I was paying cash and had to give another $ 100 in cash deposit. The process online would not take a credit car for the extra $100. This requirement is not mentioned online. I had to go back to town and use the ATM and search through several accounts to find the additional $100 and pay ATM fees. It took nearly an extra hour to do this. I had help with my moving and timelinie by when I had to be out so losing the extra hour really hurt. When I brought the truck back to West Valley City , they said they don't require cash for the extra $100 deposit on a cash transaction. Please be more consistant about your rules in the company. It was too much hassle with the rules being used by U-Haul in MantiCAROLYN C.

Uhaul system crashed and I was forced to use the online system to get my truck picked up. Kinda defeated the purpose of doing it days in advance and took 30+ minutes to get going.Jess B.

I rent U-Haul trailers 6-8 times per year. This was the worst experience I have had with U-Haul. It was not the location that was the problem...IT WAS U-HAUL. Apparently U-Haul picked up the majority of trailers from this location and only left them with 6x12 trailers, although I was told they had a 5x8. I had no choice but to rent a 6x12, since I had a delivery scheduled for a customer. So I ended up paying $30.00 more than I should have. When I called U-Haul, I got an idiot on the phone, who told me "Well you had a choice." which I did not have, since I had a scheduled delivery to make. She would not listen and transferred me, supposedly to customer Service of which I was on hold for 1/2 hour. I live in Rural Utah, and this is the closest location for me to pick up and return a trailer. If this is the kind of service U-Haul offers, I'm done with U-Haul.Linda N.

The only complaint would be the difficulty using your website paperwork. It's long and ridicules that you can't register both trucks at the same time. That was frustrating since I had done all that on line, or at least that's what I thought.Shauna S.

Reserved a truck within 15 miles from the house. They called and said I had to pick up 60 miles from the house. They originally gave me extra miles and an extra day. When we discussed the drop-off lacation they gave me extra miles AND an extra day again because the place was closed on sundays. Ended up charging me an extra 316.78 for extra days, extra miles and wrong drop-off location. I'm furious and have better things to do than spend time on the phone trying to get this all sorted.Tracy S.

I was sold a 5 day package. I did not need 5 days to make my move. I was done in 2 days. I should have been able to get a reimbursement for the 3 days not used. It cost more than enough in the first place. I think people who opt to move themselves should be able to pay for the days actually used and not days as a package.....unless a package would be more cost effective for the renter.Cynthia T.

The exterior and interior of the trailer was clean but in very poor condition. Time for this one to re\tire. The service at this location was excellent. They were very helpful having ready and helpful with the return.Linda N.

We had to pick up the truck after hours. We had great difficulty using the phone app to pick up our vehicle. When we called u-haul customer service the worker didn't know how to talk us through the process. We lost most of our moving help because we were an hour late picking up the truck after we muddled through randomly trying to get the app to work.David F.

Technology is advanced enough for you to have the correct inventory on the internet for a customer to choose from. You should not offer vans to areas that never have vans. Called in to customer service and they were horrible. Spoke with a Michelle and supervisor Christy and they are not trained properly in handling customer complaints and do not show empathy! Basically you need to update inventory on website and train call in customer service. Place I picked up the truck was great.Jana M.

I dropped the truck off, it was a Sunday and put the key in the box. I called on Monday morning to insure all was well. I asked for a call back after everything got checked in. That didn't happen. After checking my email I had one from Alvey Lumber claiming to be the invoice with a zero balance. It looked like it was a zero billing for fuel only. We filled the truck so I expected no charge there, but I wanted a final bill because the rental was for my business and I needed the receipt. I didn't get it. I do have the paperwork from the start end so I guess I'll live.Michele S.

The lady in charge had no idea how the app works and gave me the wrong instructions. Then the app itself is a joke as well, and didn't work. Horrible experience all around. From customer service on the phone, to the app, to the lady at the rental store, it was all bad.Andrew G.
