Great experience. Excellent service

The agent was out of the office at the time of receiving the truck.I called some numbers and he told me he was not aware of the rental and he blamed the system. He said the keys at the back of the truck and it is open but it was locked with combination key. I told him I rented a dolly too. He questioned why I need a dolly. He said that he is coming had to wait for him for 45 min to come back. When he arrived, he did not know the combination for the lock. He kept calling and after 30 min , he received the combination code. I spent with him like 20 min to unlock the lock. Many times I told him to cancel my rental because use I was too late to complete my job. This should never had happen. There was a very poor service provided to your returning customer. Bad agent and management. I'm requesting refund and apology.

The site advertised 24/7 drop off but had no instructions. Key box drop was not locked so key was not left. Had to return during normal business hours. Business was closed and on vacation so no staff available during even advertised open hours. Only phone contacts possible, and VMs were full so no messages could be left.

Got a call at 8 asking if I was still planning on getting my truck at 9 (when the location opens) When I said yes the response was and exhausted "ok" as if he didn't want to come in and rent it to me. Seemed like I was right because the store was closed at 9 and the man didn't show up until 9:25. He had a hard time figuring out how to rent me the truck but finally I got it. Good thing I took a picture of the odometer because I checked the contract later and saw that it said 100 miles LESS than what was the truth. Don't use them.

The owner isn’t around most of the time. There is a sign on the door to call. I had to stand outside in the cold for 40 mins for the owner to arrive and give me the key to the truck (I did the online process). Very unprofessional.

We live in Damascus so the location was easy to find and get to. The service was great and all our questions answered. A larger UHaul sign may be helpful for people out of town trying to find the store. Since we live here we knew where it was. Everything worked out great for us. The 15 foot truck was easy to operate and going with the larger size that had a ramp was well worth it.

The drop off site was not well mark so a little hard to see from the street. I went to the front door but it was locked and no one was in building. The owner had sign to call a couple numbers but no one answered I even left a voicemail. In the meantime called U-Haul customer service but they had no idea where the person was but was asked to drop off the keys in a orange U-Haul lock box. The lock box that I saw Was not marked U-Haul nor was it orange so did not drop the keys in it since I was not sure it was U-Haul drop Box. After 20 minutes the person came and unlocked the front door and I was able to drop off the uhaul. I was not impressed or happy

My ratings are not for AR Wireless. They are for my original pick up location. I had to drive 20 miles to this location (AR Wireless), because my original pick up location did not have a truck for me. They also claimed to not see my reservation on the computer, however U-Haul was able to find it immediately upon calling. This original location was: Toll House BP 503 W 7th St Frederick, MD 21701 (301) 898-7503 In addition, the U-Haul representatives on your 800 number were less than enthusiastic about helping me resolve this situation. I have rented from U-Haul many times over the years. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

I’ll be contacting you guys. Uhaul as a company are crooks and are a mess. Your phone reps tell me one thing and then do an exact opposite. Gave me wrong truck that I had to pick up from the wrong location and then don’t honor the price they told me over the phone. This is about to get ugly.

My drop off time was 9:00 am. I was at the drop off loacation at 8:55 am and the door was locked and lights were off. I figured the store didn’t open until 9:00 am so I waited for 20 minutes for someone to show up. I started the process to return the truck from my phone and the guy finally shows up. Turns out the trucks are parked across the street and you have to cross a busy road without a cross walk to get to the office. I joined the guy into the office because I figured I was supposed to sign something confirming the drop off. After sitting in silence in his hot and messy store for 15 minutes, I eventually asked if he needed me for anything and he said, “No your good to go”. Very unpleasant experience.

Because I asked the day of pickup for a smaller truck which was available and sitting in the lot I was charged over $1000 more than original quoted price!!! UHaul changed contract and I was stuck as I was moving out of state.

So the drop off process was fine, but the drop off location was poor. Reason being, it is on a main street and there is no parking lot. I had to parallel park a 26 foot truck on a main street. Luckily my drop off time was super early so there was a spot available and not much traffic otherwise it would have literally been impossible and super dangerous to boot. There is a gigantic shopping center (grocery store, etc) right behind this place, that is where the truck should be dropped off, and then take the key to the rinky dink place on the main street. It is a safety issue for one, plus, again, very likely there would not be a spot and then what? All and all, the online reservation, pickup, and drop off without a counter attendant was really pretty good (but for the location of the return would have been superb). However, the failure to place the equipment that we needed in the truck and the response made the move the worst we've ever done and a really bad and frustrating experience. I hope that someone from customer service reads this and uses this as a learning experience for your company. You can call me if you like: (301) 676-4032.

first I had to go 30 miles from where i made the reservation second the rate was over $500 more the estimate I got on u-haul.com with less amenities. third the rental agent screwed the whole reservation up because he could barely speak or understand English I will have to think of a different way if I ever need a truck again
