I was sent confirmation the day I made the reservation on line for a specific location. Two days later I get an email telling me a different pick up location that was 20 miles away. When I went to pick up, the truck had so many bugs on the windshield that I hardly could see. The sweet girl trying to register my pick up, after I did it all on line, had no idea what she was doing and she was tryin to wait on customers. In the end, I was charged for 6 miles over my contract mileage. NEVER AGAIN

Extremely nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable in the U-Haul rental equipment.

The cargo area had to be cleaned by us before we could use the truck. The location we used moved our reservation without telling us, which added 12 miles to the rental and caused us to pay an additional $12 dollars, and wasting an hour of our day. I tried to call customer service and was transferred twice before being put on eternal hold. I hung up after 30 minutes because we still had a move to do. I wish I could rate this experience as zero stars.

Better signage in the front indicating location name. Gas station is not an Amoco. Otherwise easy to deal with. Thanks

We saved some money returning the trailer Jasper instead of Ellijay. It's convenience store with handles U-Haul on the side, but the service in making our return was as good or better than most full-time U-Haul storefronts. We also like this store is open seven days a week.

The drop off spot was easy and fast. The pickup took awhile but in the young man’s defense he was the only clerk in a very busy convenience store. I would use them again .

I completed all paperwork and payment online, yet when I arrived to pick it up, I had to provide lots of information again. It would seem practical to establish a digital link that the site could access to make it quicker. thanks

Jim at Amaco was awesome. Just fantastic. Bent over backwards to help us. We want to acknowledge the Area Field Manager, Chris Jones, who made a three 26 foot truck move possible on an extremely busy weekend. *****

It took me almost 40 minutes to pick up the truck. The employee didn't know what she was doing, the computer wasn't working. The truck had an old cup in it and cup holders were dirty. I reserved a refrigerator hand truck which they did not have.

Evaluate whether this location should be utilized as a UHaul rental facility. The cashier did not know how to process a UHaul reservation rental. It took almost an hour of standing there and waiting while she checked out other customers. I was with three movers who were charging $85 an hour - waiting. Finally the owner showed up and processed the reservation within minutes. It was needlessly frustrating and the young woman behind the counter has apparently had the same problems over and over again.

She was conducting unprofessional conversations and pushed me aside to assist other customers. She did not understand check-in procedures or U-Haul systems. After waiting 1&1/2 hrs I was told to leave truck, and she would check-in at her convenience. I did not leave until she signed contract w/date & time I returned truck per contract, full gas & all blankets.

Was told by cashier at grocery store/uhaul drop off that we needed to separate tow dolly from truck because "we don't do that here." Could not get items checked in because cashier didn't know how to work the system. Ended up paying cash for mileage overage because we had stood there more than 30 minutes waiting on cashier to check out 2 dozen people buying beer, Skoal and gas.

My understanding has been that rental was for 24 hours. I rented a 6x12 trailer at 12:00 pm with an estimated cost of $40 +. I returned the trailer 9 hours later and was told the charge would be $80+. because It was due back at 7pm. Sure enough the renting clerk entered 7pm as a return time. Not a good way to do business. $80 for 9 hour trailer rental? Really? After some hell raising the return clerk did correct it.

The team seemed very disorganized / untrained. Once I got home, I realized I was not provided the appliance dolly or furniture mats as charged / requested. I refused to go back to that location.

I rented a car trailer. Both of the web tie-downs that go over the front wheels of the car were missing the strap that goes into the tightening ratchet. Also, the lights need to be checked. I plugged into the factory-installed light connector of my Ford F150 , and the left brake and signal lights of the trailer did not work. I don't know if the problem was with my connector or with the trailer. Overall the trailer worked fine and enabled me to pick up my stranded car. I just thought you might want to know the trailer needs to be serviced.

This was by far the worst experience with Uhaul that I have ever had. I reserved a truck in Canton then told that I wasn't going to get the truck size I wanted and had to go to Woodstock to get a bigger truck. I told the dispatcher that I couldn't do that so she finds me the truck size I wanted in Jasper. I went to pick up in Jasper and tried to check in from my phone. All went fine (and my card was charged $81) until I went to get the keys from the people at the front desk who told me my truck (which I had already found) wasn't on their lot and wasn't in their system and I couldn't get the keys. I cancelled my online check in and called the company. I was then able to get the keys to my truck but they charged my card another $71 and added truck insurance that I specifically said that I didn't want. When I go to check the truck back in at the same place in Jasper, they tell me that I have to take the truck back to Canton. I called the company AGAIN and they told me that I could check in the truck at the location in Jasper. Once check in was done, the girl behind the counter told me that the total cost would only be $45 and my card would be credited what I overpaid. Instead of my card being credited, I was charged ANOTHER $45 without my authorization. So now there is a nearly a $200 charge on my card. They changed my original deal, check in/check out locations, and overcharged me. This is the LAST TIME I will ever use Uhaul.

Long wait to pick up equipment. About 30 mins just to get paperwork signed. And I wasn't notified of change in pick up location until 30 mins before pickup. With a 25 mile difference in locations. This added over an hour to my move time. Especially since the rental place wasn't even ready when I got there and had to call customer support or someone to figure out how to get me the rental.

Needed a truck for about 45 minutes to travel a total of roughly 15 miles round trip (ended up being 19 miles). I got the smallest truck they had and it ended up costing $54. I wish U-haul had a "rent by the hour" option or something so it was a little more affordable. 99 cents a mile is crazy. At that rate, driving from Georgia to Seattle would be roughly $3,500 in mileage alone!
