The lady working the storage unit where the uhaul's are being held is very rude and not helpful at all. She is incompetent and talks down to people. She also doesn't know how to give good instructions on when things should be returned and tries to charge your more when you're going off of the information she gave you. Even though I had mobile checke din I was still asked to go inside and she manually chnages my expected number ofmiles and contacts then the truck was disgustingly dirty, the dolly i reserved was not there and had to get a different appliance dolly which I could not use but still had to pay for, and on top of that during return had to manually inspect and provide pictures to her. The process overall was very poor, low quality, and lacked customer service. I could go on and am happy to provide photos. Just overall a huge letdown.SAMANTHA S.
The lady I dealt with today was very rude. I had to buy a gas gap for the truck because it didn't have one, when I tried to explain to her the situation she was not listening so I went ahead and left. 20 mins later she called and left a voicemail for me to â€œturn around and come backâ€ because I couldn't drive it without a gas cap. To avoid having to do that (since she should've have dealt with it while I was asking her about it) I told her I found the cap, but really I had to buy one. Then, while driving back to return the truck ( I was a stop light away) she called to ask when I was bringing it back. I still had over ten minutes left before my return time at 3. She said the â€œnext people were waiting for itâ€. I told her I would be back before my reservation ended and I hung up the phone. Overall she was just rude.Rebecca F.

Owner did not give me copy of signed contract. I took a picture of it. I was charged for fuel even though truck was returned with more than I left with. I took pictures of dash before which matched the contract. I took picture of dash upon return. Called owner to get fuel charges reversed and she assured me she "doesn't screw" her customers and would fix the over charge. The charge came though uncorrected. Will not rent from this UHAUL location again. Truck was not cleaned out. Equipment contract from previous renter was still on the dashboard . Very poor experience.Mark D.

I went to the office on Saturday morning 8/28/21 to make a van reservation for Monday 8/30 at 9:15 AM. I received an email (email address email@example.com) for Truck Reservation # 82943965 We had to have my father's furniture moved in by 10:30 to a nursing home on Monday 8/30. I arrived on Monday morning at 9:15 only to find the door to the U-Haul office locked. I called two phone numbers posted on the door and was told they were short staffed. I went to the location at 10000 Bluegrass Parkway in Louisville to see if I could get a van there. I was told they had no reservation for me in the system. The one representative stated to me in front of other customers that with U-Haul, just because you made a reservation doesn't mean that you will get your reservation. The gentleman, Ralph that was in the 1808 Watterson Trail location when I made my initial reservation on 8/28 was at the 10000 Bluegrass Parkway location that Monday morning. Ralph said that he would meet me back over at 1808 Watterson Trail to get me a van. He remembered me from that Saturday morning when I placed the reservation in his office. I was then able to get the van, but it was almost an hour after I was supposed to originally pick up the van. The van gas gauge was a little below full, but as I was almost an hour behind, I did not go back in to the office to tell Ralph about it. I returned the van with a completely full tank. I did inform Ralph that it had not been completely full when I left their office with it. Before I left the office after completing the return of the van, Ralph asked me not to give a bad review. I would not rent from U-Haul again based upon my experience.robert M.

I was not pleased that when we spoke to uhaul we.were quoted a price of 800.00 for a 12 ft truck, then when I called back to do it they sId they could only do almost 850.00 before taxes for a smaller truck and it was suppose to have a dolly which when we picked the truck up there was no dolly. They also told us to pick the truck at one location and when we got there it was closed and we had to call and found it we had to go to another location to pick it up. The truck ended up costing over 1000 dollars. This was totally criminal. I will never do business with uhaul if it was the only Truck rental company there was.SHAWN M.
The truck was dirty and smelled bad. I called to extend the truck, spoke to a man and told him I wouldn't be able to return it until a day after original return date. He said okay. The next day a lady called me and said she didn't know what I was talking about. A lot of miscommunication.TRISHA H.
the Watterson Trail wasn't my first choice. I reserved my church at the Fern Creek location on Bardstown Rd which is closer to my house and to where I needed to drive the truck. When I arrived to pick up my reserved truck (that I scheduled) there was no truck. I was very frustrated, but the gentleman at the location found me a truck at the Watterson Trail location (again) MILES from where I needed to take the truck. Needless to say, I picked up the truck, used and returned it. Also, the UHAUL location on Bardstown Road in Buechel is about one of the saddest UHAUL locations that I've been to. That location is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS understaffed and the wait time is always one to two hours. Well, that's about all. Have a blessed day.christina J.
The lady who was running the office was late, if the office opens up at 9, you should be there before then. She caused a major inconvenience to my move, and we got to a late start. It also didn't help that she was rude. I definitely will not use them again. I'll just bite the bullet and come to the bigger U-haul instead of using a small business.Danielle H.

I am being charged a cleaning fee due to the stupid drop off process. I turned the truck back in better condition than I received it. But in order to avoid a $20 fee I had to complete a survey. But I answered that the truck could use a cleaning before the next customer picks it up. Then they added a $25 cleaning fee. Which I immediately submitted that this was not because I made a mess, but that the tricky was dirty. Then 2 days later I got the receipt that still shows the $25. This needs to be fixed.Wesley F.

