I rented a 26ft truck, it was really raggedy, when I reserved the truck I was quoted on the website $53.95, per the rep at the ofc, they wont show u the sales taxes being charged so one will know the true price of what need to be paid, then the truck was 2 notches over from a 1/4 a tank, I put $20 in and it was actually a 1/4 of tank exactly when I brought it back, the rep charged me $33.00 sum odd dollars for that small difference. When I called that morning, she was really rude and sarcastic as I'm trying to ask her legitimate questions. Last month I rented a trailer and was told a location to pick it up, once I got there wasting my gas, I had to drive back to a whole other location to actually get the trailer. So again, rep was sarcastic when she was responding to my question , overall my fee went from my thinking my price would be $53.95 + mileage to $163 sum odd dollars, I think the policy need to be updated so the customer will know exactly what they will be out of pocket on for expenses.Gloria W.

Clean the U-Haul as it smelled like smoke and the interior was completely nasty. I went through an entire box of Clorox wipes wiping everything down. The drivers seat had a big colored spot on it while the passengers away has burn marks on it. I had to smell the Smokey interior the entire 300 mile drive.LASHICA W.
I requested 2 dozen furniture pads which turned out to only be 6 pads. Also the mobile check was ridiculous it took all most 40 minutes for me to be approved and check in. The over all process was just to long.Kourtnie K.

You can notify your customers of any fees being charged upon turning in keys. We were not made aware of the cleaning fee that we were charged and I feel this should be refunded to us because the U-Haul was in the same condition as when picked up.Glen S.

At the moment of pick up, I noticed a bald tire on right front. This trailer was the only one to choose from. I was told that I would have to call the Uhaul's road side assistance. Which is a whole different part of Uhaul's business that needs help. I was very fortunate that I was not on the side of the road in a dangerous situation. The phone wait calling into Uhaul. And then the wait for roadside assistance. Then to find a faulty rear running light that roadside assistance could not repair. I do appreciate customer service giving me one extra day to turn it in.Alan H.

Make sure the prices online match the prices at the counter. The price online for mileage was .59 at the counter. 79 and the insurance was $10 and at the counter $14 although it is not a lot of money when you are on a tight budget as so many people are at this time it all adds up fast. As a Uhaul repeat customer, I was appalled with the customer service experience, as well as the condition of the equipment. The R-turn signal was inoperable, and the unit was dirty. The customer service rep was not a nice person. Her demeanor showed she really didn't want to be there and when answering questions or helping us it felt as if we were bothering her. The next day when I called back to let her know we had some issues checking the truck back in she was rude or her tone in her voice was rude. I also had to call back a second time and still received the same bothered tone. No one knows the reason a person has to rent a truck whether it be something exciting or something that was tragic and to exhibit great customer service can make the difference in people's life. Being nice doesn't take much effort so in order for the company to get a rating of above average or excellent you would have to have excellent customer service and that is something this young lady didn't have at all.
