Spanaway had given us an extra day. We checked in and returned our equipment by 9:00 am. He still charged us almost $100 in extra day fees because he waited to check us in until after 10:00 kinda shady. I will be going in to show him our original contract.

The location and people are excellent. The fee for this truck rental is ridiculous. 19.99 is a total false advertisement. Plus, we discovered once we got to our storage unit, that the small truck had no ramp! WTF!!! Which meant we only could move a fraction of the items we needed to move based on our available time. Down stacking boxes then re-stacking twice took to long and is total bogus! We are going to Penske on monday, atleast the are upfront with their costs and have ramps on their moving trucks. I cant believe we wasted $64.00 today on a so called 19.99 rental with no ramp. Enjoy the last of our money you'll ever see from us. You should rename U-haul to RipHoffs! Also, I'm hitting our social media hard showing people what you get for $64.00 from Uhaul. I'll plug Penske with positive reviews. We should be done moving our stores inventory, now we have to do it on Monday. I would b ed ashamed if I ever mislead and sold such a load of junk for my customers hard earned money. Not that you give a single care or anything.

So because the vehicle I requested originally was not available the rental I ended up getting was half the size I originally reserved. I received a phone call shortly after 12:00 asking when I would have the truck back. I explained that because I received a truck much smaller than I reserved the job was taking me twice as long due to several trips. I told them I would have the truck back by 4pm. When I dropped the truck off I again explained my situation and apologized for having the truck brought back late. She said they were able to find another truck so it wasn’t a problem. This is really upsetting that they didn’t call to tell me that they found another truck, I rushed to get as much done knowing they needed the truck back. This ended up costing me several additional trips in my personal car. Overall experience with uhaul was terrible and will never be used again!

Things were tremendously slow and unorganized, and while the staffer was very nice it was just a painful process all around.

I have rented from many different U-Haul locations and have had over all relatively good experiences. This location is a hidden gem in Arlington. The process was easy, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the equipment was in good shape. I was in an hour in a few minutes to start my rental and just as quickly when I was done.