The person who â€œhelpedâ€ me wasn't customer friendly, kept telling that they are an independent contractor company and if I had a problem with the services, I needed to complain with uhaul, not with her. When I went to the original location of rental that was stated in my email, they told me that my rental was like 5 miles away. The company should be more diligent with communicating the correct location, I lost time moving just because I was never informed of the right place of pickup.Cesar C.

Scheduled a 15 footer for my move a month in advance to ensure that I would have the correct vehicle and closest pickup location. Was contacted roughly 14 hours before I was due to pick up the vehicle and told that their was only a 20 footer available and the new pickup location was an hour from my house (original location was 15 minutes away). This was a terrible experience and I will not recommend U-haul to any of my friends and I will not use your company ever again.Davis J.
After I booked online with a guarantee of the location having a truck, there was no truck available for me. I had to wait 20 minutes before I could be helped, and then it took an additional 20 minutes for them to tell me they didn't have the supplies I ordered and that I had to go to a different location to get a truck. After I went to the other location (making it over an hour after I was supposed to pick up my truck), they didn't have the supplies I requested either. HIGHLY do NOT recommend. I would suggest another nearby location rather than this one. That truck is in need of tires among other things. The interior was dirty when I got it, but it has over 155k on it. It should probably be retired. Anyway, I will probably go another route the next time.Shane R.
First, I'm not a Karen. I'm a regular 6ft 210 lb guy. Dadbod certified. The manager has a large unleashed aggressive dog on the premises. I had to dive back into my car to avoid being attacked. After the dog was called back and the owner assured me it was safe, the dog rushed me a second time as I exited my car.Troy B.

When I first went into this u haul rental office the owner asked if I had reservation I explained to him that I did not that my truck had broken down and I was pulling a u haul and needed a moving van he told me he couldn't not rent me a truck on his lot because he needed them for the next day so I left and called the UHaul number and was able to reserve the UHaul at the same place when I went back to it to pick up the rental the gentleman was very rude!!!Fred M.

The lady there is very hateful, she also checked the box that the van i was getting was full, it was not, it was below the full line. But i filled it up and they still charged me $4.88 for fuel sales, another charge that i was not told about was enviromental fee of $100. They owe me $5.88 and will refund it to me or I will go to someone that can help me get it back. Stay away from this place. Thanks, DebraDebra C.
The front desk people were very rude and short. This is my first time renting a Uhaul so I obviously don't know everything about it. Right when I walked in and said I had a reservation the older man at the desk asked me for my name, I gave him my first name. He then said someone else had rented the uhaul, it was under a different name. I said well I did online... Could it be under my last name? Gave him my last name. Seemed like he didn't wanna do his job. Didn't give me a total or really explain everything I needed to do. I realized on the way back he had given me the wrong receipt of someone else with their personal information on it. When I dropped it off, there was a lady at the desk this time. I said I was here to drop off a truck & she very rudely said â€œHold on a minuteâ€. Explained to her the man this morning gave me the wrong receipt. She didn't really care or try to make another one. I work in customer service so I was very disappointed to be treated like nothing I said was important or acknowledged.Dalis F.

The guy was rude I got to the place it was closed, I called the number on the sign. I told the guy I had a reservation at 3, I got there at 2, he said well it's not three yet. So I said okay I was told to be out here before 3, he then tells me it's going be a 15 min wait until he gets there. At 2:15 I calls him again I asked him do he think he'll be here by 2:30, he said he should be there in 5 more minutes. He then comes and he's rude he did not speak and he made me feel like I was wrong for being there early, awkward silence in the room, he didn't explain any fees or cost. I asked him the cost and he told me that there would be a hold on my card. Then he told me the amount of$94 and some change. Handed me the keys and that was it. I left the building and he comes out a few seconds later and tells me to examine the truck. The whole experience was weird. Bad customer service and poor communication skills I would never go back to this location nor refer anyone I know. There was no Dolley on the truck as well I got all the way home and found that out. I am female and I was expecting better expectations with this company knowing that this is a business no equipment was available for my use of expenses. Ordered a 10' truck, you asked if I could substitute a 15' at same cost. I needed to verify clearance of a 1 lane bridge and was concerned with height of 15' truck. I was told it required 10' clearance, when in fact it required 11'. My bridge was 10'9" clearance, which resulted in an alternate path to/from my destination 3 times. Other than that, I was pleased with my rental.David B.

The staff was very unfriendly and rude. When we arrived for our reservation the older woman and man never greeted us and spoke to us very condescending, as if there was no way we made a reservation and were in the wrong place. Also for no reason, the woman was glaring at my father who was standing off to the side while she was filing my paperwork. After I got the keys, I asked if I could leave my car there because I would be returning the truck in a couple hours and the woman acted like it was a big problem but then said it was okay. I don't know if they were racist or just don't see many 22 year old women renting trucks but for whatever reason they had a problem with us being there. Will not return to this location!Caitlyn C.

The whole MINIMUM 50 miles of gas hidden fee bullshit was pretty annoying, it's like a hidden fee. This has nothing to do with the individual Uhaul place, they were lovely, but as a whole, this should be included in the price, not as a surprise as you swipe your card.JORDAN H.
