I didn't know about the rental instruction video. So I ended up returning the truck by just dropping off the key in the drop box without doing all the stuff I was supposed to do upon returning such as taking pictures as evidence. Having a big and clear writing on the box to "watch and follow the returning instruction" would help better.Naoko H.
Everything was great at the UHaul location. Our truck rental had the engine light come on but the location had a mechanic on site to fix the concern and we were on our way. The staff is friendly and polite through the whole time of pickup.Beatriz S.
After booking a truck, I was then called and told that the truck was not available. That is so unprofessional. The web experience was delayed in informing me that I would have to use the 24/7 checkout process. It informed me a day late, where originally I was supposed to do an in-person checkout. This change interfered with my moving plans. Speaking with customer service to obtain help on going through with this online checkout process was lackluster. The agent literally laughed at my concern. Uhaul's poor customer service over the phone combined with changing my checkout process and available truck a day after I booked it will now be a reason not to use Uhaul in the future. The staff were very friendly, but the staff seemed a little disorganized with my pickup. It is not a dedicated U-Haul facility, but everything worked out well.Michelle P.
Having a hard time using your app to pick up the vehicle. So many steps and the app is so slow in responding. I think that all the information before the pickup should be done ahead online, and the code should be emailed so it's easier for pickup.louis cadiz L.

the fuel gauge does not work properly it showed a half a tank of gas I drove 20 miles it went up to 3/4 of a tank of gas I drove another 20 mi it went below a half a tank I've already informed the location I rented it from and I sent an email to U-Haul informing informing them of the mechanical problemLatrisha F.

No improvements needed. Great customer service all around. The equipment was in great condition. I drove straight through from Merced,CA to Arlington Tx with not a single problem. U-haul is the way to go for cross country moves.Michael T.

Just cause it says they are open at 8am does not mean they will be ready to help you at 8am. They still needed time to process the opening duties for their business and i had to wait til nearly 30 minutes to process my pick up. Not a problem if you have any other appointments, so plan ahead. The tank had 1/4 gas and I filled it up and it cost me $80 to do soChristina V.

truck was not cleaned, had to wait for previous user to go to bank to pay his rental. Finally service rep just closed his account out and rented the truck to us. had no gas in it, they had to go put 1/4 of gas in the truck... awful servicesabrina H.

staff was awesome and very helpful. nothing could top the service I got here. totally helpful and seemed to go out of their way to help me which was completely the opposite of my experience in Hanford where the gentleman was doing just the bare minimum of his job. the gentleman in Merced was a wonderful polar opposite of the man in Hanford.Irwin H.

Picking up the truck was so easy and hassle free. I was disappointed at how dirty the windshield was. Everything else went so smooth. If I need to rent a moving truck I would definitely do it with the Uhaul app. So cool and smooth. No wait or hassle... Thank you for a great transaction, Uhaul. Like I said though I didn't like all the bugs and dirt plastered on the windshield...Jonathan A.

Picking up truck was fast and easy no hassle the guy new what he was doing and was very friendly dropping off was another guy besides the fact that it took him more than double the time he kept having to call the guy that checked me in and ask questions he didn't believe that i did not request any tools so tried charging for them then tried double charging my card another customer walked in and he asked me to step to the side so he could check him out at that point i was frustrated but i stepped aside contined to wait then he got s calculator to figure the amount i was over charged took about 35 - 40 min to finally check outYolanda N.
