My only complaints: 1) The truck appears to have a mechanical problem, probably the transmission that causes the engine to rev up (disturbingly so) during deceleration. I alerted the staff to the problem. 2) Hard to adjust lateral position of side mirrors.David S.

Van was not swept and cleaned beforehand. I left it in better shape than I started just to avoid the service fee. With that said, I've used this place many times and this was an anomaly. Other times the vans have been incredibly clean. They also maintain their vans very well. I will still be coming back because this is a location I still trustLaura G.
There is no key drop box. How hard can that be to have one? So I returned to trick per text contract and went to uhaul.com/share. When thru all steps. Then there was no drop box. So now I have to drive back there and miss some work tmrw to get it back to them by noon. I asked about drop off after hours when I picked up, and he made a joke sorts out of it. And when it came time. I realized there really was no box even tho he advised me to return it after hours. And I followed all stores online.NICK P.

Very disappointed with the fuel situation. Only had a quarter tank of gas, which was enough to do the move but because I forgot to add gas 1-2 gallons (I only went 16 miles) I got chard 4 gallons fill-up and a $30 filling fee. I was charged a ridiculous fee of $52, for what should have been $8. I cannot recommend price gauging U-haul practices.John W.

The truck I reserved was not available so I had to use a smaller truck and do 2 runs - with paid help so the error cost me 70 bucks. The folks at aboy took $10 off my bill. The cab smelled and the interior was dirty and the inside of the windshield was smeared with finger prints.NATALIE JANE J.

Clean the U-haul between pick ups. It was filthy. Ground in the cab was caked with mud, steering wheel and center console were sticky and obviously had not been cleaned in awhile. Coffee had also been spilled in the console....I cleaned it all up myself with some lysol wipes but especially in the time of Covid this is unacceptable but would not have been acceptable prior either...it was gross! I was in a time crunch so did not go back inside just dealt with it. When I mentioned at return they barely acknowledged it. Also, the transmission sounded like it was grinding and was thankful my move was short.Amy K.

Unfortunately, there was only one person in the store who could process my rental pick-up which meant a long wait. No apology or simple I am sorry you had to wait was offered, customer service basics. The truck ended up with a flat tire. That caused a two hour delay to have the tire changed. Upon my request I was given a discount which was appreciated but again, no I am sorry for the inconvenience.APRIL MARIE D.

I put in gas to the equivalent of when I rented and was overcharged $30 more for fuel. I'm unsatisfied and will file a complaint unless my fuel is credited. I have a receipt and witness. Annoying and not a good use of my time to have to deal with this.Erin P.
They not only did not clean it. Seats were covered in animal hair. They would not even give me some tape so I could clean it myself. It smelled like wet dog. I feel the odometer was rigged. It turned over way to quickly for one mile at a time. Also they had starting miles listed 5 miles over what actual was. A-boy is in the rental business but they feel they don't have to clean the trucks or vans like a normal rental. Also they charged 3 times the milages. enterprise charged 25cents they charged 89 cents. total rip off.LISA M.

I have rented trucks a number of times just in this week and have had a really bad experiance loosing a lot of money to a scam on line and whilke trying to move everything i own by myself i end up being an hour 2 late but I get charged for an entire second day and the second day charge is higher then the fisrt day if I didn't have to got make sure the gas was full and swept it out while in the parking lot the time of the return is listed as whenthe guy finally got in the truck the check it out not when i had the truck back this is poor service and taking advantage of little things that most local places would see what I was trying to do and they would understand whats going on and not charge me for being a little late esp when we talked on the phone and they said just make sure its in before 6 they never said it needs to be in befor 2 or we are charging you for another day. this was sneaky and i will be filing a complaint to who I can about this. such a bummer I really liked going into your store but this is the second time this has happened the first time I had the guy talk to me so rude and treated me as if i was a homeless drug user that was there to steal stuff im shoked at the level judgement i get from the employees my guess is cause i have a few tattoos but my money has always been goodWyatt P.
