Horrible pick up experience. Convenience store clerk kept passing us up to help other store customers. This caused us to have to get out uhaul over an hour late. We ended up Having to pay for an extra day because of this. When I called uhaul To complain I was treated rudely by the rep.Emily M.

The trailer we were to rent had a locked lock on it, which made it unavailable to rent at that moment. Had there not been another trailer the same size there (and there were only two actually there anyway) we would not have had the trailer we needed for our scheduled trip. The check-in process there had a glitch which could have caused a bigger problem than what actually occurred. So no big problem for us, but the next customer who was wanting the locked trailer was going to have an issue.constance B.

U-Hauled and wanted to change the pickup location and day, I said that would not work and that I wanted to pickup earlier on the scheduled day, three instead of five. The U-Haul rep said ok. Didn't happen, equipment was not available until five. The location played dumb.George S.

I don' drove an hour to pick up my truck and car trailer on a 100 degree day. The only reason I found the place is because my gps told me to go there and I still passed it several times looking for it because there was no sign saying where the actual UHAUL office was but it was inside of a fried chicken/convenience store that only has 1 cardboard UHAUL sign in the window so if a car is parked in front of that sign you won't see anything that says UHAUL. So I was getting my UHAUL contract while people are also buying energy drinks next to me. The worker did not seem familiar at all with the trucks or products. She took us out to get the truck and guided us to attach the car trailer ourselves but didn't stay for us to load the car on so we just hoped we did that right, even though the website assured we would get safety inspections with the car trailer. After the stress of doing that we started our hour drive back home so we could pack up for the drive. We were covered in sweat from the heat and outside effort so when we got in the truck we didn't realize the AC was blasting hot air on us. We started our drive and noticed but as we were running late already we just tried to give it a chance and terrible shoot it. We get all the way home and feel like we're about to pass out from heat stroke but I think It's ok because I live up the street from a UHAUL and they should be able to help me. I spent an hour on the phone just to be told my options are to drive back to Washington or to call road side service. I can't take a cross country drive in summer with a truck with no ac. I had to drive the busted truck again back to WA but they found a spot that was 40 minutes instead of an hour drive and i had to exchange it. Now my packing day is set back almost 4 hours because of UHAUL. Absolutely no help or service nothing offered to me as an inconvenience for my time or stress when I'm dealing with another other stuff for this move. Then I get to philadelphia and drop the truck off after hours and a woman called me and said it was supposed to go to another location (it wasn't. I dropped it off correctly) then when I called her back she seemed so confused and it was no issue. THEN THEY CHARGED ME $26 for gas when I returned it at the half fill line. THEN I went to my UHAUL storage facility in Cinnaminson BECAUSE I GET A FREE MONTH OF STORAGE NOW, the guy couldn't find my reservation that I made an confirmed, then he magically found me, then he Charged me my first month that was supposed to be free and just went oh I forgot. So hopefully I don't move soon and need my 2nd month free. THEN I got a call from this facility saying my lock was missing from my unit 10 days after move in. So I'm stuck at work sick over thinking my unit was broken into and calling around trying to find a family member to go check on it for me and I call back and the guy says â€œoh no, there'sa lock on it but It's the wrong lock â€œ not only do I feel sick over this, the guy never told me I need a specific lock and don't know why I'm called almost 2 weeks later to find out it's wrong. With every experience I've had with UHAUL during this move, with all the money I spent on all of this. I really wish I just sold or donated all of my belongings and start fresh again. This was one of the worst decisions I've ever made in my life and I just have to live with my almost 8 grand mistake.Jacqueline D.

Frustrating that I wasnt allowed to drop it at another location which cost me more in gas to go all the way back to washougal from downtown vancouver.Juan H.
Convenient location for those of us in Washougal. Good selection of rentals. The salesperson was friendly and efficient, a pleasure to work with. The convenience store that hosts u-haul, on the other hand, really needs a better ventilation system. It smelled horribly of chicken grease and was really unpleasant to be inside.Jessica R.

Trailer was really dirty, full of blankets. Not a huge issue. I was coming in after closing time on my return day. They charged me for another full day even though I said I'd be in at 7:00am. I've Done it in the past. Is what it is.Jason B.
I would have LOVED to be told my CASH deposit wouldn't be returned at the Washougal store as they â€œdon't deal with cashâ€ then I was asked to hook the car dolly back up and take it to a location that does deal with cash. I said no and now I will be waiting on a check in the mail. Not how I wanted to end my day yesterday. Also they need better signs to direct you to a weird side road that leads to a back lot.Talina H.

Have the truck ready at the time it is reserved for. I had the truck reserved for 8am and ended up not getting it until 4pm this caused hardships because of arraignment for help loading the truck.Neva M.

I pulled the truck up the U-Haul parking and the associate came bounding out to help me drop off the truck. But it would be nice if the gentleman had a U-Haul vest cause it felt like I was giving the keys to a random man.Brent K.

This was the best U-Haul experience we've had! The guy working at Washougal Food Center was so kind and helpful to bring the truck up from where it was parked. The truck only had 28K miles, not 120K+ like every other U-Haul we've rented. We already booked our next U-Haul from this same location based on how great our expertise was.Michelle H.

One tire on the car hauler had a leak in it. The trailer was filthy. One of the ratchets did not work properly. Not a happy customer at all.Evan P.
The first time I went here, the owner sold me a bigger van than what I wanted to make a little extra money. This time they made me clean out the back area even though I didn't touch the back, so after charging me 150 for a few hours and not much driving, they made me clean their van for free after. I have rented a uhaul from several different locations and this was my first time utilizing this location. My experience with this location was awful. I will rent a truck from a different company next time as I will never subject myself to this location again.NICOLE H.
The UHaul app didn't work when I returned the vehicle. I tried five times to use the UHaul app to send an image of the dashboard. It failed each time. Eventually the UHaul app didn't even recognize that I was sitting in the return parking lot. I had to ask the cashier to process the return manually. Then the records appear to indicate that the fuel tank was empty when I got it (it was actually full) and full when I returned it (which it was). The cashier wasn't able to generate a receipt in the 45 minutes that I wasted trying to return it manually (after 15 minutes trying to return it via the UHaul app)Russell B.

It's also a grocery store, and even though you arrive first, the grocery buyers get priority, so you stand and wait whenever a new customer comes up to buy. Also the units are always parked tightly together so it's hard to get them out without hitting something.Debbie B.
