Daniel FI had a reservation for a 9 foot van for about a week and a half. And when I went to pick up they said there wasn’t a 9 foot van anywhere for me to use. So they upgraded my truck to the 10 foot and I’m honestly relieved that happened because all my stuff wouldn’t have fit in the van. The location on weaverville rd was super nice the whole time. 10/10

Joe PAllen’s Gulf was wonderful to rent from. They explained why my personal insurance may not cover items if I had an accident so i opted for the insurance even though i was only driving the rental for less than forty miles. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Nikki JTruck had leaks and we have damage that we now have to go through insurance to get covered. We spent a lot on gas and the performance was weak. The truck has an exhaust leak as well.

Lee SSketchy, dirty gas station. No room to maneuver trailer. No place to park truck or trailer. Gas pumps not functional for truck tank refill. Thus, charged extra for gas. Also charged extra for "equipment damage" and "incorrect drop off location" despite me driving 35 minutes out of my way to drop at this location per reservation info. Moreover, drive to this location put me over miles for more over charges. Not sure if I should be mad at U haul for non functioning app, confusing website reservation, and confusing/conflicting drop-off instructions or this drop off site for all the extra charges. I think it's a little of both. I will try a different rental company next time, and I definitely won't use this drop off location next time.

Therese RAllens gulf is the best location to rent uhaul in the area. They are always super helpful and respectful of the customer. I have used the East Asheville Uhaul and have had to walk out the door and change plans due to the rudeness of the staff over there. Thank you Allens gulf, a+ service!!!
JAMES Hthis location is unable to use the app. the truck had dog hair all in it. And I’m allergic to dogs, so it was a miserable day. And our bill ended up being more than we expected.
Carroll KI rented the 5X9 open trailer to haul my motorcycle. I would have been nicer, better and more appreciated if the trailer had been swept out or hosed down before pick up. There was dried mud & straw (not so easy to sweep out) in the front end of the trailer and I didn't want to have that debris blowing onto my nice clean touring bike. That's all. Every thing else was good. The guys, Max & Allen were awesome to work with. Thank you

Laurel OI wouldn’t say improve but I am going to leave a comment here that the staff was amazing! They explained everything and when the back of the truck was dirty they swept it quickly and cleaned it.
Hillarie GOn the tow dolly a light didn’t work and the straps were so frayed we ended up using extra chains to secure the vehicle and used tape to reinforce the straps. Could have been tragic if we hadn’t had the extra chains etc. I don’t think it was ever inspected before we got there.
Wendy SI returned the uhaul after 2 hours and 9 miles of driving. The rental place is also a gas station. I put a gallon of gas in the truck, an employee jumped in and told me it looked good when asked if I had put enough gas in. He then pulled away and parked the truck. I later received a receipt showing I was charged a gas service fee of $30 and for an additional 4 gallons of gas. 5 gallons of gas to drive 9 miles? Do not trust this place. They bill you fraudulently. Worst experience I have ever had at a uhaul and have used them for over 25 years.

BARBARA TUhaul should accept responsibility in ensuring their vendors can handle refunds when necessary. I’m very disappointed that they couldn’t refund the expense I incurred when having to purchase windshield wipers for a Uhaul rental.

Jason AAllens Gulf was exceptional, very fast no hassle service. Check in and hookup less than 10 minutes, drop off, less than 5 minutes. Will definitely specify them in the future for all my trailer rentals. I have used 3 other U-Haul locations in the Asheville, NC area and they are the Best!

There was trash in the truck, I took video of some other good. Please rent people better cars, we work hard for our money
