This location is advertised as accepting 24 hour customer returns. I wish I was reminded of the online check-in accommodations. I dropped the rental during non-office hours and called the next day to check-in. No one answers the phone at this location, nor they return phone calls. I had to call the central helpdesk twice, email twice and chat with an agent before I received a confirmation letter that my rental return is acknowledged. It took 3 days

Had to pay the HST on my order that wasn't charge when I booked online. More locations to use a proper tie down strap inside would be helpful. The wooden rail is useless with proper cargo straps.

Pickup: Truck in lot at pickup time, but no key. Paid in full on-line but was charged an extra $25 bucks on pickup for some unexplained reason. Long delay "registering" what was supposed to be a contact-free, touchless pickup. Truck: Dog food all over cabin floor; cabin smelled like a Vegas casino -- yech; driver's side door smashed in and very difficult to close.

First, the staff were not at all friendly. Second, when I dropped off the vehicle, they originally told me I would have an extra charge. I challenged them based on my contract details and they said I was right and there would be no extra charge and they would take care of it in the system. After I left, they decided to charge me on the following day WITHOUT MY CONSENT . This meant I had to waste 30 minutes trying to get the charge reversed, I had to type this complaint and so on. Also, I was bit disappointed that I was charged for 4 km over my 194 km limit. This is despite the fact that that while we were driving from Toronto to Kingston, we were advised that our drop off location was changed to a location that was further from our unloading location. This means I am charged a fee because YOU decided change my contract without my consent (again). Not a lot of money, but a bit petty, particularly given the charge and change of location were unauthorized. I left the call with Victoria not knowing whether the $1.80 would be reversed. It should not have been an issue as I had already been inconvenienced. Overall, a negative experience from a customer service perspective. Will certainly avoid using U-Haul again if at all possible.

This will be my go to Uhaul location. Staff were great, very accommodating. Bad experience with Uhaul on Princess St. They wouldn't even answer my questions and forwarded me to the call Center, not cool. Midland is now my regular thank you.

Changed my rental pick up time without notice, which messed up our move times. Would have been nice to have more notice. Had to drop a majority of things off on the lawn of our new house in order to work around other previoualy scheduled meetings and appointments. For some reason I had another reservation that was made for 6 hours after I was to drop off our first rental. Fuel level was messed up, and given a credit for our rental to guesstimate the cost of fuel to get to 1/4 tank. Had approximately 1/8 of a tank when we recieved the truck. Not very happy.

So disappointed with how long it took to pick up my 5x8 trailer. This is the first time I have ever rented a uhaul and it was frustrating. I went at 3:55 (4pm pick up)to pick up my rental and I did not get out of place till 4:41. When I got there I guess their computer system crashed so I waited for them to reboot the whole system and then gave them all my information and their system would not work again. Another person took over and called uhaul support and I waited forever till someone answer and then gave all my information again so they could relay to person on other end of phone. The uhaul tech people on phone said that they could not do anything and for the person at Aqua bay to take all my information so I could get on my way. So for the 3rd time I had to give all my information. By the time I got out of there and then had to get my vehicle hooked up it's was 45 min. Totally Crazy!!! The people at the store were very nice but not a positive process at all. I feel I should get some of my money back. It put me behind and we were supper late to get on the road to st. Catherine's.

Found the truck did not match the images I was advised was of the truck in the "inspect the truck" stage. The truck had substantial damage to it, many marks, nicks, edging damaged... etc. Nothing that hurt operation but when you warn customers of liability for damages and then present a truck that's obviously been beaten to shit by students (University Town) its confusing. Your app didn't work for uploading any photos on my phone (S7), had to go through the website to do so. I did call in to extend my drop off time, your call center reps Martin and Francis were both excellent and very professional/friendly.

1. Have a fleet of diesel trucks! Diesel is cheaper than gas in Canada. 2. Clean you friggin vehicles! From a bug covered front end to pet fur and food crumbs in the cab!!! 3. Make an app that works! Both for 24/7 pick up and returns; a complete tip off to charge $20 “for the convenience of a staff member returning a vehicle. And finally 4. Have staff who are capable and polite. From Teenagers to adults at this location do not know how to speak to customers. UHaual is often a secondary income for a business; so because someone can sell pools and BBQ's doesnt mean they have the skills for rental.

Staff did not hook up the trailer like I've had at other locations. Had they done so they would have realized the cable to hook into the vehicle was faulty. I then had to wait in line again to get a new cable.

They literally stole money from my credit card by charging me gas of $26.06 even though I return the truck with more gas than it had before. When asked to talk to the manager, they said she is not available to talk to me at all and she will same thing anywhere. Chad- very professional with customer services skills tried to help but couldn't do anything without Management access. Got number to call and now have to wait with the hope of getting the stolen money back. Bad customer services, poor management and handling complaints procedures. Will never recommend this location to anyone. But if you do, watch out for your credit cards and always take gas and mileage picture upon return as your proof.

