The website and app didn't work. I spent at least 1 hour trying to rent the vehicle. Another hour ans and a half trying to pick up the vehicle through the app, website and on the phone to pick up the vehicle. And then returning the vehicle didn't work online either so I had to call once again to turn in the vehicle. Don't say it's scan and go if it's not. Also much work needs to be done on the website and app so they will find the orders that have been placed. Overall a bad experience with UHaul. I will try another truck rental next time. The location I picked the truck up and returned it to was not open so I had no contact with them. I do not place the poor experience on them.

Was told by Columbia location where I had to go for large boxes that would buy back any unused boxes. But White House location would not buy back unused TV box because they do not carry boxes. How am I supposed to know that? No consistency in UHaul dealers and what as t is available. No dolly's available here either. Employee friendliness better but still u helpful when not given items needed by customers.

My rental was botched from the beginning. Somehow... each truck had its catalytic converter stolen from it (hard to believe), which prevented me from picking up my original truck. I then had to drive an hour to get the only apparent available truck in middle Tennessee - it just so happened to be the worst truck possible. The employee at the Melbourne, Florida location even told me that when I brought it to them. Negligence of service and lack of focus caused the Melbourne location to then charge me for an extra day after dropping it off. I was also charged for an appliance dolly that was never provided or put in the truck. They were out of pretty much all the equipment I needed for my trip (this is even after I reserved it and checked in). I mean... there's even more to this terrible service story, but that's all I care to type regardingthat part. For the amount of money one has to pay for this service, I can't believe everything went wrong that did. It was absurd. Try giving a damn about your customers.

Blinker didn't work, had to go get gas like I didn't have enough to get done and he pulled it around and gave it to us with engine light on.

Make the terms of returning equipment clear. The attendant of this particular location said that he would check the equipment in for me on Monday morning but when I took a closer look at the contract, there is a $20 convenience fee. I just rented a trailer in November 2020. I thought it was odd that I wouldn't check it in myself like I was instructed to do at the other location because of the time I would be returning the equipment the location would be closed. This made me look at the contract a little closer, so what sounded like to me just regular protocol now seemed like an attempt to charge me more money. Not saying that the attendant was being dishonest but it was never verbally presented to me there would be an additional charge for him checking the equipment in for me and that there was an option for me to check the equipment back in myself and there would be no additional charge. This location would not be recommended by me not because of poor service but because it's actually over an hour drive to reach from my city.
