The attendant never came out from her building to talk to me about the features of the truck, like where to find the gas tank, etc. The service was nothing more than "here's the key, don't bother me." On return, I tried calling the store from the gas station to find out where the gas tank was. No one answered. I tried calling the general UHaul number and a recording told me that there was a 50-minute wait to be helped. I found the plate for the gas tank. Then I luckily stumbled on finding the way to open the plate. When I got to the store no one was there. They had a sign that said I needed to put the key in a metal box mounted on the door or I would be charged $30.. The key was a modern key that was too large for the narrow slot to fit . The general UHaul number again told me there was a 50 minute wait. I was frantic. Luckily, about 20 minutes later, a friend of the owner walked over and opened the door. Never again!Joseph M.
First of all: THERE ARE NO U-HAUL TRAILERS AVAILABLE FOR ONE-WAY RENTAL IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! I HAD A RESERVATION FOR A 5X8 TRAILER AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME TO TELL ME WHERE TO PICK IT UP 2 DAYS BEFORE I WAS SCHEDULED TO DRIVE BACK TO MY HOME (NOT IN CA). THEY DID CALL 4 DAYS BEFORE AND INFORMED ME THAT THERE WERE NO TRAILERS OF ANY SIZE FOR ME...TOO BAD! I COULD HAVE RENTED THE TRAILER IN MY HOME STATE, PULLED IT TO LA, CA, KEPT IT FOR 2 WEEKS THERE PAYING A DAILY FEE AND BROUGHT IT BACK TO MY HOME FOR LESS COST THAN RENTING 1 WAY...IF THEY HAD TOLD ME IN ADVANCE THAT THERE WOULD BE NOTHING AVAILABLE!!! I ENDED UP HAVING TO RENT A TRUCK AT MORE THAT TWICE THE TRAILER COST. Regarding this pick up location: I arrived at the agreed to time to pick it up but the sign on the door said "Closed". I knocked and got no response. Finally someone walked by the door and I asked for help. She asked my name, disappeared through another door and a couple minutes later came back . She opened the screen door slightly and handed me a key and told me I could take the truck. I asked for the paperwork and she said there was none. I asked if previous damage was noted anywhere and she told me I could check the truck. I checked the truck and took pictures of each damaged area and we left.Stephen C.

Uhaul changed my originally scheduled pickup from another location because drop off time was not compatible. In the process they changed my request for a box truck into a van, and deleted my insurance. Yanceys was acommodating, though, and I was able to change it back to a truck and add the insurance again. Everyone I spoke to were cordial. This location does not check the truck at the time of pick up and drop off, so you will have to go through taking pictures on Uhaul.com yourself.CHUYOUNG S.

I reserved a truck for mobile pickup at 9am. I even have the email that shows I was guaranteed a truck by 9am. When I arrived ahead of time, and tried to pick up my truck, it told me that I would have to do in-person pickup at 9:30am because this location did not set things up for mobile pickup and did not think to contact me about the change.KALEB K.
I would recommend because I am renting a UHAUL and not paying for a fancy experience. The lady who got me the truck was nice, but I actually think they lived in the little building where trucks are stored.Hollie V.

I would avoid this U-Haul Dealer. I normally use a Dealer near my home but they were out of what I needed. Arrived to pick up a trailer at this Dealer and was told by a VERY CONDESCENDING woman wearing a mask that you could not understand that there was no one available to help me and I'd have to wait 45-50 minutes for that person to return. She also wanted to carry on all business behind a locked Security Door on her building. I found two Trailers and after measuring both found one several inches longer and in MUCH better condition. I asked if I could use that Trailer and the woman said NO, that trailer was for one way and the terribly beat up Trailer was used only for Local. Not understanding this logic and being on a very tight schedule I managed to get the crappy trailer hooked up MYSELF and left, and just prior to leaving was told there would not be anyone at the yard to accept the trailer the next day but the gate would be open. I returned the Trailer the next day and after being careful to get the trailer in basically the same place I picked it up from, nice and straight and leaving plenty of room between vehicles on either side. I unhooked the trailer completely and was just about ready to leave and the woman (who said she wasn't going to be there...) suddenly appears from her little house and tells me "no you need to move it over there", pointing to the other side of what I believe was her personal car parked in the Trailer storage area. I got pretty ticked off and left. I was given NO paperwork or receipts for the rental. If I could give them ZERO Stars, I would. I won't do business with them again.Andrew G.

