The strap on the tow dolly where not long enough to secure the vehicle tires..the ramps on the dolly needed oil or lubricant the strap ratchets were rusted..and hard to make work properly...

DEBORA CCAME IN THE STORE AS I RESERVED THE 20’ TRUCK INWAS CHECKED IN THE EMPLOYEE TOOK ALL MY INFORMATION ID AND EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH, I RENTED THE TRUCK FROM 5pm-10pm. PER THE EMPLOYEE SAID ITS OKAY TO KEEP THE U-HAUL UNTIL NEXT DAY DUE TO THE FACT THAT STORE CLOSES BEFORE 10pm SO KEEP THE TRUCK AND BRING IT BACK WHEN STORE OPENS, SO I DID. THEN, THE NEXT DAY COMES, AS I WAS TOLD I CAME IN WHEN STORE OPENED AND RETURNED THE TRUCK AS I WAS TOLD AND THE EMPLOYEE THAT TOOK CARE OF ME NEVER CHECKED THE TRUCK BACK IN. SO I GO HOME AND I GET HOME AND RECEIVED A CALL AND A TEXT MESSAGE THAT I WAS 17 hours LATE ON RETURNING THE TRUCK AND IT WAS GOING TO BE REPORTED STOLEN. THEY SCARED THE SOUL OUT OF MY BODY.. WHEN I HAD JUST GOTTEN BACK FROM RETURNING THE TRUCK. I SHOULDNT BE ACCUSED OF SOMETHING THAT I DIDNT DO. They should’ve checked before accusing me. Anyways I am not going back to that store. I DONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

The lady there really helped with the process which involved my daughter driver license that was having trouble scanning She was able to work it out. Nate RAce Hardware was excellent. The young man who disconnected the trailer was very helpful and polite. This is in contrast to my experience in Carson City where I encountered people who were rude and not helpful at all. It is disheartening to deal with people who show such disregard for customers.
John CThe interior of the truck was just beat up. It seems the vehicle has been used hard. Visors hanging off, dropped down at random times, the truck ran fine and it was clean, but I can't imagine what it takes to beat a vehicle that hard in so few miles. 24/7 check in, check-out isn't much easier than waiting at the counter. I assume the kinks will get dialed in over time.
Douglas HIt would be helpful to state the size of the gas tank somewhere inside the truck so that customers don't have to overfill the tank when returning the vehicle. Showing fractional indications without knowing what size the gas tank is - meaningless and not fair to your customers.

MARLA J$19.95 Per Day should mean 24 hours and we should not be pressured to return a vehicle before that time. Either Rent the vehicles by the day or by the hour but enough of the double speak. Being pressured to complete a tiring task more quickly than advertised is not a shrewd business practice it is just plain misleading and dishonest.
vain sEquipment was clean but less than a mile into the drive the empty fuel light went on. Idk why you would allow your vehicle to be rented without checking if there is adequate gas first

Robert RYounger guy that usually does the uhaul check ins is always a grump in the morning. Does his job, but almost seems angry that you’re there to get a uhaul. Location is convenient for me, but if I had a better option I would go elsewhere.

TRACY GTruck sounded like garbage, almost no power in the engine, transmission hard shifting, clearly truck was not maintained well. Drove a total of 6 miles and these guys charged me for 2 gallons of gas to refill? Are you telling me these trucks get 3 miles per gallon? Fuck outta here

Kyle POnly after confirming my reservation with a service rep was it evident the pickup location had changed. This was a hefty cab fare from the Mesa airport. The whole process could have instead been automated with a clear web-based UI. Or have some kind of prepayment structure that obligates locations to hold inventory on a time-related basis. This location was alright in terms of getting us on our way, but upon stepping in, we were asked to leave carry-on luggage at the entrance until they learned we had reservations. No can do when there are life-critical things in there. Am relieved this wasn't an impasse since these trips can be exhausting and expensive. The store was stocked with support items like Fix-A-Flat and manual winches, and the staff were nice besides. But between that initial salutation and "don't steal" signs, the place needs a friendlier vibe. Securing a location with surveillance and locking down items of value seems more effective than expressing distrust. It's off-putting to legitimate customers and merely tips off would-be offenders.

Thomas KThe service was terrible. People were very rude. The truck was dirty and I was WAY overcharged for gas after I returned the truck. THERE IS NO WAY I SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR 4 GALLONS OF GAS. I DID NOT USE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT MUCH. I ONLY USED THE TRUCK FOR A FEW HOURS AND ONLY DROVE A FEW MILES. IF ANYTHING I SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN CHARGED FOR ONE GALLON OF GAS. THESE PEOPLE STRAIGHT UP ROBBED ME!

Alicia FGreat people, friendly, and professional. There were a few sign in and sign out process, that Uhaul is strange about. Especially taking a photo of both sides of license, and sent thru text. I don't like sending by any electronic filings.
Bill MThe staff I had helped me with all the hookups and information needed for a safe experience. Trailering in the mountain roads in Arizona can be tricky. It was good to know the setup was right.
