Jennifer SThe truck had seen its better days, I was worried it wouldn't make it to my destination, the transmission was going, zero acceleration, I literally drove 50 miles and had to put 6.67 gallons of gas to fill it back up, the amount of weight I hauled was approx 600 lbs at 7 mpg, your company should of paid me for the emotional trauma of renting this wreck. Never again !

Ronald SClean up the vehicles, as the vehicle was dirty inside, the windows and rear view mirrors were dirty as well, you could not see out of them. The clerk was however very pleasant and helpful.
Sherry JVan was not swept out in passenger or cargo areas when we picked it up. We left it cleaner than we found it. Lock on lock box was very hard to open due to frosty weather. Needs cleaning & lube. UHaul.com site sucks. Froze my phone taking pictures. Had to use wife's phone to finish pick up. Took one hour. Could have done the photos at time of reservation on my PC. Taking nine photos at time of return is ridiculous. Obviously, the equipment is not checked out by staff before renting again.
William Mnot the location I requested and that caused excess miles costing me for overage. truck was ice covered and frozen without any means to remove ice from windscrteenand door windows. I used ID card on key. truck stunk when I turned on defrost bad and I stood outside till it started to clear a bit>

Eric LI will never deal with U-Haul again. I had a truck and had to call multiple times to get my 1 day free because the 3rd party U-Haul movers that came out were fraudulent! I paid for them in U-Haul and they wanted more cash from me. They wanted 300 more cash, then they walked off job and cancelled it. I was left with no movers and a U-Haul truck, with an abusive boyfriend not a good thing!! So I had to hire another company to move me thankfully they did and I returned the U-Haul and they charged me extra for things I didn't use so I had to call them to get refunded multiple times. They say 3-7 business days but it was longer than that when I needed the money for other movers!!!! Never again!! Horrible! Stayed on the phone on hold for over an hour to get a hold of moving company!!! Omg never again.
Bonnie KWhen I first got in the truck there was barely any gas in it. So we had to fill it up. The guy at the location said that uhal would reimburse us for the gas. I put 40$ in it on an empty tank. You jerks charged me an extra 18$ because I went 17 miles over? Yeah you suck, I was given a truck with no gas in it. Spent money on gas and you assholes charged me for 17 fucking miles? NEVER renting from you guys ever again. And then the people I dropped it off too were straight assholes too. Like now I sound like I have an attitude because I'm still in shock because of the service. THE PEOPLE AT THE GRATIOT LOCATION ARE RUDE Af!!

James DMy experience was very pleasant with the staff & customers service I just have a concern actually I am confused with the price tag or advertising?I saw your sign that advertised $ 19.95 rates I don't understand how this works or how apply it for me because I move some furniture from Chesterfield,Mi48047to Southfield,Mi 48033 average 70 miles & my bill was for $153 dollars. Shannon FLocation for pick-up was great. I reserved the truck from Algonac Center. I was notified via phone that I needed to pick-up in a different location and that I needed to return to somewhere in Saginaw (not Midland as planned). This ended up being MORE miles than I was allowed (3 additional miles - so not a big deal).

Olando HWhen I reserved it stated that my first 39 miles were included. I only drove 37 miles and was still charged $25 for the miles I drove. Wish they wouldn't false advertise
BRANDON MThe first truck they wanted to rent us was old and had a flat tire. The next was a new truck which should have been offered first since we were using it on a 800 mile trip, but is was dirty inside (found cigarette butts) and the underside was packed with mud.

Michael PThe front Right ("Passenger Tire") was worn on the inside "bad ball joint or tie rod" there were wires showing and it made me nervous" I mentioned it and they said "I'm fine" I tried calling U-hail customer service day on hold for 45 minutes to get someone that couldn't even understand me she wanted me to make an accident claim. Like are you serious right now? I hung up.

Phillip PTry to adhere to your own terms of service, that would be a great place to start. Maybe not 55 literally 55 minute hold times. Maybe reconsider charging 55$ for gas for 20$ of gas and maybe have them assess the tank in person vs lying about the gas level and defrauding paying customers. I spent 147 $in gas driving 300 miles of I 75, then another 55 charge. Do the math, it's abusive practice
