Location is reasonably accessible. Parking lot is large. Parking lot has no security though. I would rather than UHaul simply recommend that I take the truck back to a real UHaul center where I could have left the moving pads in the truck. As it was, I had to take the moving pads to UHaul big facility in Kenosha on following day because I was concerned they would be stolen out of the truck at Al's.Felicia K.

I had to drive almost an hour to get a truck when I had reserved it 3 weeks earlier. When I got arrived to pick up the truck, the keys were locked inside the truck. Had to all a locksmith to get into the truck. After an hour, the truck was opened. Went to start the truck and the battery was dead. Had to use my own vehicle to jump start the truck because I had movers waiting for me. Overall. Terrible experience.Robert C.

This is not the location I asked to pick up my U-Haul. If you can give me 24hrs advance notice I expect YOU to move my truck from any point to the place I made the reservation. Not a customer centric solution - that me the customer has to travel to who knows how far away to pick up the truck.AMBER B.

Truck was clean, but I had to mop it out before I could put wood furniture in it. I topped off the tank at the gas station where I returned the truck and drove less than 100 yards to park it and hand in the keys and was charged a large amount for gas. I thought it was strange that no one checked the fuel and mileage before I left. In any case, I will rent elsewhere if I ever need to again. I will be filing a formal complaint as soon as I have time to figure out whom to contact. I reserved online and thought all the comments I saw from people who had terrible experiences with U-Haul must be exceptions. Seems less likely now. I can't believe how angry this has made me.David M.

This rental was very disappointing...and not due to the location of Al's Country Store. Here is why: 1. I registered to rent a 9 ft. van at a nearby location for a one way rental. UHaul contacted me and indicated they could not provide that rental (substituted a 10 ft. box truck) and shifted the pick up location 25 miles away. I was told I would not be charged for the additional miles and the larger size vehicle. 2. When I arrived I had to wait 45 minutes due to "system problems". The clerk at the rental location was sympathetic and told me "no one every had to wait this long before" but that the UHaul systems were crashing. She was on the phone with a a UHaul representative for nearly 30 minutes while I waited. During that time I signed in via the UHaul website in an effort to expedite the rental and authorized payment via the internet. I then was charged a second time for the rental when the phone representative finally solved the issue. Having a system that works will be an improvement.Daniel H.

While I was told I could pick up truck & dolly at 7am Sunday, I was not able to pick up until 9am Sunday. While I was told I could drop off truck & dolly up until 9:30pm Sunday to return dolly & get final receipt, the station was closed at 7:30pm Sunday.John H.

When I went to pick up the truck it was nothing but a hassle. I've used uhaul quite a few time before and to be honest I will probably never use uhaul again while I was having such a hard time I called Penske and there rates are pretty much the same. I made a reservation online and when I went to the original location they not only didn't have my reservation in the computer but they didn't have any equipment available anyway I found a place 30 minutes away which was inconvenient but wasn't a big deal but when I got to the second location there computer was down and had to spend an hour on the phone. Then even though I gave them a credit card because I wanted to pay cash instead of charging it on my credit card it was a huge deal and I had to pay a $100 deposit. Then the lady on the phone made a huge deal when I didn't want to spend the extra money on insurance because I have my own insurance that covers rentals.Gino S.
I reserved a 26 foot truck 4 weeks ahead of when I needed it and when the weekend came, there was no truck available anywhere near me. I had to settle for a 20 foot truck and had to drive an hour and a half round trip just to pick it up. If I had any other option, I would have cancelled. Drop off went find. The next day i received a call to pay additional charges for the extra miles I drove. THE EXTRA MILES were because UHAUL sent me to another location to pickup the truck! I should not have had to pay those extra charges.Gregory P.

Uhaul has terrible communication. I've called so many times and just sit on hold and finally hang up. I have also emailed and no response. I had a heck of a time trying to figure out if my reservation was confirmed and finally, someone called me day of to say yes. I was then charged a $25 clean fee and have reached out to find out why.
