I reserved a cargo trailer the day before but the computer system did not work to find my reservation at pickup. Also, I rent from uhaul quite often and the computer saves my gmc truck about 5 times in the list of tow vehicles when I have only 2 vehicles a Pontiac Vibe and a GMC truck. I wish the computer system could list all the available cargo trailers at uhauls in my vicinity. I did the live chat and the rep helped me find a trailer.

I did everything I could to expedite the process and when I arrived, I waited for 30 minutes to get the truck. It had to be checked in before I could take it. The young man was nice but the process was disappointing.

Terrible phone service, ie the men in the office are 1) impolite (literally: "whadya want?"). 2) I was quoted a price of .69cents per mile, and on the bill I was charged .79cents per mile. The office manager could care less if he gives good service.

I contacted them about the 10 doz pads a week before and also a day before pick up and they said everything was fine. Upon pick up they only had 3 doz, waited 3 1/2 hours for delivered pads. Trailer came off within 1/2 mile of store. After packing truck I didn't need trailer so returned the next day, no recognition from Steve for trailer or pads. They couldn't give me any paperwork on the returned trailer said I needed to work it out with UHaul.

Make sure your locations have proper training on how to explain charges and discrepancies. Uhaul website is horrible. Tried to return my rental online last night and it would not work. Had to go inside to the convenience store to return keys. No after hours drop box available

The rental and support experience with the reservation were well below my expectation. My rental was not ready to be picked up. The truck had un-requested furniture pads in it and the reserved dolly was not on location. The local associates told me to manage the issue on my own. After sitting on the phone for 20 minutes, I was told the rental guarantee did not apply in the situation and I would need to rent the dolly from another location. The associate also told me the dolly would be provided free of charge due to the error. After traveling out of my way to pick up the dolly, the new store would not honor the agreement, and I was charged a one-way rental in order to get the dolly. At this point I was charged both for a dolly I did not receive and a one-way rental on another. The phone support also told me I would need to work with the location to have the charge removed. On returning the vehicle, the App would not allow for an after hours return after another 20 minutes waiting on hold. I gave up and returned the truck in the morning. The individual Uhaul locations and phone support continually past blame at each other. Each time this happened it was my responsibility to communicate to the other channel. Uhaul representative should not leave it to the customer to manage where their employees/locations fail to provide for an order.

Even though they had 3 trucks that we requested, we were given a truck way bigger than we needed. They couldn’t find the keys, had to them jump start it, and the door didn’t shut completely. They also didn’t have the moving materials we requested. I will never use uhaul again. There are other places that rent well maintained vehicles for the same price.

The person at the desk was very rude and condescending. Person who helped attached trailer to car was great. Trailer was in good condition

Intake agent was very rude and not helpful, trailer was dirty and full of old leaves, furniture pads were covered with dried grass and weeds, my bumper was scratched when the trailer was hooked up. I drove off regardless as I didn't want to deal with the crabby agent.

Although I was happy with the local locations my overall experience with Uhaul was disappointing and frustrating. I thought it was ridiculous to have to drive more than an hour just to pick up a truck, especially since I was only informed of this 48 hours ahead of time. I also found the website to be practically non-usable. I was rarely able to accomplish anything on the website without an error occurring. Finally, when trying to reach Uhaul by phone, I had to wait for no less than 10 minutes before getting through to a representative. This is unacceptable for a customer-oriented company / service. I hope to not have to use Uhaul for my next move.

Auto transport too costly......was told $60.00 over the phone.....once it was on my truck and I was down the road.....I looked the paperwork over to find out I was charged $75.00. U-Haul has always been a great place to rent from.....but if i am going to be over charged for equipment years old.....I guess i will find another business.......my social security can no longer keep up with the high priced economy.

The interior of the truck was dirty and the windshield was not clean. That is something a U Haul service center should do at a minimum.

First I dropped the trailer at the recommended site, Waupaca Sport & Cycle on the 14th. The trailer sat for more than a day and was never checked back in to Uhaul for more than a day. After a lot of phonecalls to Uhaul trying to solve the problem, I had to pick it back up and take it to Waupaca Mobil, where it was finally checked in. This whole mess cost me a lot of time and gas, and was a real pain.

Both Uhaul guys were in a meeting at the time I set up to pick up the trailer, had to wait an additional 20 minutes to half an hour after my pick up time, setting my whole schedule off.

Equipment wasn't ready. Trailer was missing chains, straps were bad, ramp was broken. Both truck and trailer were buried in snow, even though they knew we were coming and were late.

12 inches of snow, covering an inch of ice on windshield and Windows. Not the type of truck reserved, horrible mileage. Took 25 minutes of work and running the engine and defroster before it could be driven.

When I scheduled the 20' truck it said the Amherst location had it. The next day they call and said they dont have it and I need to go to Waupaca. I get to Waupaca and they then said they dont have it but can upgrade me to the 26'. That was kind but the 20' was already more than enough. Please try to keep equipment and stock up to date in all of your locations.

I orderered a 15’ box truck. That means I want 15’ long by 8’ wide by 8’ tall! Instead the main compartment was 12’7” with a 2’5” granny space above the cab of the truck. This is false advertising and I’m not happy. The transmission was faultering in the vehicle and squealing. Not cool.

The exact opposite of the Colfax location. They would not get off their butt to do anything. I was so frustrated, I walked away from them and used my u-haul app to do a self check in. This location needs some training and perhaps new people with a better attitude like Justin.

Other then the 2 26ft. trucks were not their and I had to rent to 20ft.smaller units witch did not handle all my stuff and I now need to make another 300 mile trip . The Mobile station was Great I don't blame them at all.

I will never choose Uhaul again. I had a preferred location of Appleton Wisconsin and had to drive 45 minutes away to Waupaca to get the 15 foot truck I ordered. After getting to Waupaca they told us they had given away our truck even though I had called the Waupaca location the morning of pickup to confirm that the 15 foot truck was there and ready for pickup. This was an awful experience and I was very disappointed by the disorganization of the company

I should not have had to pick up in Waupaca. I was told by an Oshkosh employee the trailer would be there or Neenah. Waupaca was an hr and a half round trip to pick up.
