never experienced such a degree of slowness and disorganization at a Uhaul facility I can understand difficulties in obtaining certain equipment at specific locations but once a reservation is placed I do expect Uhaul to provide the agreed upon product at the specified date and time. I am not eager to repeat business with Uhaul again if you cannot provide the services that I select when I place a reservation.

He lead us to believe we could return it anywhere with no penalty and had us returning in a location that was incorrect. I’m every so thankful for the woman who helped me on the phone while I was in Port Angeles trying to return the Uhaul.

Susan MillerLighting around the building is needed. Also please look at numbering the actual units. We could not find the unit when we first got it and had to be shown. Guy at that time said "we don't number them due to the tweekers". That made me very iffy on renting from you. I did and had the place almost a year. No issues with my unit. But heard others were broken into. This could easily be changed with better lighting and cameras around. Would also be nice if someone worked on Sundays so renting a U-Haul could be available. With the cost of the units this should be more then doable.

michael HarbesonNotice of 20% rent increase dated 1/27/22. My rent due on the 4th or 5th of each month. I had not yet received notice of increase on 2/5/22 when I had to drive down there to make a payment because your phone system did not work. Drove to facility to pay $75 rent, only to find out it was $90 per month. Bad business practices. Good riddance!

The young man was very helpful and available to run elevator and unlock doors Was sad to see all the rat urine and rat droppings in the unit when I moved stuff out but other then a few chew marks and it smelled , all in all my stuff was in tact . I hope someone put rat traps out tho others might not take it so lightly . Thank you
