I would recommend this pickup location but I would also advise them to check the lights themselves and not rely on the yard help. Before I left the location I asked a uhaul representative to check the lights and I was told they worked properly. I took the trailer and loaded it for my trip. I checked the lights again and found them not working properly. I returned to the rental location and the pigtail connector was found with old damage. Again I strongly suggest anyone who rents here to personally check the lights yourself

truck windows were filthy and now they are trying to charge me for 5.5 gallons of gas when I drove the truck 15 miles and stopped and put $5.00 in it before it was returned. They are either dishonest or someone stole gas out of the truck. If I used the gas I would gladly pay for it but I refuse to be ripped off.

I am being charged erroneously for e tea miles when I was told I would be given extra miles due to the route I had to take through the mountains. This is very poor customer service.

This is not the rental location's fault - this is UHaul's fault. I was sent an email saying I was guaranteed a 15' moving truck, and I was given a tiny 10' truck without a ramp. This made the move much more challenging than it would have been otherwise. Again, this is not the fault of the location - they rented me the only truck that had been made available to them by UHaul.

This location is not the problem, I wouldn't recommend Uhaul as is, we moved across the state, we chose Uhaul because it ofers 3 days , but it ends up being a disadvantage instead, because your stuck with a truck full I'd your stuff not able to park it anywhere including Uhaul itsself, that is a bad business practice, you are considered professionals here, we are the amateurs soliciting your services because we trust you as a business, and that totally breaks the trust, we felt deceived by Uhaul and I want to emphasize, the problem is not the location in Durango, our problem is with Uhaul the business.

tires were a little sketchy.but the unit was clean and fine.The access is a little tough and to turn around harder.the staff was friendly and helpful,when I had a light problem the mechanic checked it out.I just smacked on the tali lights a day later and they lit up.The one was disconnected.i connected it

I tried to call them all day to set up the drop off and wasn't able to get through to them so I just took the trailer up there and dropped it off. I will not go back to this location.

The location was great and the folks there were very helpful, but the truck's windshield wipers needed replacement and as I was driving through the wet snowfall they continued to deteriorate with each pass on the window. Very difficult to drive in that situation.

Uhaul was amazing! They were very helpful!

They are up a hill...it had snowed...they had plowed it but it was very icy and slippery. Trucks are lined up (facing downhill) on that road up to their office...and to get the truck out had to drive over the bump of plowed snow. Also they had not clean the snow off the truck before we picked it up. About 6-8 inches on top and on the front window and hood. The Lady that helped me in the office was very nice.

I am a long time resident of Durango moving away.. This is your weakest agent in Durango. The tires were nearly bald, one a chunk out of it and the floor boards were covered in mud. Both Four Corners River Sport and your Bayfiel location are far superior. As to the tires I was told that that was the best they had. Now when I walked around the yard later I saw this was not the case. This agent just wanted to push this unit down the road on a one-way if you ask me. Had there been snow or rain i would not have been able to drive the unit safely.

Didn’t like that because the outlet was owned by a Phoenix firm, I had to pay the Phoenix sales tax rate. The transaction took place in Colorado. I’m not sure that is even legal.

I dropped off on a Sunday. The hours posed on the door indicated they were open. The door was locked. No signs of where to leave equipment.

I was there at 8:00 a.m. to drop off - but U-Hual employee, Rhonda, did not show up until 15/20 minutes later ... Time is money, and I feel like I was the one that lost money.

the woman inside working the counter could be a little more pleasant. second time my partner has gone inside to rent from this location, and both times he has come out saying how pleasantness she is

First of all, you need to revamp your reservation system. It should be easy to do via phone app, website, or by phone. It should be one step, with one process for uploading information. I had to call a national rep, then I got an email telling me to call a local rep, then I got a text asking me to call to confirm. Each time involved regurgitating the same info over and over again. Then, when I show up, it's as if nothing had happened - had to repeat the same information over and over again. The woman working at this location is grumpy and hardly acknowledges your presence. I walked in to tell her I had a reservation and her response is "not through me you don't". Well, turns out I did. I tried to rent a van and was told it would be $0.69/mile. They had no van, but a truck, and they said it would be the same cost (since they didn't have what I requested). When I get back I was charged $0.79/mile. I tried calling customer service and was told they would investigate and call me back. No call back. We were happy to have the truck but the whole reservation process was terrible. I also had no recourse because my initial reservation did not specify the agreed upon terms, which was $0.69/mile. You should confirm the financial terms of the contract upon completion of the reservation.

The phone reservation was great. I just had to take 5 minutes to check in at the office, gkt hooked up and was ready to go. It was also helpful to use the user videos the night before.over all great experience.