Not only was this not the location i booked for but the mobile pickup did not work. it gave me a false code. and when i went to the main uhaul location in kingston on princess, the boss/supervisor/manager with a large black beard was beyond rude. asked where “she even got that code” when he was shown the code to the uhaul. he was beyond unpleasant. and at this point we have driven across the city twice in attempt to pick up this uhaul for 10:30 and its 11:30... I was beyond delighted with the helpfulness of the staff at aqua marine though. They totally made up for the horrible experience. Oh and to mention your system made him input my information 3 times. Fix your system. Your employees shouldn't have to deal with backlash, im sure if i was any less patient i would've been much more hostile. I would 100% recommend the aqua marine location over that rude man at uhaul. But i will never be recommending uhaul after this BEYOND exhausting experience.

I would say this was mediocre, the people were nice but not service oriented. I rented a 6 x12 trailer. No jack on the trailer and they shrug when you ask what to do with no jack on a 5 day rental. . When you return they tell you to get the jack, disconnect, and bring the jack back. Don't expect any form of service. Otherwise the trailer was fine. I wish the dealer cared more on pick up and return. If I rent again I will ask to see if better service is available elsewhere.

I had to hook up my own 6x12 trailer without any knowledge or help on how to do it. No instruction provided, very rude salespeople. The chains were covered in thick grease and got all over my hands and I asked for a towel and was refused. I will never rent from uhaul again. This is after I went to three different stores because the trailer I reserved was not ready on time for my reservation.

The ratchets for the wheel straps on the car hauler were rusted and hard to move. One strap didn't loosen enough to remove my car so I needed tools to get the ratchet to release. The store was quite busy when I picked up the trailer so I needed to load the trailer onto my truck alone and wait to have someone inspect it before I could leave.

So many difficulties with the app. That was the frustrating part of the process. Over 40 minutes of trying to fix technical difficulties. Could have something to do with all the wires outside (hydro, telelphone, etc.) It made even the phone connection difficult.

Rented the 26' truck and auto trailer for a one way trip from Flesherton, ON to Brockville, ON. They said if I drop the truck/trailer off in Kingston, I can have it for 3 days and a lower price (approx. $100 lower). I dropped it off 5 days later, expecting to be charged for 2 additional days which would be no problem. They charge me for 5 EXTRA DAYS. I asked them to readjust the extra charges. No response from them after 3 days. Difficult to reach anyone at Uhaul. Simple math folks.

I called in advance to see if I could pick up the vehicle before the store opened and they assured me that I would be able to using the online pickup system. The system did not work and I was forced to wait around for over an hour to get the vehicle when the store finally opened the representative explained that the automated pickup system breaks down frequently. The vehicle windshield was also covered in a thick layer of ice and there was no snowbrush/scrapper in the vehicle, I asked the representative if they had anything to scrape the windows in the store and he told me that they didn't. This seems like a safety hazard.

I had issues with pick-up - it was long/tedious (I was on the lot 1.5 hours), and the customer service (over the phone) was not very supportive or knowledgeable on the pick-up process/location. As this is a self-serve lot I had to call the central uHaul line for support. The first call was to sort out the pick-up procedure on the phone (as I was told earlier it could only be done through the uHaul app, which I was unable to download since it was 'unavailable in my region'). Once I was directed to the appropriate place online to complete the pick-up check-in, I followed all the steps through until I got the code for the lock on the back of the truck. At that point, we put the code into the lock, but it wouldn't open. We double checked that we had the right truck (even tried the lock combination on the other trucks incase it was the wrong one), and then shifted the letters in the lock to make sure nothing was stuck. After about 5 minutes of trying to open the lock (2 people attempted), I had to call the uHaul service line again, and this time it took 45 minutes on the phone to sort everything out. Originally I was told they couldn't do anything since their system said the truck had already been taken off the lot (even though I didn't have the key, hadn't completed the online check-in, and there were still more steps to go through after getting the key). I was told there was nobody available locally to help (although the main uHaul office which is staffed is only 2km away from this lot). Eventually they were able to move my order to a different truck on the lot - by the time this happened and I was through the online protocol, I had been there for 1.5 hours! I had timed the pick-up of the truck to drop-off a load of household items that day at a place that closed late afternoon, and to have the truck for a move the next day (Saturday). By the time all was said and done, I could not get to the drop-off location before closing, and they were not open again until Monday. I explained this to the representative on the phone, that this was a huge inconvenience, and I was told they could not extend my rental, they would not allow me to pick-up another truck again for 1.5/2 hours on Monday to do my drop-off, and they could not adjust the rental rate as it was already confirmed in the system. The most they were willing to do was reduce my next rental rate from $29.99 to $19.99 (plus fees) and mileage from $0.69 to $0.49 (given the overall trip mileage for this next rental would be 20km max, it would be a savings of $14 total - from $44 down to $30). This was my first time renting with uHaul (I have rented moving trucks from other companies in the past), and you can be assured when I do rent another truck to move my items, it will not be through uHaul with their less than generous $14 discount (for a trip I shouldn't have needed a separate rental to do). As a note, an hour after I finally had the truck off the lot, the lot manager called a

