Let them know they need a second verification other than a drivers license. Also, stop advertising that it's only $19 to rent. It was over $100 for me when all said and done to have the truck for 2 hours. Just say the price it will be instead of baiting people.

When customer places order online be sure to give them the right key to right truck. If they call and let u know they will be 2 hours late that you are going to charge them for the whole day rental fee before you charge them and finally work the bugs out of the online service so check out/in can be completed without calling customer service. It would also be helpful to offer a call back if experiencing high call volume so customer isn't on hold. I was on hold for 38mins, 25mins, 17mins, and 18mins when I called. Overall it was a horrible experience plus moving on top of it.

There was nothing in the communication sent out prior to rental date that it was mandatory to have a uhaul account. But it would not accept my verification number until I created the account.

The Uhaul online (self-service) pick up and return service needs A LOT of improvement. It took an hour to pick up and 30 min to return. One of the problems I faced for pick up resulted from a lack of instructions on how to fix location services when my location wasn't being detected for the pick up. The fix isn't related to the "location services" or "privacy" on a phone. It relates to the internet settings. For an iPhone: go into "settings", "safari", "location'', "ask" or "allow". When returning the truck, the online return system didn't populate the sections that require uploaded pictures of the odometer, etc. It simply stated the steps that are required. I had to call the 800 number and have someone walk me through the process, where to not store the dolly, and keep back up pictures incase I needed to dispute anything. The phone call to pick up the truck took approx. 30 min to get through to the assistant whom could help and another 15-20 to upload multiple times the two forms of ids, the verification phone call, etc. The phone call to return the truck was answered quickly and the assistant was very professional and thorough.

I used the truck for 48 hrs (2 days). The rate was $20/day plus $0.29/mile. To date have not seen a final bill but received a call notifying me the bill was $188. Have yet to see detailed bill. 2x$20/day=$40, 160 miles x$0.29/mile=$46.9, insurance How does this add up to $188.00?

I had trouble with finding out how to rent without a representative on duty. The 1-800 reps were not familiar with the process either and left me on hold for long periods of time. This process took a couple of hours and then I was over billed. I rent uhaul trucks on a weekly basis and this was my worst experience yet for service.

The check in needs to be user freindly The program could not locate the location had to contact u-haul after trying to return the truck for 45 minutes. I was on hold for 40 minutes waiting on someone to answer at u-haul. This part of the process needs to be simplified so everyone is able to pull up download the information and leave
