Owner asked me to NOT drop trailer at night and return next day. I asked when they open he said 9:00 I told him we would drop next day. At 9:20 called with attitude trailer wasn't back yet. Wasn't waiting for other customer to rent but was not nice about it. My wife retuned trailer by 10:15. She told him I didn't know trailer NEEDED back at 9:00 he told my wife â€œI'm a liarâ€ I asked when they opened not what time it needed returned. We did a favor by keeping over night to insure trailer wasn't stolen and this is how we were treated?!?!Joshua J.

Better communication, plus better customer service from your reps. Rebecca from the facility was very rude. See the comments below, left on Google review: "Reserved and picked up a van at 5:30pm; 30 minutes from closing. Representative Zack was very friendly while taking my info and payment; but he failed to inform me that I needed to call a particular number to inform when the van was turned in (the van was turned in 3 hours later). I was just told to park the van where it was originally parked, as well as, place the key in the orange drop box located on one of the outside pillars. The cost for rental was approximately $45. Upon checking my bank account this morning I was charged an additional $57. I called the facility and spoke to Rebecca, who stated the fee was due to not calling the phone number to inform when the van was turned in; resulting in a double rental charge. I explained that I wasn't told to call a phone number in which Rebecca argued stating that her team "always" informs customers of the return process. Rebecca refused to help and told me to contact u-haul's 800 number. I asked if she was able to connect me with u-haul and relay that her team had failed to relay the return process; which would then confirm that I should have not been charged double. Rebecca refused and when I asked for her name she chuckled and said "what are you trying to do, get us in trouble". By now, I'm furious and replied, "I'm trying to get your information so that I can know who to reference when speaking to u-haul call center! It's called providing facts!". Despite Zack's lack of communication (which isn't really a problem, we all make errors from time to time), if it wasn't for his kind and professional demeanor this review would be a zero; if that was an option. Also, after calling U-haul, as directed by Rebecca, I was told by U-haul that they could not do anything and that I'm to contact the facility. Such a cluster dump! I've never experienced such bad customer service (except for Zack) before. It took a bunch of back and forth before there was finally some type of resolution."Camilia S.

.79 a mile way too much only went 18 miles total because I ended up not needing the unit and they lied about how much gas was in the truck. Charged me $36 for 7 gallons of gas for 18 miles such a rip offKEVIN H.

When I called to make the inquiry about the truck I feel like the woman that answered the phone was snappy and rude. I'd give her a 4/10 for customer service. She can do better I'm sure. Improve her. First impressions are memorable. The location was extremely clean inside and out.ROSE J.

I rented a 26ft truck, it was really raggedy, when I reserved the truck I was quoted on the website $53.95, per the rep at the ofc, they wont show u the sales taxes being charged so one will know the true price of what need to be paid, then the truck was 2 notches over from a 1/4 a tank, I put $20 in and it was actually a 1/4 of tank exactly when I brought it back, the rep charged me $33.00 sum odd dollars for that small difference. When I called that morning, she was really rude and sarcastic as I'm trying to ask her legitimate questions. Last month I rented a trailer and was told a location to pick it up, once I got there wasting my gas, I had to drive back to a whole other location to actually get the trailer. So again, rep was sarcastic when she was responding to my question , overall my fee went from my thinking my price would be $53.95 + mileage to $163 sum odd dollars, I think the policy need to be updated so the customer will know exactly what they will be out of pocket on for expenses.Gloria W.

Clean the U-Haul as it smelled like smoke and the interior was completely nasty. I went through an entire box of Clorox wipes wiping everything down. The drivers seat had a big colored spot on it while the passengers away has burn marks on it. I had to smell the Smokey interior the entire 300 mile drive.LASHICA W.

At the moment of pick up, I noticed a bald tire on right front. This trailer was the only one to choose from. I was told that I would have to call the Uhaul's road side assistance. Which is a whole different part of Uhaul's business that needs help. I was very fortunate that I was not on the side of the road in a dangerous situation. The phone wait calling into Uhaul. And then the wait for roadside assistance. Then to find a faulty rear running light that roadside assistance could not repair. I do appreciate customer service giving me one extra day to turn it in.Alan H.

Make sure the prices online match the prices at the counter. The price online for mileage was .59 at the counter. 79 and the insurance was $10 and at the counter $14 although it is not a lot of money when you are on a tight budget as so many people are at this time it all adds up fast.
