The lights on trailer worked but the lights on the car did not. They had no one to address it. When to 3 more uhaul dealers and none of them could address that my harness was bad. They all had signs they could put a new harness but the personal were not oblivious to the problem. It took me 2 days of going to your authorized dealers and nobody could help. It took me going to an RV company anf cost $1300 to get a harness. Very dissatified!!!!

I reserved an open 5x9 trailer to transport a golf cart about 1700 miles and got the reservation in email. They called the day before and told me that they didn’t have the trailer that they reassigned a different trailer a 4x8 enclosed trailer. I told them that it would not fit tall or wide. I went down there to talk with them and they told me if I wanted the trailer I reserved I would have to drive 75 miles each way to get the trailer I reserved. I told them I would not do that. Then I was told that they would give me a bigger enclosed trailer for between $150-$200 more I said no I didn’t make the mistake they did. So they gave me the bigger trailer for the same price. The golf cart had to be disassembled because it was too tall to fit in the trailer. I also probably spent an additional $500 in fuel because of the enclosed trailer wind resistance. I also didn’t appreciate that U haul the same day asked me when I was going to return the trailer because they have people waiting to rent the trailer I had. When I returned the trailer days earlier then I had to return it. I asked if they had people waiting he said no so U haul lied to me. This is a scam by U haul and I think is unethical and they should be fined for this practice and people that put this practice in should be fired. When you reserve anything you should get what they reserved. I would never ever trust them again to do what they said that they would. If that’s what you want to deal with then do what you want. I’m sure that this will be deleted and never make it anywhere. I haul will have to prove to me that they are a better company than they showed me this time.
john rThat place is a nightmare. A small old canopy and the lady was only using her phone. No hard copy of contract. Worse they charge me coverage (safe way insurance) that I remove twice during my booking. Find out yesterday about as I verify my credit card. The lady never verified license in fact there was none on the trailer ripped off. I found that I was 600 miles away. Lucky I was not pulled over to explain why. I want to be credited (70$) for the insurrance I never aggreed with.

Claudia VGoogle maps led me in the back way and the owner was moving some trucks around when I arrived; I wasn't sure there was anyone there. But then as I wandered around I found her climbing out of a truck and everything went very smoothly. I must say the Florida location was much more "rustic" than the Ann Arbor one, but both were professional and took care of the business at hand!
