The truck was fine the service was not. I was told that there was not a truck available at that location and was told to pick up 20 miles away. When I got to the new location, they were closed for pick up on Sunday. I called and was told to pick up at the original location. I was 2 hours picking up whereas it would have been only a 45 minute pick up. The website is confusing and hard to understand. Probably won't ever use Uhaul again.

The lady was very friendly when I dropped off the U-Haul I asked about a refund and told her about the difficulties with the truck and on the refund she says I'm sorry there is no refund even though I turned in the truck three days early I don't think that's fair that you actually charge everybody for days even if they only use it one day I'm sorry you need to change your policies and give me a refund

Location I was to return trailer to was not open. Waited 45 min ,called no response. Took trailer to above location. Person there reluctantly took trailer. Entire rental was not good experience. Not the fault of the facility that did accept the return.

Tell the customer where to find the truck number. Maybe most people know to look at the top right side, but we didn't. Had to go back in and ask where to find it. Overall we were pleased with the truck and the service.

The lady at the front desk is very friendly and explains things in a sense that makes you understand what you’re getting. Possibly a bigger lot with more options on vehicles would be sensible, but other than that the experience was great.

The location we picked up had no signal. It took almost an hour for us to get the Mobil pick up done. Then we got there about 10 minutes early and when ever we did have 1 bar of signal the app told us our account was under review. I called and was trying to get the vehicle and find out what’s going on and I got transferred back and forth 10 times. Nobody could help me. Not only that but I selected a location in Leeds that said what I needed was available which was very close to me. The next day my location changed to somewhere 30 minutes away from me. That made me have to pay more for this. I have a screen shot on my phone proving the location was available. I did live chat that day and the person on the chat told me that that different location was like a corporate office that they call me a day before to get the right location squared. So the next day arrives and I haven’t gotten a call yet so I decide to call. Nope my location is 30 minutes away where I didn’t want it and comes to find out the one I wanted wasn’t even in business. So why would y’all let me select a location that’s not even open? Driving 30 minutes away verse 10 minutes away makes us have to pay more and is extremely irritating. I will never use U-Haul again and have definitely alerted my friends and family to get my message out about this.

Over three rentals in a couple of weeks only place I had to unhook and move equipment while person sat behind the desk.

The first place I went was Victory Fuel on greenbrier rd in Anniston, al. They had the dollies but would not rent them. No one available knew how to fill out paperwork and could not speak English.

Only one attendant who constantly was answering other phone calls or dealing with other business during our checkin. Although we had completed the process on our phone, we still had to redo most of the rental at the site. They automatically added insurance without even asking... it was an unneeded expense as my car insurance fully covers me. We would have to delete the entire rental and start over to remove it and didn't have time to wait as she was really really slow. Feel we are unreasonably charged for mileage. There are 3 Uhaul locations within 10 miles of my house. We had to travel 35 miles to Pell City in order to get a truck but had to also pay that extra mileage... feel that mileage in that case should have been calculated from our closest Uhaul location. We will not be using Uhaul again... will wait for a sunny day and scrounge pickups instead. Really bad experience and a bad taste for Uhaul

The back of the truck was not swept before I rented it. There was a condiment container left on top of some debris and could've been seen if inspected. The truck had transmission issues and would not down shift properly. Overall, the truck was not suitable for long distances.

I was charged for a dolly that I never received or used and didn’t receive my money back.

There is limited cell service at this location, so I was not able to check my truck back in online. I had to take a picture of the truck being dropped off and take a picture of the contract when I returned it.

Young lady at the desk who checked us in was excellent. I have never rented before where the personnel from the business didn’t unhook the trailer for the renter or inspect the trailer upon drop off. We had to unhook it ourselves and had my husband not met me there, I would have insisted they do that. Other than that, the facilities were clean and the receptionist was very nice.

I made a reservation and completed Express Pick Up. My reservation was for 7:00am. Upon arrival, I found the store didn't open until 8:00am. The keys to the truck were in the "Go" box but no one communicated with me to tell me how to access the box to get the key. I had 4 guys waiting on me who I was paying $10/hour.

No wifi, and poor cell reception made it so that I almost couldn't pick up the truck using the 24/7 app. If you know you don't have cell reception, get some wifi!

Gas was not on half a tank when I got it like my paperwork said. Didn’t want to be charged for not putting it on a half of a tank when returning it so I put it on half a tank. Cost me about $15 more than it should have.

Customer over charged me for hand truck that wasn't what I for. I Ethiopia them know how far I was traveling and and put in a minimal amount of miles. I had to wait for hours to pick up the truck because no one was there when I arrived. I only had my moving help for a short time which cost me more.

The drop off location I originally selected when placing my reservation online did not actually do business with U-Haul. I called the 800-number to find out where to take my truck and was told that my reservation was canceled. It clearly was not because I had a 26 foot truck and no where to drop it off at. We finally found a place on our own.
