This location charged $50:00 to my card for cleaning when no trash was left on the truck. There was an old blanket on the truck when the truck was picked up. The blanket was not used, so why was my card charged $50.00? The $50.00 should be refunded and the mileage was also inflated. This business should be avoided.AKIN A.

The whole process was frustrating. I reserved a truck and tow dolly two weeks prior from a location (not this one) down the street from my house. The day before I was supposed to pick it up I was contacted and told that my order was split and to be picked up from two separate locations. Not a huge deal each location 10 minutes from my house in either direction. The location with the truck called me shortly after that to confirm and told me rather than my 8 AM pickup time I would have to pick it up at noon and that they had a truck for me. Also not a huge deal. The following day when I arrived at noon to pick up the truck they didn't actually have one. The U-Haul representative spent the next hour and a half calling around to different locations to try and get me the truck I had reserved two weeks prior from a different location mind you. His assistance to find a new truck was great, but also shouldn't of been needed seeing as we had already confirmed they had a truck and that my pick up time was at noon. Finally after the hour and a half of waiting he found a truck at the location I'm writing a review for. So I drove across town to pick up the Uhaul truck at this location. Upon arriving and entering the Uhaul representative at this location was irritated that I had shown up when she was getting ready to leave to go eat lunch and became very rude throughout the pickup process. Thankfully finally getting my truck only to have to drive another 20 minutes the other direction to get my tow dolly at yet another location. The whole process was ridiculous between reserving the equipment weeks prior, followed by splitting my order, then confirming a truck only to have it not actually there, to driving all over the place to get the equipment, and dealing with rude customer service/ Uhaul representatives.Tyrel K.

My reservation pick up location got moved last minute. When I got to the location the doors were locked to the building. Once we finally were assisted I pretty much had to make my reservation all over again. There was a $100 â€œholdâ€ that was also not previously mentioned when booking. When I went to drop the truck off it was brought to our attention that the trunk we were given was linked to a different persons reservation?? Overall not a good experience .Spencer P.

I just noticed I was charged to the use of their dolly and I did not and furthermore. Someone called me to ask when was I planning to return the truck. did not receive a call the night before that the trailer I reserved will not be available because the customer extended. Drove to three different Uhaul locations to finally get a truck took more than 3 hrs. The parking lot was a complete mess. It was not clear where we were to leave the truck. The sign on the door said they were open, but the door was locked. A lady finally came to the door and pointed where to park it. She said to just leave the key in the drop box and I didn't need to do anything else. But then I got an email about dropping off the truck and there was checkout things I was supposed to do. So I then spent 25 minutes on the phone with uHaul to get that taken care ofTimothy F.

Upon pick up, I was told to verify mileage in which I did. When I reach my destination there was a lock key on the back of truck, I was told by a person who runs the storage to find a uhaul store and get lock removed at my cost and milage.ciara H.

Van seems faulty for as really didn't want to accelerate, driver mirror kept coming down so it was hard to switch lanes and it was dirty and pricy. A discount would be great because we did report thisShaneice W.
The cargo area had not been swept: there was cereal, candy wrappers,and what appeared to be sand.There was no doilly to move the furniture,blankets,etc. The was debris behind the driver's seat(card board box,crayons,ink pen,a man's cap) .Tried to get the young lady to come out and see but she said that she did not work for uhaul and they would notify me if the was a problem. The Uhaul agent informed me that a hold would be placed on my charge catd for a 2day rental. I informed him that I only needed the truck for one day. He replied that the drop-off location would process the charge based on the number of days that I rented it. That was not the case. The pick up location in fact charged me for two days rental which I was not aware of until I dropped the truck off the next day at the drop-off site. I filed a complaint with Uhaul and it was referred to the drop-off site regional manager. The Uhaul drop off site regional complaint department manager informed me that the charge for 2 days would remain because that is the number of days that the pick up locale put in my contract rental. The drop off regional supervisor stated that although I had been misinformed by the pick up agent, Uhaul would still charge me for 2-days instead of the 1-day that I actually rented the truck and that I had no other recourse.Cindy J.

The so called manager was very unprofessional. She had customers waiting outside while she took her time to clean out the moving trucks! I called the location several times and she nonchalantly came to the office after about 5 mintues. This location is a joke and very unorganized. Hire more help and get rid of the jail glass. Lastly if your workers smoke maybe they should not smoke as much because she smelled like a tobacco shop.Erica H.

The cashier informed me that there was no more dollys to use because they were all stolen out of the trucks. Also there were no cloths to cover my glass n truck.this prolonged my moving experience.Semona R.
Don't try and have customers sign paperwork before they check out mileage and condition of truck rented! No doll's available at sight, even when reservation papers had noted a dolly was needed. Insurance rate given appeared to be higher than the other uhaul 3 trucks I rented this year!?Linda B.

My original pick up location was much closer to my home than this one was. I was originally given 188 miles allowance. I was told that 30 miles was added to my allowance, which would have brought it to 218 miles. I went 205 miles. I WAS CHARGED BY UHAUL AN ADDITIONAL 17 MILES OVER, YET I WAS UNDER THE 218! WHY? I went to U haul this morning and didn't check the mileage on the truck before I left, when I returned the store said I drove over 200 miles and charged my card for it. The girl that was working agreed with me and I showed her the gas receipt from the gas station next door to them to prove how much I put in gas to return it where it was when I rented. The manager came into the store and said sorry and sent me on my way, I am the Store Manager across the street at Cabinet To Go in Norfolk, VA I send customers over there all the time to rent trucks and vans to pick up their kitchen cabinets I will NEVER send another customer there and am very upset with the way this business transaction was handled.MAKESHA L.
