Ashleys customer service was AMAZING! They were prompt and kind , they were willing to help and always answered the phone. Sadly my UHaul had a hole in the roof and my couch was ruined during our move. The RepWest customer service has been less than sub-par. In the course of dealing with them I have been on hold for a total of over 3 hours. Every time I call it's at least a 20 minute wait. I am hoping that this matter will be resolved quickly and easily, but so far the outlook is not good.

Ashley's Wheel & Brake Service is a great bunch of folks and in a super-convenient location. They are always very accommodating and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Ashley's for U-Haul rental, as well as for auto service.

You can let people know sooner where the pickup location will actually be. I went to the preferred location because I was not alerted of a change in location. The original place, located on new circle rd in Lexington, was horrible. Managers were rude and unhelpful. Will never use that location again. Ashley’s Wheel and Brake was great.

Dan at Ashley's Wheel & Brake Service was extremely helpful with my pick up and explained everything. Would highly recommend using this location.

The location was not the problem. U-hauls customer service was a nightmare. I have never had such a bad experience. I was on hold for over 30 minutes and then they kept routing me to different people. We went to pick up the truck at 8:15 and were not able to get the keys from the lock box until after 9. The whole day was set back.

There were cockroaches in the truck from the previous user and now I have an issue with them in my house. Although they refunded me $60, the exterminator cost me $160.

I cant think of anything to improve. This is the second time I have rented from this location and I have recommended them and have had others speak highly of past experiences.

I was given the wrong size car dolly and it messed up the underskirt bumper on the front of the car and it wouldn't fit on there. So now I have to pay for the damage to the car and I had to pay for my car to be put on a rollback and hauled to Lexington after I drove the car dolly 1 hour and a half it was all for nothing. I rented the car dolly for 24 hours and I had it back to the shop within 5 hours and I received no reimbursement at all. I would really like to hear back about this matter.

This is more for Uhaul as a company rather than the location I picked up from. First of all, the price was outrageous. If I didnt absolutely need to move my stuff, I would've waited and paid a high end moving company to do it to save time and money. Secondly, I believe I was given an in-town vehicle, as it didn't have cruise control and capped off at 75 mph. Some of the states I drove through had 80 mph speed limits - so you can imagine how frustrating it is to not even be able to keep up with traffic - especially on a 30 HOUR DRIVE! Another awesome thing was that I had to haggle back and forth with different entities over getting a military discount. Neither the agent on the phone nor the one at the location wanted to give the military rate and both pointed at each other as the responsible party. Then it was explained to me that I could have gotten a better rate if I had come to the location prior to contacting uhaul corporate to reserve a truck - which by the way was listed as the local uhaul dealership so I thought I had contacted the pickup location according to their listing. Uhaul needs to overhaul their customer service. This was absolutely one of the worst transactions I've ever had to deal with and I would by no means rent from them again unless it was the only option. I doubt anyone from uhaul will even reach out to me over this, but hopefully I can help someone make an informed decision.
