Maintain at the VERY MINIMUM a wipe down of the interior of the truck or van you're giving out to your customers, with disinfectant wipes. Our truck was pretty gnarly, and I would definitely stay away from this location. It was dirty and in someone's former house. Gross. Next, please...By the way... when an insurance agent rents a truck from you, and you clearly tell the rep behind the counter YOU DO NOT WANT the extra insurance, and you put it on the sales slip anyway thinking they won't catch it & you try to charge them for it anyway, CLAIMING "oh sorry, I didn't catch that", sorry guy. I'm not the idiot you were hoping for. Once again, take it off and remind me not to recommend you to anyone I know.Hull H.

Truck's check engine light was on the entire time and was leaking water inside the cab. I thought this bad until I also saw that it leaked water inside the truck bed on equipment that I was hauling. Kind of ridiculous to rent a truck and destroy my own stuff.Ryan B.

Office was supposed to be open. No one there. Called - no answer. Called main office in Madison, WI - agent was informative and friendly. She told us to drop keys in box and leave truck. We did and it was ok but very apprehensive of process.Carole F.

My problem was NOT with the local provider of Uhaul. He was fine. My problem came from Uhaul.com, which sent me to an old Uhaul agent. I spent almost half an hour on the phone trying to locate the new location, only to be hung up on twice before speaking with anyone. That lost time of one hour put me back with the laborers hired to unload my truck later that day. The delay cost me an extra $40 out of my own pocket. So, the problem was with Uhaul.com providing outdated information for pickup locations and then a completely useless phone system for contacting to get new information. I had to figure it allout on my own through consultation with old Uhaul dealer, which cost me time and money. So I'm not impressed with the website and phone system at all, even though the local dealer was perfectly fine.Brendan G.

Misinformation about the allowable grace period to return trailer on a Sunday when this facility was closed. Informed during pick-up that since facility was closed all day, they would be lenient on the return. Trailer brought back < 2 hours after due time and I was charged for an entire additional day!Jake H.

My problem wasn't specifically with this location but my entire uhaul experience. I was supposed to pickup my 26' truck on Thursday night. A few hours before pickup I get a text that says my rental isn't available for pickup I until the next morning. So I call and after being on hold and talking to the wrong people for over an hour and a half, I was told I would have to go 40 minutes away to this location for pickup the next morning. I asked if they can guarantee that it would be there and I was promised that it would be. So the next morning I drive to this location and my truck isn't there. After about a half an hour of back and forth I was told that the best they could do was give me a 20' truck but instead of a one way rental, it had to be returned there. Where I was moving to was 4 hours away. So I had to drive it back there and have someone follow me to pick me up, costing us each another 8 hours. I called uhaul to let them know I was displeased and I was on hold for over two and a half hours, being hung up on 4 different times by four different people who put me on hold. On top of this the truck smelled like cigarettes, there was ash in overs cup holder, it was sticky from whatever was spilt in there, and the check engine light was on the entire time. This is unacceptable and a huge waste of my time for something that is supposed to be convenient. And now I need to figure out how to get the rest moved as I couldn't fit everything because I didn't get the truck I ordered.Jesse E.

This was by far such an easy and smooth pick-up. This experience was a great one. It was nice to walk in to no wait, business hours as indicated, and they person was available and ready with paperwork, knowledge, and overall made my experience very pleasurable.Mariam G.
While store is in a good location it is somewhat isolated and could use more safety lighting for after dark customers. It may be difficult to find based on address alone. Additional guidance in advertisements would be helpful for example noting that one need "Access by a frontage road on north side of Lake St." Jessie is great and works hard. Need more cargo vans available for rent. Parking lot pot holes need to be fixed.Michelle L.
