Only negative was the tires on trailer were not filled to the right air pressure, they were very accommodating though, just glad I checked tire pressures before I hauled vehicle

chris oI sat there for over 2 hours after my reservation start time in the app, on the website and with several live reps. Wait times were atrocious, when I got cut off I never received a call back and yeah this contactless pick up sucks.
Joshua KNo one at this location when I dropped off the truck..I dropped in keys before I took a Pic of mileage so went in Monday first thing...small town could've been more pleasant but was checking in the wrong truck when I arrived and was a little miffed my dolly's and blankets weren't in that truck...they were...in the truck I returned...he was looking at wrong truck and was kinda rude about it...funny mistake but a pleasant personality helps!!
CHERI SJust dropped the truck, location was a bit hard to find off the main road. Clerk at the store was not really any help at all. We just dropped the key and that was all.

DEBORAH BI have rented several uhaul equipment and always have to sweep them out before using. Customers should not have to do this, customers before should be charged and uhaul should be cleaning!

steve pprovide another way of picking up your truck besides using a smart phone. It took us 40 minutes to check in using my smart phone and the clerk at the store had no clue how to help us. I had to reach out to a friend who had rented a truck a week before and was able to help. not everybody is that proficient at using a smart phone. So I loved the truck but hated the check in.

david kThis is the second time in two years I used U-Haul or tried too.. The first time I reserved a 24' low deck truck. The day before my 200 Mile move you guys didn't have my truck.i had to use rider with their super tall decks, try putting a 700 pound safe on a tall truck,almost killed us. This time we rented from the wild rose location,great guy there. We had just left and got a call from the main U-Haul reservation, our trailer wouldn't be there. So we had to go 16 miles round trip to get that one,guess what they were closed,no phone call to let us know. Guess where we picked up at? Wild Rose WI the place we started at. So beware if reservations get involved. There not so good or organized. Not to sure yet if we would consider using U-Haul again.
John AHauls drop off location. Sent us to neighborhood I. Wild rose, thankfully we knew about this drop off and went there after trying to call. Bottom line for u-hail is people were helpful and understanding of my frustrations in pick up and drop off. But U-haiul needs to improve their online system-not impressed, outdated addresses, reservation being moved was understandable, lack of communication by u-haul not good.
Tara CTruck should be full of gas so I can bring it back full. Truck was at 3/8 tank. I brought it back 3/8 tank but still got charged for gas. Truck had 133,000 miles on it with a lot of play in the steering wheel. Can be dangerous for some drivers. Rental location was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this location.
dave uThe truck was adequately clean, but not as nice as others I have rented. The seat was almost impossible to adjust. The store employee was helpful and adjusted the seat for me, but I couldn't have done it myself again.

richard rI reserved my vehicle to be picked up in Appleton, WI, my pick up location was 45 miles away from Appleton. Very inconvenient. The location was dark and I self picked up at 9:00 PM and because I put I would be there at 6:00, it didn't work and I had to call and then go through the process of providing numbers for people to verify who I was which was never explained in the video...I will never use the self service pick up process again...took over an hour in the dark and cold. If you reserve something for a specific location you should not have to drive an extra 90 miles round trip to get it...horrible experience.
Brian PLimited cell phone service in this area. Can connect to a 4G tower but the system is overloaded and continually times out before loading pictures. It took 3 hours to get the truck checked out. One other customer was there and they gave up add left. Called customer service and had to wait almost an hour to talk to a representative. The pickup my truck box on the website was not activated and needed to be fixed at customer service.

Robert HI needed roadside assistance and when I called the number I was redirected to uhaul.com/help. The site was completely non usable, I could not get past the initial screen. I kept getting a Session has expired" error so I was unable to get any help. I had to call/pay for a tow truck. Very disappointed.

Robert WOperator called me and told me truck was in Wautoma, when I got email, found out it was in Wild Rose, ten miles farther north. Told ne I could not pick up till ten, when I got there, clerk told me that I could have picked up earlier, checked in on my phone, keys were waiting in box. After getting the truck, got email from main office telling me how to check in on my phone. Guy at Wild Rose was great, you guys at main office were terrible!

Kenneth MI have typically had good experiences with Uhaul in the past. However, that was not the case this time. The online process is not intuitive and doesn't work properly. My initial reservation / confirmation was switched...twice. Checking out the truck required my to call the 800 number and took over an hour (after being placed on hold and switched to different reps several times). It was a very frustrating process. Checkin went smoothly though.
Stephen WI could not get the uhaul website to recognize my location -not your fault. However, I did not see the key drop box until we luckily turned past it and our headlights shined on it-and we almost missed it! Maybe a small light by the box would help.
Nathan RThe trailer I rented had a defective left turn signal and brake light which was supposedly recently repaired, but it obviously wasn't. Fortunately it didn't create an issue during my rental.

Vicki MLet's review my over-all experience with U-Haul. U-Haul reservations suck there is no other word to use. People on line extremely helpful and courteous but the reservation process sucks. I had my truck canceled after I had a reservation a day before my move. They then found me a smaller truck that would not fit all our furniture. I was told we could pick up the truck only to arrive and there was no truck available again. My truck (smaller) would not be ready to the next afternoon. Moving is stressful enough but when it gets delayed due to faulty reservation system that makes the experience Suck even worse. I now have to rent another truck on another weekend to get all my stuff that my original reservation did not supply.

james hWhen someone goes online to reserve a piece of moving equipment, they expect the equipment to be available at the location requested (especially when the reservation is made less than 24 hours before pickup). I know full well that you have a broad disclaimer on the website explaining that you don't guarantee it. But when I looked up a trailer, it clearly showed some locations didn't have the trailer that we wanted, and some that did (supposedly, but apparently not). So, we drove for an hour. Un-acceptable. When I spoke to a woman on the phone prior to driving there, I complained and of course she would only quote the disclaimer from the website, I think it's a bad policy to get someones hopes up that one of the 2 good sized UHaul dealers in their town would have the reserved unit, knowing full well that you don't have it. If we had known, we would have made other arrangements. But by the time we found out, it was too late. This isn't the first time that this has happened to us, so I'm sure that you do this to many others too. Just because you get away with it doesn't make it right. Tell the truth. If you don't have the right equipment in the requested location, then tell us right then and let us decide if we want to reserve farther away or choose another size.

Denise II reserved a trailer a month in advance expecting it to be at the location in Plainfield wi. where I made the reservation. The day before I was to pick it up , I called to confirm and was told they did not have my trailer. They gave me a number to call. I called that number and was told my trailer was available at another location that was actually 15 miles further away. Nobody contacted me,if I had not called, I would not have known this. The new location was very nice but the way U-Haul handles this is not very consumer friendly.
