I would recommend as long as the friend knew this location is not manned 24 hrs a day. Be sure you understand how long you can keep the car/truck if you go over the estimated time on your application. Have them explain you rent and pay by the day even though they ask for the # of hrs. I dropped the car at night. No one was there but there was a drop box for the key. I initially got two extra days charged, and had to call UHaul to get it straightened out which they did to my satisfaction.

I loved the fact that I could go on a Sunday and pick up a truck myself using my cell phone even when no one was there. They have an excellent system for doing that. I really needed the truck and since none of the dealers were open this worked really well.

It’s office is a storage container and is only open for reservations. You have to call the person when you get there. I didn’t think it was a real location, just a storage lot. This added a lot of time and a few miles trying to figure that out.

First, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a UHaul representative when you call the 800-468-4285 listed on Google. I called several times over a 4 day period and each time had to wait over 45 minutes on hold before getting a live person who then transfers you another extension where you are on hold again for at least 30-40 minutes. Second, I returned the rental to the designated facility 11 hours after picking it up on a Saturday, even though my reservation gave me until Monday morning at 9:00am. I tried calling UHaul Saturday evening to make them aware I had returned it early and to notify them I had left a hand truck and blankets in the back of the truck which were not on the original reservation (I paid separately at P/U because UHaul originally said there would not be a handtruck or blankets available.). I was on hold for 37 minutes, then got disconnected. I called the drop off facility on Sunday morning and left a message that it had been returned and then called UHaul. After 41 minutes on hold and being transferred twice I spoke with Chris who took all of my information because the mobile app was not working. She was very pleasant and very thorough, and assured me that everything had been checked in and I should receive a email from UHaul within 48 hours with a zero balance. Yesterday (4 days later), I received an invoice from the drop off location indicating my credit card was charged for FOUR ADDITIONAL DAYS ($261.24), plus additional insurance and mileage. I tried calling the DropOff facility, but got an automated message that the mailbox was full. I then spent 3.5 hours trying to get through to someone at UHaul. I was on hold a total of 1 hour and 39 minutes, and when I did speak with someone I was on hold most of the 40 minutes I spoke with her as she tried to find out how to credit my charge card. I was then told the merchant had to process the credit and he would not be able to process the credit until Monday (4 days after the charge). I said that was not acceptable and then spent another 20 minutes on hold as they tried to find a supervisor that I requested to speak with. I never spoke with a supervisor and when the representative came on the line she argues with me that I owed $15.00 for an additional 15 miles! I told her that I had a photo of the odometer when I dropped off the truck and I had a photo of the gas gauge showing that instead of returning with a 1/2 tank of gas as required, I had returned the truck with over 3/4 of a tank. Another 10 minutes and finally they agreed to "refund the full charge of $261.24 in 3-5 days! I have rented 12 trucks in the last 15 months, 5 from UHaul and 7 through Penske - I NEVER had an issue like this. Customer Service at UHaul needs a MAJOR overhaul! I have a reservation for 9/9/2022 that I am in the process of securing a truck with another company - Penske - that offers free mileage, lower rates, and NO charges to my credit card without calling me first to discuss. I have never written a bad review, but this situation warranted such.

We were given an old truck for a 1200+ mile trip, the front driver tire had dry rot, it burned out, broke down, and every service person we encountered was appalled we were given the truck.

My experience with this location and the uhaul representative was great. Quick, easy, gave me some important tips for the road and double checked everything he possibly could for me. Hauled a 4x8 2300 miles clear plum across the United States of America and didn’t have a single issue. Even took it to a visit to the Grand Canyon and I was able to safely and comfortably navigate any condition we stumbled upon in the mountains on gravel roads. Will definitely return to this location when I’m in Tennessee and require UHaul

Terrible service - unattended location with a poorly written sign in the window to call Micheal, who didn't bother to answer his phone. A young child answered several times. Micheal should lose his franchise.

Rented a 26ft truck and appliance dolly when I picked up my truck it had no dolly in the back. Tried contacting owner and no response even left voice mail still no response and it has been a week. I would not recommend them I would rather drive out of my way before I rent from them again.

Get a service representative that answers the phone. I called "Michael" about 30 times with no response and his voicemail is full. Get new locks on the trailers or service/lubricate the ones you have. I had to swap trucks because we couldn't get the seized lock off the one we were supposed to use. We were here for an hour and a half all together trying to get the situation handled. At least the people using them are keeping them clean, I doubt they get maintained unless something happens. Zero stars isn't an option or I would have chosen that.

The truck was fine, the man that rented it to me was great but whoever had this vehicle before me did not clean it, it was filthy when I got into it an I left it that way now if I had gotten it dirty I would of cleaned it! I did say it was clean when I dropped it off because there was no options asking was it clean when you rented this just is it clean and ready for the next person so I said yes! I wasn’t getting charged for it being dirty when it looked that way when I got into it!!

The location and the dealer were quite pleasant. Sadly, our moving day was held up during Uhaul pickup more than we anticipated. This was due 100% to the fact that when I reserved the rental, Uhaul neglected to make it known that I would need to hand over an additional $100 for "deposit". The best I can tell, after the fact, this was because I used a debit type card to reserve. Although a couple weeks before, I had $167 taken by Uhaul for the rental, this appeared to not be sufficient. The dealer was also confused when we could not finalize the checkout and had to contact Uhaul directly for guidance. This fact left me feeling that Uhaul NEEDS to make sure their dealers are aware of processes and/or changes to those processes. Luckily I had $100 cash to hand over. I was told I would get my deposit back in the same manner I paid it....cash. That was NOT the case.

Office -a shipping container, was not open although online site said it was open hours. Phone numbers tracked to the same answering service which said mailbox is full. No return of several attempted calls. I had to download the app and do the return that way to have any confidence in the transaction. The AAA Pioneer is a creepy, isolated gravel lot, with a haphazard assortment of shipping containers and no facility other than the key return box on a pole. It looks like a place for a drug deal shoot out in a movie.

This was a HORRIBLE experience! I ordered the truck two weeks in advance. Along with an appliance dolly. I get there and he is 45 minutes late and DOESNT have the dolly. I have to pick up a dolly from another location which creates a new number and drop off location. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with moving. Hands down.

I having been waiting since I dropped off the Uhaul on March 20th to get my $100 deposit back! No one has called me and the guy is never at the drop off site! He doesn’t call back! Neither does the regional. I have used UHaul many many times and this is un called for! I am very very upset and unhappy with this and doubt I will use uhaul again.