The trucks blocked the entrance and it wasn't clear where the door was. The pavement was uneven that I almost fell and I had an appointment to return the truck at 8 but it didn't open until 1030. There should have been more direction on how to return online. Called and was transferred to corporate on how to, but would have been easier since I was ready to return the truck the night before. The lady who checked me in was rood and not helpful at all. When she asked for an alternative number I said 310...She raised her voice and said ALTERNATIVE NUMBER. I said it is but it's the same area code. Then the truck was wedged between 2 others. I asked if they would pull it out for me and she said we don't do that. I asked if the truck was sanitized and then she blew me off and walked back into her office. If I didn't need the truck for work I would have walked away right there. Start with the extra equipment I purchased. It was not in the truck nor mentioned it given to me. I had to turn around 3 miles away and drive back to get it. This added 6 miles to my bill (that were never taken off). Then, upon returning, the agent had no idea what I was coming back for. I showed the agent my reservation number, picked up my extras, and finally got back on the road. The exterior of the truck had scuffs and scrapes that i photographed before taking the truck on the road, since there were no 'x' stickers on them i was worried i might be blamed and charged. I wasn't charged, but all peace of mind had already gone out the window.Clinton A.
First, the check engine light was on when I got the vehicle. It ran ok, but the brakes were nearly shot, which is scary in a 26 foot truck. The truck was physically in very poor condition. The interior had pieces of the ceiling falling off and everything was loose and old. This truck looks its age at 162,000 miles. Even though the truck was returned in better condition than when I took possession of it (I had to clean dirt off of the dash and steering wheel and there was garbage in the cab) I was still charged with a $25 cleaning fee after I returned it. As this was a contactless return, I was not told about this fee; it just showed up on my receipt. This is just a ridiculous attempt to extort $25 from customers. Hey, keep the $25. This location is perfect for me to rent from as it is close to where I live, however, I won't be using this location again. Taking $25 from me just cost you a lot of future business.KRISTOFFER L.

I reserved a 17â€ truck a week in advance, when I arrived they did not have the truck, and she was extremely rude about it, basically telling me to go elsewhere, I told her that uhaul said the reservation is guaranteed or $50, she did not care, telling she doesn't know who will give me that promise, she offered me a smaller truck, I took it as I didn't have any options as I had an appointment to move my stuff at 11am, and no other uhaul had a truck available at that time same day. I reserved the truck for 6 hours, but she said she will not rent it to me unless I bring it back within 3 hours or she will charge me a $50 penalty, I took it only because I had no other option and had to rush and pay for extra help to move my stuff on time. I will never refer this location to anyone, as the agent was EXTREMELY rude and not helpful.MOISES C.
I dropped off after closing, when it was getting dark. The UHaul dealer was closed. The neighbor business owner, Yanceys was very unreasonable, insulting and agressive. I feared for my safety in the dark, unfamiliar environment. Yancey was upset because I drove in the parking lot, and rolled over what looked like mud on the lot. There were two cones and on a very large area and I was careful to avoid them. Apparently, I rolled on some fresh-laid concrete. There was no signs or yellow tape for warning. Yancey and later his friend or co worker were very insulting and intimidating. I offered to cooperate in any way and did. Mostly I followed the directions of the UHaul lady. The U Haul person was fine and tried to help despite being closed and just after hours. Bottom line: Uhaul -good. Yancey's -terrible! Not a good neighbor for your business!Louie C.

