This review is not about the location, but for Uhaul, in general. Only rent from U-Haul if you don't care about your schedule. They double book in hopes that people will get the truck back before the 5 days are up, but if they don't, you're screwed. The only thing U-Haul didn't change in my reservation was the date. They changed the time, location, and what truck I got -- and all within 2 days of my move! I needed a 26' truck and they ended up giving me a 20' truck. Not great if you're moving out of state and had everything planned perfectly. I asked for 10:00 pickup, they changed it to 3:30. Not great if you've already scheduled movers to come in at noon. Because of U-Haul, I now have to make 2 trips out of state (16 hours one way), on my own, because U-Haul double books - and also buy a plane ticket to fly back up to get the rest AND pay for a second truck! And don't try to talk to their customer service about this because they do not care; I was hung up on. I will NEVER use U-Haul again and I will be sure to tell my friends/family this story while also posting my experience as much as possible. I even reserved a truck with another company for the second trip down because I will not give another cent to U-Haul. With so many other choices in moving trucks, I don't know why anyone would ever deal with a company like this.

U-Haul 1-800 gave me the run around on the dolly location. they sent me to a location that didn't even carry tow dollys. Then getting to another location I had wait for him to get back from picking his medication or lunch up.

After the trip I learned that The trucks intended use was for in town moves, it was not in good condition for highway or mountain pass driving. The truck is beat up and drives very rough. The scheduling personnel knew that I was driving it into the Mts. and yet allowed the rental and never mentioned the trucks limited and intended use. The worst drive I’ve ever had in a moving van, bouncing, rattling & shaking down the highway. I was grateful to have made the round trip without incidence, but I felt beat up. I don’t blame the Willow Creek folks.

I tried to pick up from a different location at first (Sensible Automotive). At this location, the truck I was supposed to get had no lock box or key anywhere. After an hour or so, I was transferred to Willow Run Feed and Supply. When I got to the truck, I was unable to open the back. It just received a fresh coat of paint which sealed the back. The trucks themselves were not ready for pick up which was frustrating when trying to keep a schedule and move. That is definitely an area that needs to be improved. On the bright side, each employee I talked to on the phone was understanding and helpful. They tried their best to resolve the situation in a timely manner.

The 26’ truck wasn’t available on the day we reserved it so we were given another truck and trailer but when we were loading it realized it wasn’t big enough so the movers exchanged the trailer for a bigger one (which cost us additional time and money and stress). Very disappointed!

I was charged for 4 gallons of gas an extra 16.00 when I put 30.00 in it right before I dropped it off. I left a message for someone to call me back. Haven’t heard from anyone yet. I picked it up at half a tank and returned it at half a tank. I actually put 20.00 in it the first time and then it wasn’t exactly at a 1/2 tank so I put another 10.00 in if you wanna get technical so I made sure it was perfect. Call me or email me if you wanna see my bank accounts for proof

The app is not very user friendly. We had to reload several times to check the truck back in. Checking the truck out took like 15 minutes which was a little long too for mobile check in.

The pick up process was infuriating. I went to retrieve the vehicle and attempted multiple times at retrieving my reservation when prompting me to provide my email address or phone number as log in credentials. Finally I had to call CS to get this issue resolved and was told I should put in my reservation number. That worked. Secondly, at this point it made me create an account for uhaul. When I booked the vehicle, I was asked if I wanted to check out as a guest and I did. I did not want to create an account with uhaul. If I was told I WOULD HAVE to create an account with uhaul I would have done it to save me time later. Thirdly, since I finally logged in and was able to begin retrieving my vehicle, I was asked to provide a secondary contact for identity verification. Again, why was this not asked prior to me booking the vehicle? It was a time waste. Lastly, because of all the delays in getting an account setup, providing a secondary contact and having issues logging in, I passed my pick up time by 15 minutes. They extended it for me but all in all I wasted 30 minutes of my day trying to pick up the vehicle. It seems like all of that could have been avoided prior to pick up if when creating the booking, there were more prompts and all the necessary information was requested at the point of booking.

The issue wasn’t with the van or the location, it was a customer service issue and lack of proper communication between customer and employee. I drove to Erie from Boulder to pick up a truck from which a location was sent to me, only to be told that there was no truck ready. I was spent multiple hours and wasted plenty of gas before obtaining a vehicle, and I missed the opportunity to move my belongings into the storage unit that night. I truck itself was great and the location was fine but the runaround was not.

Both the pickup and drop-off locations were very good. The owners were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed when calling U-Haul’s national line to set up the rental and to also arrange a pickup site. Most of the people I spoke with were less than friendly and I felt like I was imposing upon them. They were curt and could not get off the phone fast enough. When I called to schedule the pickup I was on the phone for 32 minutes, spoke to at least 4 people (1 of which was pleasant) and was transferred several times. The last transfer I was told I was going to be sent to Denver, but ended up with a rep in New Mexico. Again, the locations were great. National booking and service were not.

the staff was very helpful. The trailer itself was old and we were kind of worried that it might leak, but it didn't. I would call the phone number they give for the drop off locations prior to dropping equipment off. We went to a location that was given to us. This location said they didn't take trailers but were very accommodating and let use drop the trailer off instead of driving to a different location.

Friendly bunch of folks tucked away south of 120th Street just west of Sheridan. If you find the place, you will have an easier time renting as not many seek out the spot they are in.

First truck had a low tire that they couldn't fix (tried to give the to me like that). Switched trucks and it had tire monitor system issues with warning lights on the whole time. Office is ratty looking, employee seemed knowledgeable but the business is poorly run and run down. A very poor example of Uhaul, should not be allowed to operate.

Gentleman at drop off location was very kind and apologetic at the condition of the equipment we were given. When we informed him of the brake issue, he stated he would contact a mechanic to look at the trailer before putting anyone else at risk