Worst experience rental ... was not ready, was filthy and service was poor... I had pre registered everything pre booked as well I would have thought the truck would have been swept out and clean it was not... the roof was covered in thick ice which is dangerous ... it had not snowed in over 5 days... will rent with another company if the princess street location does not have available truck... very disappointing.... had to wait an extra 45 minutes as well ( I had 4 people waiting for us) as the people in front of me were having problems as well

the snow was not clean around the van. It was hard getting out as the snow was piled right behind the wheels. There is no shovel available to clean the snow if necessary after hours. The "before" pictures did not load on my phone but you still have to click accept for mobile pickup. Also, "change engine oil soon" message was in place of mileage so I could not verify the original mileage (but still had to accept whatever number was online in order to rent the van). In spite of all those problems, it was very convenient to be able to pickup/drop off the van after hours. I hope some of the above problems can be fixed.

Said we had the uhaul for 11 days and we only had it for 7. Paid over double what we were originally told. Terrible service on the phones. Aqua Bay drop off (Pam) has been helpful. Disappointed in uhaul. Will never use again. Will never recommend and will be sure to tell anyone our negative experience with anyone who brings up Uhaul.

My only complaints are the distance that this location is from my home and that there was confusion between the time that I booked the truck and the opening time of the location. This was a booking problem with U-Haul central not a problem with Aqua Bay. Staff were very helpful and friendly and efficient.

When I first booked our moving trailer, I booked at the Princess St location as it opened at 7 am and I wanted to get an early start driving thru Toronto to my destination, west of Toronto on the busy labour day weekend. My reservation was confirmed for pick up at the Midland Ave location. However, I did not realize they didn't open til 9 am until the morning of pick up. Then, when I went to the Midland St location for pick up I waited half an hour (even though I had checked in online days before) as the credit card terminal wouldn't work, and the clerk had to reboot it to get it to work. He wasn't able to get it to work after 15 mins., with us and several other customers waiting patiently. When we made our way out to the trailer we had booked, the tail lights weren't working, and the employee had to try to reconfigure the wiring so that it would work. After another 15-20 mins of wiggling and fooling around with the wiring, my husband suggested that we take a different trailer. By now, we were close to an hour of waiting for our equipment, meaning we were 3 hours behind our original schedule, which was supposed to be 7 am! And, yes, traffic was an issue; we didn't arrive at our destination until 3:30 pm, making our moving day even more tiring and stressful. U-Haul needs to get it together, especially on one of the busiest moving weekends of the year!

I would recommend Aqua Bay for Pool and hot Tub, but avoid Uhaul, Their head office in TEXAS tries to run everything and they are TOTALLY incompetent! People that man the phones in Texas are Totally rude and unknowedgeable

i rented a 5' X 9' open trailer and was surprised that the dealer couldn't provide a 7in to 4 pin light connector to accommodate my car. They should be readily available for situations like mine. I had to go to another U Haul location to see if they had the light connector and thanks to this dealer i was able to rent the trailer. Also I was disappointed when the staff member indicated that the interact machine rarely worked, but insured me he could take my credit card. Having just returned from vacation I had enough charges and didn't want to add to my debt.

I originally made my reservation, well in advance, at this location due to the proximity to my home. When I went to pick up my rental unit, I was advised there was not one at the location and if I wanted one that was the same, I needed to drive a total of 1 hour out of my way, to another town (Napanee, Ontario). After being advised of this, the employee attempted to charge me additional money for the drop off to be in my same town (Kingston) or go an additional hour out of my way to return it to the Napanee location. In the end U-Haul override his attempt and although I still had to drive to another town, I was not charged additional money. U-Haul itself was great, this location fell down.

I have always been impressed with this location. They are polite, reasonable and helpful. The only comment I have is when putting a deposit down it was $100 cash or $150 debit. I don't understand why you differentiate between the two. Cash or debit is still cash! This is more a corporate thing than a location thing.

Dropped off when the site was closed. Easily accessed. However, it took u-Haul a week to find out the truck was there. For some reason, you thought I would take the truck to one place, and the trailer to another. When I dropped them off, they were still attached. You called me three times trying to find the truck.

Only one thing to check on, when we first picked up the trailer here in Kingston ON, the UHaul data base did not indicate where it could be returned in Petawawa ON. which was my sons destination. We tried Pembroke ON as well, same result. Fortunately my son knew the location of both and returned it Sunday to the site. Other than that there were no issues. Thank you for your assistance.