There were another pot holes in the parking lot. When I asked the gentleman inside a question, he was too drunk to form a simple sentence to help me. The company is on a major street and there's no parking on the premises. If you ark across the street, your car may get towed.kali B.
Another customer satisfied... NOT REALLY! .... I arrived early in the morning, at 7:30 to collect the vehicle that corresponded to us through **U-Haul Truck Share 24/7**, apparently the link that U-Haul sent did not recognize my cell phone location, it continually showed an error that did not let me advance to get the code to open the lock. (ERROR: another application is overwriting your location, correct the error and try again.) After verifying with T-MOBILE that my cell phone did not have any location problems, I called U-Haul customer service, 15 minutes later finally someone answered, your customer service representative could not solve anything, she said that she was going to find out if another location have a truck for us, she put me in hold, but after 21 minutes of waiting I got a call, it was the crew that were waiting for me, I had to answer and apologize to them for my delay. BTW, the customer service line had a terrible static sound, everything was choppy, and it was not my cell phone because I made other calls with a very good signal and very clear while I waited until 9:30 for this place to open. In conclusion, if you are promoting this digital platform nationwide **U-Haul Truck Share 24/7**, you should have 24/7 technicians who can solve problems like these in a matter of minutes. It is useless to offer technology without having a solid backing! *Check this out, the fuel tank was almost empty!adrian p G.

We were completely given the wrong mileage. About 80 miles were added onto our contract when we drove literally, down the street. Was charged $87 just for mileage alone instead of what should have been only about $7. The place itself is not well maintained and on top of that full of potholes. I see now this location has many complaints about the woman who runs this location and u haul has done nothing about it and continue to let this woman rip people off.Michael E.

Charged for Cleaning which was not part of the contract, Gas which was above the required gauge, and a furniture dolly i did not receive. The customer service was poor and very unhelpful. Did not do an inspection of the equipment after the truck was dropped off before the required return time. The physical location is average. It's a caged shack in a lot with a very nice lady in the office. There should be an excellent rating to check for her. I believe her name is Delia. If you need to lift a heavy trailer tongue and move it out of a tight spot to hook up you can't expect her to lift with you though. Check the tires. The trailer tires are rated at 65 PSI but the left rear had 35 PSI and the other 3 had 50 PSI. There is no air pump on site but I have one. The trailer lights worked and it was clean and undamaged. Pickup and return went very smoothly as far as the paperwork was concerned. The 6x12 cargo trailer is very popular so order it early. I tried to reserve one a week prior near LAX and had to drive 12 miles to this location to get it. The other dozen closer rental locations were booked over a week out. Delia is a very nice person to deal with and made it a pleasant experience. She even noticed I was being charged for 3 days when I only needed it for 2 and fixed the bill on the spot. Good job. Charged $80 for not returning a dolly. Charge is still present on credit card bill 15 days later despite assurance there was a mistake on their end for not properly checking van. Personal video and photos are recommended because one cannot rely on app nor trustworthy location. Otherwise, van was okay and did the job. Horrible experience. The owner of the place was on a lunch when I went to drop off the keys. The box to drop the keys were too small and won't fit the key that was given to me. I had to make a 2nd trip for that. The road inside the parking lot is horrible drive. Now they charged me $25 for cleaning? For what?Omer M.
I made a reservation and rental purchase online; however, when arriving at the pick-up location for my U-Haul the lady stated that I had no reservation and that I might have to pay again. I double checked with U-Haul customer service, and showed my confirmation via email, yet the owner didn't seem to understand or care. The U-Haul itself had 4 warning lights on (1. Tire pressure, Engine Light, Loose Gas Pump warning, and towing light on). I stated my concerns as well as same concerns to the drop-off location. I would not recommend this place as well as be cautious on which U-Haul vehicle you are provided.Daniel W.

I will not even encourage the next customer to rent here. They are dubious. I am a regular customer here for the past 5 months - I rent twice every month. They charge me $25 for cleaning a truck that did not need cleaning 2 consecutive weeks without notifying me, without any pictures to prove the charges. I was so surprised when i finally noticed it on the receipt. Any business without integrity will not have me as a customer.Adekunle A.

I not clear about the final billing. This is not transparent. Just last week when we rented the van to go to the same place and many in between I was charged $91.68.
