Returned the truck as it was given to me. It was snowing so we hand to walk-in to clean any debris and therefore a few shoe prints from the snow and the owner of the gas station said I still h e to pay a $28 cleaning fee for walking in with wet shoes - how was I supposed to clean it! He was absolutely arrogant and adamant. Absolutely rude and disgraceful customer service and a disgrace to U-haul. I showed him that the tank was not full as I had to fill 4,5 gallons for 21 miles of usage and he laughed and stated that well the tank was full to us. The lie and cheat U-haul customers. This location is horrible and did not pick it but had to drive 12 miles â€œwhich U-haulâ€ charged me because they changed my original reservation and could not accommodate my original request which I booked on the 2nd Nov. absolutely disappointing.Newyne S.

I feel like the charge was too high for the service we got, as well as the van we rented was a piece of junk. It did not feel safe going down the highway. we only had the van for about 8 hours and counting gas and rental we paid almost $400.00 I feel like that was way too much. The young boy when I went the first time was nice, but the older guy when I returned was rude. I won't recommend U-Haul to anyone except as a last resort.patrick K.
Tow dolly had major malfunction, could not remove straps from pulley. The guys working there tried hard to help, but were unable to fix it on their own. No other tow dollys in the Denver metro area. I would not recommend it, I thought that they have hidden charges in other facilities, they explain all the costs of the truck to you well and with these gentlemen I did not rent it for two days from the beginning and they never digested the delivery time and they made me charge a lot so I would not recommend them more with my friends thanks for the bad serviceJorge V.

HORRIBLE customer service experience!!! We have always used Uhaul and did not think anything would be different due to the location of it. Our Aunt and Uncle did warn us NOT to go here as this place is shady and will rip you off if given the chance. Long story short... we booked the night before, upon arrival we were told the items he did not have even though they were literally sitting right in front of us. He then said he did not say he didn't have them, he said he did not have ONE of the items (yeah...okay), anyway... he then went on to charge us even MORE than the original amount even WITHOUT one of the items lolol. He proceeded to try and tell us taxes and fees blah blah blah (I don't think so pal) we didn't let that happen and stood our ground to which he final still made his ridiculous money's worth, but whatever it was the amount minus the item that it should of been. Went to get what we came for and OMG lolol it wasn't even chained down, locked, protect etc... he didn't even inspect it... didn't even come out when we took it or even when we brought it back... we will NEVER EVER EVER go to Y MART again for Uhaul - and will really contemplate using Uhaul for our needs after this experience. We do not complain about really anything, but we felt people should know about this so they do not make the same mistake we did.WESLEY S.

I wasn't real happy that the agent took a picture of my ID on his phone in order to put it on the computer. The windshield was covered with bugs that I had to remove before starting our journey. A 75 year old man has no business on a ladder doing a job that should have been done in the first place. There was a small bottle of hand sanitizer on the dash that had leaked all over the place. He didn't even do a walk around the vehicle. He just pointed out the window and said there it is.Thomas R.

Waited a fairly long time for hookup. Finally hooked up trailer myself. Electrical extension had exposed conductors, but worked. Rep said that if it works its OK. Finally went to the self-storage facility (7540 York St, Denver, CO 80229), we made a reservation in 722057-00110879. The storage space reserved was 7.25' x 14' x 6.5' Vanbody. Once we got to the location, the man behind the desk, Paul V, told us that they can't store an untagged car and it'll be stored in a junkyard. Even though we have proof of ownership of this vehicle, we couldn't store it anyway which made things even harder for us. This leads us to the tow dolly situation. These tow dollys are not safe to use on cars. We towed a vehicle from Texas to Colorado because it was not drivable. We made reassurance that it was installed correctly due to recent experience with them and read the instructions just to be safe. The car somehow slipped off and rolled into another car (mine) in the MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. Luckily no one got hurt and the bumpers on two cars are slightly damaged. HOWEVER, we had to call a different company to tow the vehicle for only 1.5 miles which cost us $150 dollars additionally. We are VERY UPSET how this turned out. UHAUL should be held responsible and inspect these trailers more thoroughly. Furthermore on top of that, I just turned in the truck yesterday and received an email receipt. I do not accept the charges on Fuel Charge. We paid 70 buck to fill 1/2 a tank of gas. This is unacceptable.Tae K.
The pumps at this gas station are all not working. It's not a big deal but it would be much more convenient to fill up and drop off at the same spot. Also it's the gas stations fault not Uhaul.Tyler B.
The most dosgusting uhaul I've ever driven. It had never been cleaned. There was dog hair all over the seats. The steering wheel was sticky and had mud on it. The drivers door was full of trash and spilled soda. The cup holders were grimy and sticky. I began to get itchy while driving this uhaul and come to find out I was getting bit by some small bugs living in the seats. NASTY!! Wouldn't happen if it was cleaned and vacuumed. But cleaning was absolutely last on the workers priority list. I will do everything I can to never use Uhaul again after this experienceKaitlin T.

This is a quick serve gas station with Uhaul. Not attractive at all with a dirt lot in back for the trailers. The employee was informative and had me do the parking of the trailer. He was running the store as well as my trailer drop off. Everything was taken care of electronically on his cell phone. Just very little communication from the employee.Bruce K.
The cleanliness of the cab of the truck was awful. It was dirty, stained, covered in what I assume was dog hair, and smelled like a combination of cigarettes and wet dog. The smell was so bad I had to drive with the windows down even on the highway. Luckily I only needed it for a few hours. If I had needed it longer I would have had to just figure something else out. The smell even made my allergies and asthma act up. On the positive side, the truck itself worked fine for what I needed it for and the cashier seemed friendly enough.Alejandro G.

When I go to pick up a rental, I expect it to be the same price as my reservation which it was not. I also was in the middle of returning the truck when they stopped checking me in to wait on another customer. I have my doubts that I will use uhaul ever again. The representative also stated that I will get a refund of what I paid and will get billed a different amount since I went over the estimated miles. Why can't I just pay the difference? This makes no sense. If I need to rent another rental in the future, I will go to Herrz Penske. You have lost me as a customer. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable.James B.

I have been charged twice for the same u haul. I paid for the gas for 5 gallons and I drove 12 miles. Which either means that the vehicle gets less than 3 miles to the gallon which it shouldn't or I paid for someone else's gas meaning that the vehicle wasn't topped off.Ryan W.

the Uhaul return would not work. It kept saying it could not find my location(to make sure i was returning the truck to the correct place) and kept saying i had to let safari have access but i did and have photos showing i followed the instructions. I tried to return it via mobile for an hour almost and still it wouldn't work. Uhaul charges extra for not returning it properly but if their app isn't working correctly, it seems unfair to be charged. I took photos of the truck and mileage and even screen shots proving i followed instructions.Emily K.

Once again the truck reserved over a week prior was not available at the reserved time. This affected the help we had set up and some could not adjust their schedule accordingly. So we lost half of our moving help. Of course the attitude of Uhaul that goes with it is that it's not our fault and there is nothing we can do about it and that is absolutely bull. in cases like that a person that has a reservation and is inconvenienced should be compensated in some manner but Uhaul's attitude is to bad. Awful service and I will look elsewhere in the future.Mark S.

Location is at a convenience store/has station. The normal cashier was the U-haul attendant as well, so their time is split between the store customers and the U-haul customers. I had to wait a bit during the pickup process, but was not inconvenienced. Just something for others to know. Have a bit of patience and all is well. They were very friendly and easy to deal with.
