Brad the Manager is an exceptional individual. This gave my experience at Anbar storage an A++ The entire experience renting our pride possessions was outstanding. Thank you to the Owner, Brad and the entire team at Anbar storage.

Very expensive. Took me 5 mins just to get through the reservation page because of all the add ons Uhaul was trying to sell me. Would not recommend to a friend. You can get a rental pickup truck from Hertz or Avis for a similar price, but you can have it for the whole day, with better insurance, and a little scratch that wasnt your fault isnt going to cost you $150! You also don't have to worry about the borderline scamming 89 cents per mile.

Terrible!!! I was blamed for damage to fence on return and charged me $130 fot repair and they noted it for cleaning, I was scammed And will never use uhaul again

The above comments are true, but the REAL question is the overall UHaul experience! It was HORRID. Try to plan a move, but you don't know if the truck you reserved will be available until 24 hours ahead of time! You have to be kidding me. Then that depends if the person that rented the truck turns it in on time! Then they want you to drive 80 miles to pick up the truck! NEVER AGAIN will I use UHaul!!! We ended up calling different locations and finding a trailer and renting a mini van at the airport to accomodate all of our belongs for the move! Like I said, never again!!!

trailer had poor tie-down locations....only a few rings at the bottom...everything above ground level was suitable for rope only. this definitely complicated making items secure.

Hugely disappointed in the fact that I reserved the truck a month ahead at a local location and the day before pick up I received a call the truck was NOT available on that day and that it would be available the following day in another county - WTF kind of service is that? I'm a single woman who made arrangements for friends to help at a specific date and time because we all have lives and our time is valuable. Your company delayed me 24 hours which then had a domino effect as I had to reschedule friends and the walk thru of the new place and services for hook ups where I had to be on sight. I would NEVER recommend U-Haul

Honor the confirmed location and time. I was told Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz did NOT have a van after reservation and CONFIRMATION some weeks earlier. Freedom, CA, (where is that?? I ask myself) had vehicle at a later time. U-haul: Bad company, bad handling of BASIC customer care. I will share this bad experience with everyone I speak to.

Have More Trailers

I was in San Jose, CA and reserved a trailer at your Campbell location. You changed it to Belmont which was 1.5 hours away with traffic. I had to cancel and rebook at your Freedom location (1 hour away). Your inability to honor my requested pick up location was unacceptable. What if I decided to drop it off in a different location than agreed? I'm certain I would have been charged an extra fee.

When I went to drop off after hours, the app was quite helpful, even showing me a picture of what the drop off box should look like, a bright orange box. In reality, it was a green box, tall and slim, right up against the edge and attached to the green gate. It looked simply like a part of the gate. Myself and another person walked around the complex a couple times looking for this box, before it was found. I would suggest at the very least painting it orange, and at the most make it stand alone so it stands out a bit.

Always great service at Anbar Storage. One stop shopping with Storage , Boxes and Moving supplies and Uhaul.

Twice now I've had trouble putting gas in the van. Something causes the pump to think the tank is full, even when it's almost empty. I tried multiple stations/pumps, and the U-Haul rep told me to not worry about it and bring the van back empty. Other than that, no stress at all. The van ran perfectly the whole time and wow they can carry a lot!

The online check in process needs work. There was no point in submitting my info online because I just had to resubmit the info with the clerk. The clerk was helpful and the process was fairly smooth. The vehicle was in good working order.
