Overall, we are happy with Uhaul. However, I would of appreciated the inside of the truck to be as clean as explained that we should be leaving it. I bought detail wipes to make sure I didn't leave a mess. I wiped the seats, floor, dash, steering wheel, cupholders, etc. They were pretty gross. Considering I was only in the truck for around 1 hour of driving time, I figured it hadn't been appropriately cleaned before I received it. Also, a little difficult to find.brynn B.

It was my first experience and I had expected a better organized location. He seemed really busy. I do as a customer felt I should've read all the conditions better which was my fault. I'll do better. I was taken aback the amount of money I had to give just to go across the city which left me having to scrounge for gas money for the u haul. I was worried I wasn't going to get some of my money back but thanks to him for giving me a good amount of refund back.Janelle S.
Because an in town truck wasn't available I had to travel to a different city to get a truck and pay triple the amount as I was forced to pay for a one way. Every experience with this company has been extremely negative. The next time I move I will definitely be looking for other options.Leah U.

I booked a truck and they call me that I can have for 24 Hrs that I need it to returned at 8:00am I told them that it didn't work for me, so, the lady offer me a Van. Later on the day I received a message that the van needs to be returned at 8:00am, I pick it up a noon. this is a way to scam. I rent it a truck 20" from the location on 51 St, I pick it up after 5:00pm and I have for 24 hours and It was cheaper than the Van. I don't recommend this location, he put the charge as cleaning and the van was perfect.Carolina M.
The app should tell us what % the fuel needs to return with when we start the dropoff process. I had to guess from memory what it was because I couldn't figure out how to see the pic I took of the fuel during the pickup process.Rumi M.
Horriffic experience!!! Never return a rented truck when no employee is present there because they are crooks, will accuse you of stealing when you have picture proof showing that everything was dropped. I rented a u-haul truck and a dolly; returned everything and clicked picture showing dolly was inside the truck. Still they accused me that dolly wasn't returned and charged me $105. Worst experience ever. Will never go back to them.Jagjeet K.
It feels rather sketchy to have a line of customers at the top of a steep flight of stairs, including the fact there is a sign on the door stating 'keep closed - fire door'. A non responsive point of sale adds to the experience.Geoff W.

Zero customer service experience, even though I didn't sign up for customer service. The truck was perfect for what I needed, I am 100% happy with the equipment. However, when I booked the truck I chose a no contact pickup, and when I arrived I started getting broken and slang English texts to come into the location, even though I had an email explaining how to obtain the truck via the online no contact process. The location is filthy. I met with a man who proceeded to tell me all of the things he would charge me for if I didn't follow his instructions to take pictures of the milage and fuel to text him before I left and after I dropped off the truck, which took way longer than I cared for. When I booked the truck online I gave my credit card information for the deposit and billing, however it was insisted that I do it again on location by interac. The interac machine was not working however, so it became unimportant for me to do the deposit again. Why frustrate a customer with an unnecessary charge? All in all I accomplish my move with the truck without incident thanks to U-Haul. If the location was clean and the service was friendly I would 5 star this location. However, I would give it a 1 star with an *equipment is reliable note.SHERRY L.

Location is not clearly marked. There are signs stating to not come upstairs but you have to go upstairs to pay. Horrible communication including text messages asking when I plan on arriving and if I want insurance even though it was already added to my online order. Then I had to send a picture of the mileage to the text line (?). Vehicle had less than a half tank of gas when picked up and the tire gauge sensors were going off all the time. It was supposed to be an easy pickup all through the online account. But it deleted the drivers license I had already added and the agent had me log out of my account so he could fix whatever the issue was. Never did ask for my drivers license after that. Also no mention of needing a deposit anywhere online but I was charged one at pickup.Maria F.

The van was not in good working order. Left turn signal was T working and engine light was on. I returned the van early before completing my move because of this and had to complete my move with only my truck. Very unhappy.Kimberly T.
The actual pick up was fine, but the communication before hand was very strange. I received multiple emails with different pick up times, and texts from a number not associated with UHaul at all. I think it is unprofessional and feels inappropriate to use another phone number to contact my personal phone, since I gave that to UHaul trusting it would not be given out. I realize that it was the same person, but then that phone number needs to be on the site. I was also very confused about when my pick up initially changed to this location because it also changed my pick up date and drop off date, after we had already had to call twice to change the drop off date.Michael B.
I had some difficulty finding the location but the entire experience from booking online, to verifying my documents, to picking up the vehicle (the U-haul staff/gentleman on-location was very helpful) and then finally dropping it off, was absolutely seamless. This guy was absolutely 100% lost in space. He's fucking calling me and texting me non stop while I'm sleepinh in bed, telling me not to be late for my appointment the next fucking day. Then texting me while on my way to the appointment telling me to not be late or I'll be charged extra. Then when I do arrive 10 minutes early he has me waiting around for 40 minutes because he doesn't have his shit together. Then he charges me $20 for an after hours service fee and doesn't return my calls to explain what the fuck it is. Even though I returned the rental 5 hours early. This fucking guys last appointment is 12:45 in the afternoon.Daniel P.

Previous reviews had me questioning, but I actually had a real positive experience. They added an additional 24hrs for free, and up to 48hrs extra if I needed it. Truck was easy to get to, owner was easy to get ahold of and got ahold of me to make sure everything was set up for me. No issues other than a little confusion with online check-in.Brett M.

The guy running this location was very rude. I called at 9:30pm because there was a problem with the fuel gauge. He had answered the phone, I told him there was a problem with the fuel gauge and he told me that they were closed and hung up on me. Not impressed.Raelynne K.

Customer service was bad. I was threatened by the service provider to cancel or transfer my pick up for 15/ 20 minutes delay in picking the truck up. Location was hard to find.Souvenir M.
The steering was a little questionable at times. It also was not good on ice. But an asset would be to add some type of non slip to the truck and ramp. My husband slipped and a solid would desk fell on his chest!trina S.

The location was extremely unprofessional. The store was unmarked with no signage for the food store (closed) or uhaul, which made it very hard to find. Cardboard signs directed you to go to an unmarked back door where you had to text a number and then wait 15 minutes for him to bring your keys. Texts from agent had poor English and were hard to understand but when you called the number he told you to text and hung up.Raymond D.

Please install good tires. I am not sure if they are winter or all seasons tire by the handling of the care was too difficult. The car slid a lot and I was lucky that I didn't fall in an accident due to severe weather conditions on the date I used the car.Hesamedin K.
