The staff were great and kept me informed. The truck I ordered was not going to be available so they called to inform me well in advance of the alternative vehicle they could provide. I appreciated this because it gave me peace of mind knowing I would have a vehicle when I needed one. Once I arrived, everyone was friendly and helpful. I overheard them talking about another customer and how they could better serve him when he returns. I thought that was great. Another customer was at the wrong place for his Amazon return but they took the time to explain how he could best be served going forward. They clearly are customer focused at this location. You low life scum bags. My requested pick up location was Greece NY not 90 miles away. You didn't bother to let me know until 6:50 pm the night before. They called me because they said that you all were supposed to be back at 9:30 but we didn't check out from picking up the U-Haul that they previously to 1130 but we still got charged I told him about my experience with you all and he said that there was nothing that he could do to help with all of the fuel that we had to put into it because we did not rent from themWILLIAMF W.

The checkout process via your app took about 2 hours. I couldn't even complete the check-in process which resulted in an extra day rental. Your CS staff hung up and disconnected me numerous times. Trenton was the only rep that provided great service. AIMS was great, my UHual experience was terrible- so much that I begged my niece to try Penske for her move this weekend, and I'll never, ever use UHaul again in my life.Jessica C.

Don't rent out trucks with dangerously worn tires!! According to the UHaul rep at the drop- off location, the tires were so worn, it was amazing I arrived to my destination. That would explain why I had trouble controlling the truck at hwy speeds!Wendy D.

I had a truck reserved for local for one day. The truck was rented out to someone else despite confirmation. I had to get a truck,much larger than I needed or wanted at a SECOND location. The truck I actually got was dirty in the cab. The floor was full of mud and it also smelled.. The windshield was covered in bug splatter and I had to clean it before I could use the truck. Both power ports were dead so I couldn't keep my phone charged for google maps. This bad experience is the second one I had with U-haul in two months. I will look elsewhere for a rental from now on.Richard A.

I called the Hornell location reserved a 10 ft truck. Later the same day I received a follow up call from U-haul main office confirming my 10 ft. truck reservation. The next morning I arrive at Hornell location for my 10ft truck. I am then told I cannot have the truck even though it's in perfect working order and sitting right outside the door. The counter worker told me I would have to choose a larger 17 ft truck because the manager said he's keeping the 10ft truck for future one way rental. I tell them I cannot use a larger 17 ft truck. They tell me the only other option is a small van. I needed a truck that day so I take the only choice I have and move what I can with it. I was promised a 10ft truck twice! But the manager refused to rent it to me for the day. I am not happy with the experience I had with U-haul because of the manager refusing to honor my reservation.richard A.

I believe I was over charged, I initially rented the truck for a week with 350 miles but when i got their to pick it up I said I didn't know thete was a elvis package available with 750 miles so they changed it for me and charged me a little over the hundred. After the week I wasnt finished moving so I called abs said I haven't even used half the miles but wanted to keep the truck. They Informed me that it would be twenty dollars a day for the truck and no mileage charge until I went over the initial 750 then I should be charged per mile. Clearly that is not ethat happened, I kept our another 5 days and in total was billed seven hundred dollars. I will not recommend to anyone to purchase this service becausr I was misled about pricingBrandy C.

I have no issue with Aims. I do have a major issue between U-Haul's website and the U-Haul dealers in Western New York. We used the U-Haul website to reserve a 5x8 trailer to be picked up at 10 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Lockport, NY and we received a message that we would receive a call at 6:00PM the day before. At 6:00 PM on the 28th we received the call, but they didn't have a trailer available in Lockport, NY at all. I was told a trailer would become available at 6:00PM on the 29th in Buffalo, NY. This was no good for us as it did not meet our needs or expectations for our reservation. We had been driving long distance from out-of-state to move some furniture and personal belongings and needed the trailer earlier in the day to get it loaded. I was hot... I asked if a trailer might be available anywhere nearby and no trailer anywhere close. The gentleman I was talking with was able to locate a 5x8 trailer down in Hornell, NY as the closest location so I requested it be reserved for us. The big issue here was the long drive to Hornell just to pick up the trailer over 2-hours away, and then turn around and drive back with the trailer thus losing significant time we had intended to use to load the trailer. I am not happy that the website indicated a trailer had been reserved for us and come to find out there was no trailer available at the last minute.Robert R.

Unit had rusty latches to tie down the front tire. Almost impossible to tighten up. When time to take off, needed pliers to get ratchet to work. This trailer should be retired or upgraded. Don't give to another customer. Beyond that, Uhaul representative failed to secure the auto transport to the tow vehicle so that when I started to load the vehicle on th trailer, the supposedly locked hitch lock failed and lifted the hitch about 4 feet until I stopped loading the vehicle. The excuse I got was that the locked seemed tight although it was not.. Rep came out and tightened the lock further. Luckly, the auto transport did not damage my tow vehicle.David N.
