Untrained staff, it took me over an hour to get my rental, staff was also in charge of the cash register at the store and would pause my registration to help othercustomers, also was not very knowledgeable about how to handle the rentals, I will be going to another location and would not be coming back ro this one.

One employee handling cashier, printing lottery tickets, preparing food items, selling stuff, and renting trucks! Totally overwhelmed!!! IT skills poor. Took us over an hour and then she gave us wrong trailer number and we had to go back to store to get correct number.

This is a gas station yet the vehicle only had a 1/4 tank of gas in it. Also, the top of the vehicle leaked water and the cab smelled of cigarette smoke.

I had a reservation to pick up at one location. When I arrived they did not have my reservation. The nice gentleman called around and got me a 10 foot truck instead of a van. When I arrived at the other location I was told that my original reservation was with him.. I never received anythnig notifying me ot the change of address.

The U-Haul was not well maintained it was dirty, got to storage U-Haul wouldn't start sat there 30 minutes called U-Haul pick up location reported to clerk she states she was gonna call someone and told me to stay by phone someomeone was gonna call by for location NEVER got a call no one came finally got After hour U-Haul started!!! Every time to truck in gear it wouldn't move it skipped gears! It sounded horrible like a ticking time bomb! Like if the oil was bad clerk was too busy both times trying to do too many things at once also got over charged! She got me a estimate for a 30 miles quote didn't use but 18 and had to pay the same as quote go figure that out! Horrible experience and had never had none of that happened before whever I had to rent a U-Haul from a different location will never go therAGAIN for a U-Haul renter only positive thing about it they was open a Sunday for me too rent everything else a BIG thumbs down was not a happy cistmer

The manager was rude, gave me a problem about everything. I had asked for help with putting the trailer on, was rude about helping me. And then didn't even install it all the way. And the drop off location the man that helped me asked me why it isn't on all the way. I traveled nearly 500 miles with a trailer that isn't on all the way.

When I went to pick it up, my reservation on their tablet didn't match the confirmation email I had received. When I asked why, the woman acted like she didn't care and said ‘well we can't do anything about that, you need to contact uhaul yourself and find out what's wrong.' Then after I canceled the reservation and again reserved the same one, it was correct. Next problem: after arriving at the apartment we were moving from, I opened the door and there was a large hole in the roof of the truck. Upon further investigation, I found that the whole driver side roof had a very deep gouge all the way from the front to the back. I immediately called the Amoco station and told the lady about it. She said she would notify whoever was in charge. I had to put duct tape over the hole to keep the rain out but it still got in and damaged a few of my items. Lastly, when I carried the truck back, the same woman who was not helpful the first time was there. I told her about the hole as well and she claimed she knew nothing about it and was insinuating I caused it. I tried to show her what I was talking about but she really didn't care. Overall I was VERY displeased with the entire location and the rental process at this location. If there had been another location with the same size truck, I would have definitely went there.

Not familiar with equipment. Unable to unhook trailer. A customer assisted with removing trailer. Tamara called me regarding the truck left on the parking lot. She called me yelling, rude and extremely disrespectful. No employee should feel comfortable with calling a customer screaming and yelling. After her rant, she disconnected call. I am waiting for the regional district manager to call.

Though I reserved online for remote checkin, the app kept timing me out, and I had to checkin inside the convenience store. I reserved a dolly, but this location doesn't have one. I was charged for one anyway and told I would have to call a # for a refund. The check engine and low tire pressure lights were on in the truck, as well as a message to check some sort of stabilizer. The Amoco clerk indicated that "the UHaul man" was already aware of these issues. There was also broken glass in the cargo area. Altogether, an unacceptable experience.

Tongues of trailers are pretty heavy with no tongue jack. The 12x6 was tough for me to lift up(I'll be 64 this month and had neck surgery in November) I went by my house and got my floor jack to jack it up and take off my hitch...otherwise no problem.

I rented a trailer...6x12...I had to lift thevtrsioer myself to attach to hitch on car...did nit have the support that trailers have to lift and lower...and there was no help at all...you sent an email about inspection and there was no one there to inspect...I was afraid the whole time since i was not sure i attach the trailer correctly....you need to do better...some wiman have no men in their lives...my back is still in pain from lifting the trailer to be able to attach an unattached

Two complaints: 1. Arrived to find no blankets I had reserved 2. When reserving the site asks for an estimated time you need the vehicle. It also says that you are renting for one day. I was not pleased to find out that I was being held to the estimated time I put and would have to pay triple my daily rate extra if I needed to keep the vehicle 8 hrs instead of the 6 I had estimated! Wording needs changing on the website!

I got in the truck and there was only a half tank of gas. I had already started driving by this time so I didn't go back. I ended up driving 14 miles and had to fill the tank to avoid a charge.

We went to the location because we needed questions answered and uncertainties cleared up. When I asked who I needed to speak with regarding a U-Haul, I was told to go online. I went online, rented to truck, but my questions were not addressed, One of my questions was related to the amount of time we had with the truck. We were under the impression that we could only keep the truck for 6 hrs so we only asked for the truck until 530 pm. This was an hour later than the 6 hrs, but were not told we could keep the truck until we were done for the day. When I called to inquire about returning the truck later, we were charged another day's rent. We had no choice but to pay it. We had no clue how long we were going to need the truck and while I did repeatedly ask about late fees or what would happen if we needed to keep the truck longer, I did not get a clear answer until we were told we would be better off renting it for another day. I wound up paying for 2 days use when I used that truck less than 24 hrs.

This Amoco store is extremely busy. It is convenient as it is close to where I live. You have to always wait to speak with the person behind the counter to pick-up your rental. The folks behind the counter are NOT well versed in U-haul procedures for picking up equipment. There is never any assistance with hooking up or taking photographs of the equipment. I always take photos myself in the event there is any problems.

Overall the experience was fine. The price of the use of the equipment is well above what it should be. The price for mileage is double the price to actually rent the vehicle itself. It's unfair to the customer and the price of mileage should be lowered significantly.
