The vehicle was old and seemed to have transmission problems, shifting roughly between gears. Also, was charged for moving pads, but wasn't in the truck. Totally self service via an app (need a smart phone). Low touch and low service consequently. Located in a sketchy area, didn't feel safe being on our own in that area. Vehicle was clean. Served it's purpose.Randall K.

I was pleased with uhaul reps handle my Situation I had reservations at Mail in mart in Lancaster' boulevard but that company never opened their store I was late to my meetings and picking up are homeless patients items I called uhaul rep and I was taken care really fast and rep gave me a Reservations i meet with Mr Leo he helped me very fast and I was able to take care of my patients. But otherwise this mail mart should not promise to have reservation that they can't meet. But rep and Mr Leo helped me thanks.Jennie S.

I didn't initially book at this location but he however did everything he could to accommodate me after the place I made the reservation at, at least a month in advance called me the day of my reservation to tell me they didn't have the equipment I reserved. I was on a very tight time schedule and not getting the truck until nearly 4pm messed up my entire move.DANIELLE Y.

Don't have the associate talk about his personal life to me for 20 minutes. Inform me AHEAD OF TIME IF EXTRA MONEY WILL BE CHARGED ON MY ACCOUNT AND HOW AND WIN I WILL GET IT BACK. The truck was old and dirty inside. Unfortunately I didn't look inside the cup holders when I was picking it up and filling out the online form because I would have added a picture, but it was crusty and gross. The representative also stated that he â€œnever washes the moving blanketsâ€ which is absolutely unacceptable during a pandemic.KATHLEEN L.

Don't double book. When I arrived for pickup, another person was booked for the same truck at the same time. The only reason I got it was I turned in my reservation at an earlier time than the other person did. Don't keep changing my reservation date and pickup location. The day was changed and the pickup location was changed causing additional money to be spent by me. Have the truck full of gas, so that when I return it I know how much gas to put in it. As it was I spent about 20.00 more than I needed to on gas. Total spent more than necessary was 20.00 on gas and 90.00 because of pickup location. I now consider U-Haul a very non-professional organization and will use Penske in the Future. I will also recommend that none of my friends use U-Haul.Robert A.

So I'm no stranger to U-Haul The trailer was yada yada a typical U-Haul trailer it does the job as always, let's talk about where does U-Haul find their owners!!!(dramatic pause) I pulled in with my 6x12 trailer to drop off, there was about 12 trucks in the front lot so I didn't really know where to go so I got out the vehicle, went inside and saw there was about 8 people in line so I went back outside to wait as I was walking outside I saw the owner walking towards my vehicle I asked if he can help me and he said of course with a huge smile on his face lol so I started to undo the chains for the Manager as he was checking me in I'm assuming then he politically said I quote "Sir that is not your job I will take the trailer off for you after I check the vehicle in and send you a email of your receipt" awesome right then I turned around and see this guy lifting the 6x12 off of my vehicle and walking it where do they do that at!! I got in my car and pulled off but I wanted to be sure that I was 100% okay to go so I walked inside and see a tall goofy kid under a little pressure but not letting the smile come off his face. I look over and see the same guy smiling nonstop treating those as if they were family all while making sure his employee was okay and his customers... Come on can't get better than that thanks prosper U-Haul I'll be back.DANTE J.

I rented the truck for 4am. I received the confirmation that the truck will be ready at that hour. When I went to pick up the truck the app had a hold to pick it up at 9am when the store opens. The employee is not reliable at all. I tried calling at that time and he said he saw the call and didn't answer because it was too early. Very disappointed with that U-Haul location.CHARLENE M.

The only problem I had was when I had to return the truck the key didn't fit i to the drop box, so I had to take the key off the ring, hold the key until the morning and bring the key back. Cause someone could have stolen the keys and the truck. Didn't like that one bit.Cherokee L.

After dropping off the truck i owed 64 and was told to call customer service the next day to settle the balance. I do that and the guy i talked to said he didnt see any outstanding charges on my account. About 5-7 days later my card is charged 102 and when i called customer service i was told there was no reason why the previous phone operator couldnt find the amount that i owed on my account and i was supposed to pay it within a certain amount of days. So i was charged an extra 30 for a bill i had tried to resolve on time at a time when i really needed that money for other purposes. I really wish you guys would have at least reimbursed my 30 late fee or looked up the recording of the call when i called and the guy told me i didnt owe anything.JENNIFER G.

The rental truck I had orginally reserved would not start because the gas was siphoned out. The area is less than ideal. I was given a smaller substitute truck which caused me to have to make an additional trip. The gentleman that worked there was polite however and did what he could to assist me.Ashleigh F.

My overall experience was not good. I were advisled after the fact that the drop off location would change . Which messed up my whole schedule. The original drop off was close to my Palmdale address. It was changed to Lancaster by U Haul due to their inside difficulties which was not my problem. I could have walked back from the Palmdale location but in turn had to take two buses back. I missed part of my four year old grand son first basketball game . What a bummer. LolPHYLLIS L.
