When we arrived to pick up the Uhaul they said their computer systems were down & we couldn't pick up the Uhaul. After going back & forth & trying to get it we were told to go ahead & keep the Uhaul until the following morning due to the trouble at pickup. We were supposed to return it that evening but due to the personnel stating that we just kept it overnight & returned it the following morning as advised. I just received my receipt & I was billed more for keeping it. We were done with the truck that evening but since we were told not to worry about the drop off until the morning we went to bed & returned it when told. I will not use the service again.

Assistant manager Chris was great. Really helpful and personable. Unfortunately another guy seemed to be in a hurry because it was later in the day (I just got off work). He offered to hook up the trailer. He didn't pay attention and hit my brand new truck with the trailer causing over $2000 in damages. Yes the insurance paid the damage but it was evident that had he slowed down and waited for help this wouldn't have happened. Really sucks to have your brand new vehicle damaged like that. Plus the inconvenience of having to take off work to get it fixed. Like I said though… Chris was awesome. Good guy.

The truck was dirty, especially on the inside, including the cab and the cargo area. There were used gloves on the dash, nails in the floorboard, and dirt on the seats, and in the cargo area, there was dirt and trash, including cigarette butts.

Owner completely scammed us. Don't rent here. My wife and I rented online and selected no insurance. When we went to pick up the truck the owner of the business said “no extra insurance, just the basic?”, which I thought was a confusing question since we selected none so I stated that I did not want any extra insurance. We were then billed by U-Haul for insurance and when we pointed out that we selected no additional insurance online they called the owner and he “confirmed” to them that we asked for basic coverage to be added at the time of pick up. Completely dishonest as best and a flat out lie and scam at worst. Lots of places to rent a truck, go someone less shady and dishonest.

The online return for after hours is possibly the worse thing I have every done on a company app. And then when I held on the phone for 45 minutes I was told it would cost me 20.00 for them to help me. Not sure i will use UHaul again for this simple reason. Would be willing to discuss. Thanks for your time on this matter.

The issue was with the after hour pick process as opposed to the location itself. The instructions for the 24/7 pickup direct you to the Uhaul website, the process failed when attempting to get my location. I spent approximately 45 minutes on two calls (one of which was dropped on a transfer) trying to get access to the vehicle while waiting outside in the cold. I self resolved the process when looked to see if there was an app (there was, downloaded it and used it to successfully obtain the lock box code. The whole problem was easily avoidable had the instructions directed me to the app in the first place. As a secondary matter I was charged a 14% "Rental Tax", however, a lookup of applicable tax rates indicates no such rate and likely should only be 10% for short term vehicle rental.

I would never recommend this location. I reserved the truck for 4 hrs and the rental location modified the reservation and changed back to just 2.5 hrs and charged for 2 rental periods and added insurance without my consent. They loot you like anything and doesnt care respond to customer questions

I had also reserved a pack of moving blankets, but this location did not have any so I had to go to another location. Please make sure your locations have these basic necessities on hand to avoid this type of inconvenience.

I was charged for one extra day's cost, when I reserved the truck, I was told that 2 more free days are provided for me to take it out of the parking lot immediately. But ultimately when I returned the U-Haul, I was charged which is not align with what they promises.

The truck had over 3/4 gas and the paper said it was under 3/4. That was the only thing I a concern with. Overall everything was as should be.

Location was set back from main road ((Walnut) and was very hard to find. No Signage. Only UHaul Trailers in parking lot. Store front view blocked by building. Fast, helpful service after I foind them... but it took a while

The tow dolly could have used a little maintenance. The tire strap ratchets were really hard to operate as was the hitch latch. Not a big deal but both were kind of a pain

Then, my husband dropped the equipment off at the drop off location (again, per email instructions from U-Haul) the night before it was due and we got a text three weeks later stating we had to call U-Haul because our equipment had alledgedly never been dropped off. So, U-Haul first sent me to the wrong location, made me feel like an inferior idiot AND to top it all off, the drop off location never checked in my equipment. So, in short-everything. Changed everything. We'll use Penske in the future.

Customer service was wonderful, the guy at Advantage Tire was very friendly and helpful. The truck itself was in desperate need of service though and due to that, was difficult to handle while driving. The brakes were going out and the check engine light was on as well. The steering was sometimes difficult.The truck had several large dents and scratches on the sides of it.

The vehicle was low on gas. The man I rented from had me down for less mileage than I started, making it a larger total at finish. When I opened the back to load my furniture, the truck was nasty with dirt and debris from previous renter and there were dead cockroaches inside the truck. I had to buy a broom and cleaning equipment to sweep and scrub the truck and tarps to wrap my furniture. It was a horrible experience. I do not recommened this location.
