You need to add jacks to your trailers. There is no way 1 person can hook up to these trailers. It's a joke. 2nd time I have rented a trailer with no jack and it will be the last.ALAN H.

Didn't like driving 30 miles to get trailer when there was a U-Haul 1/2 mile from my house but they had no trailers or trucks. Gave me a extra day but didn't need itted V.

The door latch has a worn flat spot on it making it very hard to pull up to raise the door. The door latch needs replaced ASAP.KURT O.
The lady at the counter was very friendly and very helpful The trailer I got was not designed very well. It wasnt even tall enough to stand up I. That was frustrating. Also the 55 mph speed limit on those things is the worst design for people trying to travel across the country. A 16 hour drive turned into a 20 hr drive because I had to go 55 in a 75mph road. I have rented UHAULS several times over the years but over 30 minutes to check out a trailer is ridiculous. The new system is a joke. Why do they need my DL on their phones? Then the lady wanted to argue with me over a one way trip and paying extra money when the gal I talked to Thursday to confirm told me I was picking up in one location and dropping in another location (14 miles apart). Then the card issue was ridiculous also, charging a $60 deposit because it is a debit card. Then she wanted to argue with me over how it was hooked up. I pull a 8*16 trailer everyday and know how it needs to be hooked to MY vehicle. You can only twist chains so much before when you turn they are too tight and break or tear up my vehicle or your trailer which I would have been charged for. I left my light adapter on my trailer at home all my fault, but then wants to tell me I may not be able to pull out because I don't have lights, which I do get but seriously. My truck lights are more than visible and you can see them its a 5*8 on a full size truck, I'm only going up the road. I know people need to learn at some point but these ladies need ALOT more training or you need to move it to another location with a company who has more computer/trailer skills. I will never go back to that location. I would rather drive 25 miles to another location to get a trailer. Gracias.Amy H.

The smaller truck was difficult to get into in the front as there were no running boards. Might be difficult for disabled or handicapped person to get in and out of front of vehicle. Some more handicapped might find back hard to get in and out of back. I have rhuematoid arthritis and I could do it, but it was difficult at times and I was sore the next day. Truck was clean and otherwise no problems at all.George M.

Original agreement was to pick up in Paris. Marshall location was easily accessible (although not accurate on GPS) but was not to our original contract. Truck was probably considered technically 'clean' but the interior could have been actually cleaned to make a better experience. Lucky I suppose for your company that often we aren't in them long enough to care. When the picture function was not working through the web site, on-line support was not helpful.Curtis W.

The people that rented us the Uhaul did not understand their system and they charged the wrong card and then it took 4 days to get the money switched back. Truck was fine, the people were friendly, they just had no business working with the new technology.Robert B.

I dropped off the vehicle Sunday afternoon and thought that the establishment was closed, so I dropped my keys and contract into the overnight box. about an hour later I received a phone call from a person who owns that establishment who was very distressed with me. She accused me that I had left the vehicle low on fuel according to contract and that there was damage to the vehicle. I told her there was no such thing, that I had left the correct amount of fuel. She double checked and saw that the fuel gauge was the correct level as stated in the contract and questioned me about its damage, but she didn't look at the tag in the middle of the brochure stating of this prior condition. I feel I had been falsely accused do to the reason they didn't thoroughly check the facts and so that is why I have given them low marks.randy H.

I had to drive an hour to get a trailer. I hate the fact that I HAVE to drive to where the nearest place for me to rent a trailer or truck is, no matter how far that is! I don't blame the women at the antique shop for this, because they don't make the decisions. Then there are women and not a man to help get the trailer attached to my truck. REALLY!!! When I made a reservation, I didn't realize any of this!! I was Not happy at all!!! Again, I don't blame the individuals involved at all. I believe the company needs to re-evaluate some of this. I realize that I was in an out of the way place so to speak, but better customer service needs to be everywhere!!Deborah B.

The truck died as soon as I got it home. Had to wait an hour on hold for road side assistance(that NEVER picked up) I then had to us the movers phone while still on hold with road side to call another location Bc the one I rented from could not help. I then called Terra Haute location which instantly patched me directly thru to road side assistance. I was told 45 min ETA. They did not arrive for nearly 2 hours. Mind you I was paying movers by the hour so I had to pay for 3 extra hours of the movers($200) for them to sit around and wait Bc we were not sure if we should start loading. When I asked uhaul what to do about this they said "it's your decision if you want to start or not we cant guarantee he will be able to fix the truck that day "! So once road side finally arrived n replaced the battery, The movers started loading. This ended up costing me an extra $250(which is how much I was expecting to pay total! So $500 it cost me vs $250!! I'm very disappointed and extremely upset. I was moving with a four year old n myself across the country n couldn't afford any extra expenses! I had to pay extra for the sitter to watch my child bc we had to wait an overall of 3 hours for road side to answer n come. So a day that should of cost us $250 turned into nearly $600!!!!amanda S.

While your agents are great, I cannot say the same for Corp. Uhaul. Over all, the entire experience was absolutely miserable. Becerything yhat corp touched turned to dung. Corp did nothing right: Didn't get the renting location right. Didn't get the equipment right. Didn't get the time of pickup right. Didn't get the location of the drop off site right. Next time I rent from Budget. Corp. Uhaul failed miserably. By the way. You better not charge me for the dollies, because none were availableMARTIN B.

First off i was not able to reserve our truck online due to technical issues. Then I had to drive more than a third of the way to where we were moving just to pick up the truck. I was not charged for the extra mileage to pick the truck up but it used a quarter of a tank to just get it to where we moved from (over $30 not including the gas for my personal vehicle to go get the truck). The service was poor to rude at pick up and over the phone. The truck had a power steering issue and the parking brake did not work - both of which became an issue. So I have spent over $450 between the truck rental and fuel for the truck just to move 135 miles. I went with uhaul even though it was more expensive for the security of the name. I will never. EVER. Do that again. Instead of feeling secure I feel taken advantage of. ALL of the stress of this move can be attributed to you, Uhaul. The only way I will ever rent a truck from Uhaul again (instead of budget or penske) is if you try to make this right. Otherwise I will never rent from you again and I will tell every one who asks how our move went that every difficult part of the move was related to uhaul. FYI I have only ever filled out surveys in a positive manner. I hate being negative and I hate complaining. That's how frustrated I have been by this service. Hope you have a nice day.DAVIDA R.
