Renting a truck was super easy, the staff was welcoming, the truck well-maintained, but it is unfortunate that the larger u-haul company charges the day use fee, plus mileage and you also have to return it with gas. You get triple hit and increases the day use. So unfortunately probably wouldn't rent a truck for local use again.DAVID M.

The truck I had reserved completely shut down in the middle of a busy street for no reason. I pulled up to a red light and immediately say the engine light go on. Not only did I spend 50 minutes on the phone waiting for roadside assistance, I eventually had to have some strangers help me by figuring out what went wrong and with dumb like had the car restart. I did not turn the car off after that until the return. While I understand car/ engine failure can happen, please be more responsive with your road side assisatance. Thanks youMEGAN O.

Let customers know ahead of time that there will be an after hour service fee of $20. They were aware this would be the case because I asked about the drop off process including key drop box location etc. Not once was this mentioned. Also, they didn't mark my fuel properly and that resulted in extra charges as well.VIVIANA B.

I had a reservation for $89.00, I called because I was going to be late picking up the truck, an extra day was added which I didn't need, and the total increased to $153.68. I thought if I turned in the vehicle early the extra day would be taken off. When I turned in the truck less than 20 hours later in, the person in charge said they have nothing to do with payments, that has to do with the place where I received the truck. I really feel that I was cheated by U-haul this time. Also I was given the truck with a quarter tank of gas and returned it with just slightly less than three quarters. With the price of gas something should have been reimbursed there. As I said this experience wasn't my best.KATHERINE J.

Location Great; Office area needs a make over. I'm more disgusted with U Haul who tacked on an extra $20 " after hours service fee" even though I rented it for 6 hours and dropped the key in the after hours box. In addition, they charged me for 2 gallons of fuel ( I drove a total of 17 miles) and added gas to where needle was when I picked it up and have pic of receipt and gas guage to prove it. Pretty Shady UHaul. Worse yet, I called customer service to dispute, and was onhold 35 min until I pressed button for a call back in 1-2 hours.... the call back came 5 hours later and automated call hook up told me they were connecting me to a rep . I'm now on hold music minute # 38 for my " don't wait; we'll call you when we have somebody free to speak with you". Pitiful.PAUL M.

When I dropped the truck off there was no one there but we knew this. The problem is that there was absolutely not one place to put the truck on the lot or on the street within a block of the location. It totally stressed me out. I had to leave it partially into the entrance of the facility. I was there for near an hour hoping to find a spot to leave the truck. I just don't want to be charged or fined for leaving it partially in a place that I clearly was instructed not to do, There were no choices and no one around to help.JEFFREY G.

The location was excellent. The process for dropping off using the website was a joke. It did not work . I then waited 30 min on the phone to talk to a person that did not help improve the matter. I came back in the morning so the location employees could help me. Having everyone do work for you is messed up. Especially when you are charging the prices your charging. If you are asking customers to do work through the website for you you could at least give them a discount. The location was excellent but your companies ever increasing policy of ignorance is insulting.DATHA R.

I'm sorry that i cannot remember their names, but the lady and the gentleman that were ruining this Adam's Avenue location were really cool people who were great at their respective jobs and super oriented to the customer and their needs. These two were remarkable customer service representatives and teammates that i thought they were married. They were not. As it turns out, they're just two great people who care about the customers experience and strive to please. I couldn't say anything negative about either encounter i had at Adam's Ave U-haul. I publically give my wholehearted recommendation to anyone needing help with a move, a new storage space to keep their lives safe, boxes or anything shipping and moving, to give the Adam's Avenue U-haul location their business. I'm crystal you'll be taken care of. Ps. I was there on Monday, Sept. 14th, 2021, this most recent time, Ave i picked up@ 8am, dropped the truck and dolly back off at 11 ish.
