Raphael B.We had to double book this trailer rental because we know about the Uhaul shuffle. The original booking was made in High Level Alberta two weeks before the move date. A Last minute booked and took the trailer the day before our date. Fortunately we were able to get this one. We had to drive it 8 hours empty to make the move. Always double book to Play the Uhaul shuffle…
Robert M.Overall the experience is great. The site has a gate to the left that clearly said "Uhaul Returns" and had arrows pointing to the gate. I pulled up to this gate, and the main gate opened instead. So I had to back up awkwardly and pull into the main gate. This site is completely gated off, and it is just not clear how you enter, or drop off the uhaul trailer. I have been here twice and same experience both times. Worker was great and very helpful, just confusing site.

Sasha S.My uhaul had no AC, turned off when coming to a full stop. Keys didn't operate in the door. I had to crawl through the passenger side to unlock the drivers door. And check engine light was on. No pre inspection was done by the worker.
Shan F.*INTEREST SCAM?* for debit card users!! Be warned that you may not get your deposit back the day of retuning. After being told at rental that my deposit would be returned to me when I returned the unit, we had to prove that it was the same card that the deposit was taken from by matching to the paperwork provided at rental (no big deal we were advised to keep paperwork on us but were then informed that they couldn't process the refund as their machine wouldn't “recognize the debit card as the one being used for initial rental†and that we now have to wait 5-7 weeks for a cheque to come in the mail - NOT HAPPY! The people that we dealt with at both locations were GREAT!! Uhauls system however IS NOT!!

Christina M.I had originally booked for Edson AB; and due to a death in my family had to bump my reservation by a week. Unfortunately, U-Haul was not able to bring the trailer to the Edson location for me; to make it convenient for the grieving customer. Instead; the morning of pick up; I had to drive an hour away to Whitecourt AB to pick up the trailer. That was not convenient; pleasant, or customer service.

Allen B.This was the only drop off in Whitecourt. Closed on Sundays, tried calling the number on the board on fence, no answer. Used the internet to submit pictures and drop off info. This didn't work well either, it took several attempts to complete.

ray P.The doors on the unit would not allow for certain items to fit even though they would fit once inside. The roof leaked. The old style crank ball lock backed off. 1982 model should be retired, I booked over a month ahead and not at that location, uhaul doesn't care if you book early, they won't hold anything for you.

Jason D.After a bad experience the weekend before with uhaul central booking, we were very very happy to the superior service we received at the Whitecourt location. The staff was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Unlike the people we dealt with at central booking, who were very rude and very very unprofessional. I'm happy to say the Whitecourt location was exceptional with their customer service!!! Thank-you Whitecourt!!!

Michel B.Make your safety chains with wider hooks on them to accommodate different style of hitches when I picked up the trailer the safety chain hooks wouldn't fit so i had to spread the hooks apart

I received a call the Friday before, that there were no units available in Grande Prairie, but I could pick up a unit in Whitecourt, 281km from Grande Prairie. I was told by the representative that called me, I would receive an extra day as well as free kilometers for the inconvenience.
