The trailer is was fine and worked well however the outside wrap is cracked and peeling which makes it look really shabby.

See my comments above. Both locations were very friendly and helpful and the equipment was clean and in great working order. Thanks for getting me across Canada! Just honour a reservation when someone makes one well in advance. Otherwise, great job!

MIDHUN MMaybe don't book the next rental at the time that the current one is due back. This doesn't leave any time for unforseen circumstances, which often occur. A little buffer in between might be wise.
Adam MI had a flat tire on my truck on Sunday morning and was unable to get a tire for it until Monday. I was able to drop off the trailer when I replaced my tire. ¡Gracias!
Damian MMike who owns the Port Hastings Uhaul location is extremely knowledgeable, and Friendly. He will go out of his way to ensure that you have a great experience. I have recently rented here twice and have another rental at the end of the month. If you are ever in the Port Hastings/Port Hawkesbury NS area, and are in need of a truck or trailer, I would highly recommend renting from here.

Anthony bThis location was extremely helpful when a staff of UHaul at the Antigonish location would not help us. We booked a 12 day rental 6 weeks prior to needing the truck and the staff knew we needed a Sunday pick-up. We booked the truck to support our bike program as a non-profit. On the Saturday (day before pick-up), they called and said that we would not be able to pick it up on Sunday as they were closed and could not ask the pick-up location to open on a weekend. They only offered a Monday pick-up (when our program was starting). They were NOT helpful and said we could try to get to the Port Hastings location in the next 20 minutes as they were also closing. This location was 4 hours away from me. I asked for his phone number and told him the situation. They told me about 24/7 Truck Sharing and he was able to get us the truck in time. Once we started working with the Post Hastings location, everything was smooth!

VERN KI rented for a five hour drive and had no air conditioning (not working - or "not charged" as I was told). The truck was in need of an alignment job and was uncomfortable to drive because of this (truck felt unsafe and was pulling to one side). It was clean, but reeked of a bad smelling disinfectant the whole ride. Owner was friendly, but would not cut me a bit of a break (because of the no a/c). I wasn't happy with that.

Dan MMy only complaint is that the passenger seat in the rental truck had something sticky all over it. The seat had to be cleaned before it could be sat on. Perhaps in the future, consiederation could be given to installing driver's side seats with lumbar support? Long days in the existing seats are hard on the back.

Although I definitely chose not to take the insurance coverage and have confirmation when my reservation was done U-Haul automatically added it and I was charged an extra $225 dollars on my final invoice. Still fighting with them to try to get reimbursed. NOTE TO EVERYONE. CHECK YOUR CONTRACT WHEN PICKING UP THE VEHICLE!!!! SINCE THEY WILL TRY TO SLIDE THIS IN EVEN WHEN NOT REQUESTED!!!
