Steve was absolutely wonderful! Only was able to book a trailer for 6 hours online and was running out of time and Steve went above and beyond to allow us to have the trailer for the whole day! This comment and rating is more about the Uhaul system than the specific location: I reserved this Uhaul online, at this specific location, which the online system had indicated was available. Then ya'll switched my reservation to a different Uhaul provider location and didn't communicate that directly. I would rate the reservation and communication as POOR. In addition, the drop-off process is very over-labor intensive for the customer, and you're essentially asking the customer to do what should be the job of the location's employees (such as verifying cleanliness, mileage reading and checking gas gauge). In the process of moving, this process was overly tedious, and we found it quite annoying.MARCUS G.

When i picked my first truck up it poured 10 gallons of gas on the road in between the pick up location and my house which was 20 miles one way, this was apparently due to someone stealing gas out of it the night before i picked it up i was told by the location manager. The truck should have been looked over since they knew it had been tampered with... i ended up reconnecting the fuel return line myself and exchanging the truck for one that hadnt been tampered with. when i went to drop the truck off at my contract location i had to call uhaul because the website wouldnt let me return the truck at the contract location, i was told by an operator at uhaul that the location wasnt accepting anymore units and that i would have to take it an extra 90 miles to lewiston from the contract location in grangeville, Id to drop it off. I left the truck at the original drop off location over night because where i was staying over night was 60 miles away and when i returned the next morning to take the truck to lewiston the guy was standing at the truck and said he didnt know what the lady i talked to at uhaul was talking about and that he would accept the truck. Uhaul then charged me for an extra day despite the fact that i tried to drop it off a day early...daniel H.

Originally scheduled my pickup and drop off for the 30th of October through the 1st of November. I later called the Bend Oregon location to move my pickup date to the 29th of October which caused my drop off date to be a day earlier as well which was not explained to me. Today (the 31st of October) I called UHaul customer support to explain that I was not informed of the new drop off date and was not met with any support towards the situation and was charged for using an extra day.James R.
Steve was and his assistant were both helpful and friendly. Steve also loaned his reefer dolly which was needed and big time appreciated. U hauls website is frustrating and does not provide real time information as it informed me that a trailer was not available at this site when in fact it was. Frustrating!DAVID G.

We tried to drop off the truck early and found it to be a very small location and not officially open until 9. Might have been helpful to know the situation beforehand or understand the early drop-off process. The staff was excellent and also very efficient when we returned at 9 to hand over the key.Jeff H.

Everything was great except the wrong credit card was charged. I held the reservation with a personal card, when my husband picked up the trailer, he gave his business credit card, but somehow they charged mine anyway. Thankfully it didn't mess up my account. My debit card was charged $100.00 while I was still in possession of the rental truck. The contract states the rental charge is $20.00 per 24 hours, plus mileage. I also rented a utility dolly. I drove less than 20 miles, filled the tank with 6 gallons of gas per the attendant's instructions. They were super busy but, after doing the on-line reservation and then the on-line check in at home, I had the keys in 5 minutes once I arrived. Only needed the truck for a couple of hours, then drop off took only a minute. Receipt emailed in an hour or so. A very good experience. And the truckâ€¦wow! So fast, so powerful!! Nah, it was just what you'd expect from a 10' U Haul truck. Worked fine.Richard T.
Parking is a real challenge at this location. I was charged $21 for a dolly I never ordered and never loaded in the truck, I would like that refunded. The truck was dirty inside, windshield wiper blades were shredded, and the vehicle pulls strongly to the right. I know it's super busy and time/staff for inspection and maintenance is likely a challenge, but thought someone should know.Randall C.

This was the worst customer service experience I have had in 12 years of living in Bend. I don't think this guy should be in business, he should look for another job or not just work entirely. Here is where thinks went off rails. 1) his whole demeanor was extremely grumpy and sour. Not sure what was wrong with him. I was calm and collected the entire time but his behavior kept getting worse and worse. He told me he did not feel like giving me the auto transport because he felt I could not return it on time. 2) I was charged for two full days ( 48hrs) but he told me I had to bring the trailer back after 27hrs. In other words he booked the trailer ontop of my appointment. 3) He wanted the trailer back at 3:30pm yesterday but due to construction ðŸš§ delays and accidents between Bend and Refmond, I couldn't make it back on his time. I arrived at 5pm. 4) He asked us to return the trailer and park in in front of the closed gate. If you have been to 2nd street, we had to block traffic to back into the location that he recommended. This was extremely unsafe and please tell him not to tell another customer to do the same. Not sure what he was thinking. 3) I will never again rent from this guy. Also, the corporate should have another person work with him. It's not safe for him to work alone.Sinclair K.

Parking not available. Access to the person behind counter was not available using Covid-19 as a restriction although in this area we have been un masked for at least a month. The vehicle was totally full of bugs on windshield. I could not even remove them all since they had been on there so long. I should not have to be cleaning up after others.Alan F.

Both times I rented from here was very disorganized and chaoticâ€¦.First time the woman who worked there was rude. Second time the owner showed up 20 minutes past reservation time and chastised me because he was unaware of the reservation I made three days earlier, was a â€œone man showâ€ and couldn't hire employeesâ€¦.Wowâ€¦I won't bother you with my business again.
