Ronald GU-Haul allowed me to book a truck to pick up outside of the business hours of the host company. We had to wait an extra hour to pick up the truck because the business was not open.
Laurene SI was extremely disappointed with the corporate UHaul experience. I had booked a one-way rental from the Watertown, WI location 2 months in advance, further confirming it would be available 2 weeks prior to my needed day. On the morning of my departure to pick it up, I received a phone call saying it wasn't there, and the 26' truck I had reserved was 3 hours away from my original location. As I was leaving to pick up the truck at this new location, I received another phone call saying the truck was not at this location, and I needed to travel another 2 hours further away from my original location. I should have cancelled the whole process if I wasn't in dire need of the moving truck to move my 85 year old mother! Needless to say, I WON'T be using UHaul services in the future! However, the people at the Hayward location were very accommodating.

Dan STook 2 hours and several calls to get the authized for pick up of equipment. 2 more calls to get access to keys for truck. Returned equipment a day early and was charged for an extra day above reservation . Charged 3 day rental when only had vehicle 20 hours. What a scam you have running.

SCOT SThebleft passenger mirror wasn't very helpful. I tried adjusting it steady a dozen tines and still wad not getting a good view of traffic in the other lane. That is a safety issue.

Cathleen HI had to change my pick up date twice because Uhaul could not garuntee the date. Once notified by Uhaul the truck was confirmed for pickup I stoped at the dealer listed in the email they confirmed pickup. Than two hours later a different dealer called and said they were given the reservation and I had to pickup the truck at their location. Very confusing, and the truck was not cleaned on the inside. Sticky steering when floors and seats also. BLUF I should be compensated for this and the confusion. Michael Kelley 608-633-4169

Beverly KThe truck was dirty, had sand,dirt,grass,and some broken glass on the floor. I told the woman at pick up spot that she just had me sign a contract that said I must return the truck clean. Her reply was bring it back dirty I don't care. Also becuase of u-hauls mix up in getting the truck I was supposed to pay for a 15' truck but pick up a 20. She refused to look up what a fifteen foot truck costs and billed me for a 20 telling me they would take care of it at the other end. Steering wheel was sticky like someone spilled pop on it. Will never reccomend u-haul again.
GORDON PWhile the location we picked up was wonderful our original reservation through Trego, WI was a mess! They moved us to Hayward to pickup over 24 hours after we made the reservation and less then 12 hours before our pick up. We had to change pick up to that night in order to cover the extra milage in time for our schedule pick up appointment. Our rate changed for .69 to .99 per mile and when we went to pick up our reservation it would not allowing us to check in on the app and we had to change the reservation manually. Next time we will use another company in hopes of way less hassle, work and money.

Mark WDon't let customers haul farm animals in your trailers! Jesus Christ! I cleaned the trailer four times with bleach and still couldn't get the smell of cows hit out of the trailer. We used this trailer to take our sons belongings across country for a new job. We won't be using U-Haul again.
WILLIAM PI could not adjust the mirror tilt inside the frame which made traveling 4 hours a bit challenging. Regarding equipment knowledge, it would have been helpful to know whether this was possible or not.
angela mThe 6 x 12 trailer was the best trailer I have ever towed. Really an easy task to retrieve furniture and bring it to the Hayward Area. The firm we rented it from was excellent. "Janet" was a great representative for the U-Haul company!
Nancy BThe preregistration is not any good. When I went to pick up trailer had to spend another half going through the same thing I did on the phone the day before. Don't know where this lies either u-haul or people who rent trailer. Should not have to go through this stuff twice.

Ron BI called several days prior to get some information on renting a uhaul. Janet Mara was completely rude to me from the first second she answered the phone. I simply asked about sizes!!! I was uncertain if I even needed one! Then I decided to hold one. Again I've never been treated with so much disrespect! She acted like I was using up her time. In fact she yelled and said if I wasn't there in time she would not stay a minute late. So I reserved one and held on a credit card. The following day (1/11/19) at 501 pm I called with no answer an no voicemail was set up so I emailed and stated I decided I didn't need one. The following morning 1/12/19 I had heard from my son who was helping me and we decided between us and my other helpers that it would make sense that we could use the extra space of. Uhaul so I called Janet to again check if the truck would be available! Never in all of my life have I or those in the room with me as I had my phone on speaker-ever once ever been yelled at nor treated so unfairly and RUDE!!! She should not be working or representing Uhaul! As a paying customer…I do not feel I should have to pay for being treated like I was…she didn't know my situation!!! Janet came right out and said…I don't care about anything you say!!!! Who does that?? Janet Mara does

Carmen MSurprised by EZ fuel charge as I assured fuel was beyond what I needed to have in it and the charge for 9 extra miles...really 9 miles! I had to drive 30 minutes one way from my home to get truck and car hauler(drive by closer dealers on my way) and then 20 minutes one way to nearest drop off and I get charged for 9 miles. Its under $4 but its the customer impact statement it makes, won't stop me from renting again but just an FYI.
James CThe location in Hayward was closed - at 2 pm on a weekday, which seemed unusual. There was not a good place to leave a large rental truck. Also, an old address for U-Haul came up on Google maps, not the new one.

Darin RIt was a cold morning. It was the only trailer, in the size, I was interested in. The trailer was very rusted around the metal parts, but nothing to hinder its usefulness. The trailed had a broken wire that lit the left tail light. I fixed it. Also I was given 7 days, plus 2 at no cost when I picked up the trailer in San Diego, Ca., when traveling to Wisconsin. Traveling back to San Diego, from Wisconsin on the same trip, I was asked to called (877) 230-4427 to request the two extra days. They refused! It was very upsetting. As it turned out, I really needed the extra days as we hit a snow storm in Denver & was delayed the two days that we needed.
rodney pWe have a Christmas wreath business, and found it extremely stressful to find out that we might not have a 26ft. U-Haul truck, ready, at a convenient location. T's Automotive in Park Falls, Wisconsin did an amazing job of booking and making sure our trucks for the last 25 years.

Kathy CI picked up the trailer just before they closed on a Saturday. I needed a electric adapter, and they had non for sale. I went baught the adapter and came back to pick up the trailer. Of course they were closed and the trailer they assigned me had 2 flat tires out of 4. I pumped them up, and had to refill them every day, until they no longer would hold air for long. We called your service number, and the replaced the 2 tires within a couple of hours. They did a great job. I was back on the road. I nearly wore my emergency pump out, but all worked out in the end.
Gary SOnline, UHaul stated a pickup truck was available at this location. When we called to see if we could pick it up early, they said it wasn't available there and offered a box truck. Then they gave us a different size box truck than they offered when we arrived. I needed a pick up to pull a trailor, and ended up with a box truck that proved next to impossible to use.
Lucas GThe woman working did not know how to back the trailer into the spot she wanted it. And she wouldn't let us put it in the lot. Very frustrating.
Kathy CYou need to update your phone numbers on line and locations because a lot of them are incorrect and a lot of places are not in business anymore.

Lynell SMaking a major move on the weekend and not being able to find out if you have a truck until that Tuesday adds a stress on the people moving. There MUST be someway in this age of instant information to be able to tell a person sooner that they have the needed equipment
