This was one of those drop offs where there is often no staff there, but not an issue. Pull through with no backing, just drop and go. Helpful staff on the phone for what to do. Clear drop off instructions.

I was an hour and a half in the morning trying to get the key out of the lock box, I was given the wrong combination for the wrong box, the key that was in the box was for a 10 ft. Truck and I had reservations for a 26ft. So I was late starting my job .

No one at drop off site! Reached a person by phone who suggested I just disconnect the trailer and leave it. Being an elderly person with physical limitations, this was a problem. Trailer was on a slight incline . It tried to roll away!

if someone has made a reservation a week in advanced and something is wrong with it do not wait untill less than 24 hour to call them. the location i then had to go to the guy didnt even show up until 9:15. tried to ask why i was getting the price i was getting with so many miles. i had told him i was in a crunch for time as he got there late and yet i still left at 9:50. the whole over all experience was terrible. i always use uhal and after this last experience i do not think i will be using you all again.

It would have been nice to know that this was a self storage lot and not necessarily a proper U-Haul facility. It would also have been nice to have some instructions on how to process the vehicle upon arrival since there was no one there to help out.

I had trouble with the express check-in at 8:30 a.m. . I tried to contact Brad, the manager of the location to no avail. I was finally able to get through to customer service who was able to walk me through the pickup. Brad never returned my call and I left there at 9:30 , so he never showed to help me at all, even when the shop was supposed to be open. It was the most frustrating experience that could have been handled with a phone call or text.

Make sure that the place you send someone to to pick up a trailer has internet capability so it does not take over an hour to get the contract done. Had to wait well over an hour to get everything processed, and I was the only one there to pick up something. had to drive 50 round trip miles to pick it up when there were several U Haul places much closer..

Brad was so accommodating. He was there within 5 minutes of my call. He is not there all day every day as it is just a tiny office attached to storage units business but if you call, he'll be there quickly. In and out with truck in 10 minutes or less. Made sure I understood everything as I was driving the truck. Great experience. Highly recommend!

The location itself was excellent, however the U-Haul experience, particularly the U-Haul reservation system is poor. The truck I reserved was not at the location that I was told. Etc... terrible!

The app is nice, but it can be a bit confusing when it comes to pickup times. I wasnt aware that my pickup option would be cancelled if i arrived later then expected. Also, the app needs to note or recognize when you are working in the app during a night time hour. They expect all these pictures, but in certain scenarios at night you wont be able to take the shot, or the shot may turn out looking awful.

Received call stating truck was late being dropped off, it was actually a day early. I was directed by Uhaul to call them directly which I did a couple of times, never returned my call.

Office was at the back of a storage unit complex, but there were NO signs directing you where the office was. Office closed at 4:30PM, no signs posted with office hours.

Remove the signage from in front of the house and mark where to go for the office. The house is a residence with the office no where in site, mark it as such!

No one was not present on site when we arrived. Had called to get directions and told that when we arrived we would probably have to wait for someone to return. Waited about 20 minutes then called to let them know were were waiting for their return. Was asked if we would just disconnect trailer and leave it. We could not do so. In about ten minutes, staff person arrived.

The customer service at my pickup location went above and beyond, as I did not have a ride the mile-and-a-half, to pick up the U-Haul truck that I was renting. So the gentleman that was working that day came in his personal vehicle to pick me up and take me back to the U-Haul rental agency.

***This isn’t directed at Woodstock Self Storage*** How is it that someone makes a reservation, gets a phone call 30 mins prior to the reservation stating the reservation isn’t available, and has to go an additional 30 miles out of their way, get a more expensive product, and has zero attempt by the company to charge them the same price? U-Haul decided they’d just not honor the reservation for a cargo van. No attempt to keep the price the same for whatever alternative they had, take it or leave it. Tried calling a few different locations and every employee I spoke to was obviously annoyed they had to deal with someone over the phone on a Sunday. Apparently people don’t move on sundays, am I right? On top of that, you don’t call Brad from Woodstock, let him know he’s got a customer waiting. This customer is obviously upset because YOU CANNOT FULFILL YOUR RESERVATIONS and is made even later due to your incredible lack of communication skills and your telephone customer service which may be better served using carrier pigeon or hand-delivering messages. The cost of the rental was well over $100 more than anticipated. The cost of the fuel was well over $50 more than anticipated. Poor Brad at Woodstock had to get out of bed on a Sunday when he expected to have a day off to help us, and he’s still been waiting on a damn cargo van from you guys. Rest assured that we won’t be using UHaul ever again and a big sincere thanks to Brad at Woodstock Self Storage for trying to get the price down for us and for being so understanding. U-Haul, your customer service is absolutely awful and consider us and our families business gone.

This was a smaller drop off that was also a storage facility. It was Later in the day and no one was on site but I was able to talk to them by phone and dropped the trailer off. I called to confirm it was there. Everything worked out on the return end

The customer service center is complete chaos! I arrived to my location and my app wouldn’t allow me to pick up my truck bc my reservation wasn’t put together properly by the rep that arranged it. When I called, I was transferred SIX TIMES!!! Back and forth to the same people! Then was told to call back in 15mins?!?! I have worked in customer service my whole life, I’ve worked in a call center and have multiple jobs as a manager and the way in which the matter was handled was completely unacceptable. The entire ordeal took 30mins to figure out which caused me and everyone else helping me move a good deal of stress. Asking me if I would recommend the location is an irrelevant question bc it’s not the franchisees fault that your “customer service” center couldn’t seem to get there act together. I would NOT recommend Uhaul to anyone based on my first and last experience!

I had an excellent experience with this UHaul dealer. The rep was was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He knew the specs of each vehicle and was able to determine precisely what I would need with just a few thoughtful questions. He was also cognizant while explaining the contract and paperwork.. I appreciate that he took the time to answer all my questions, explained unfamiliar features, and ensured that I was comfortable and confident before I left. He certainly represents your company well and I hope he is appreciated as a valuable asset. I will definitely recommend this UHaul dealer in the future.
