There was no one to make sure the trailer was properly hitched, we were repeatedly given verbally over the phone the wrong side of town. South side and North side are two totally different directions and the person on the phone should know the address. The trailer wasn’t properly connected and fell in the road and my husband had to pick the heavy thing up by himself. The person who was supposed to hitch it turned around and left him to do it by himself. He could have been killed in an accident. The trailer was a screeching nightmare, hard to turn around. Horrible experience

Took awhile to get my rental. I was first customer of the day and the printer was not on and computer not up and going. They did not realize my pickup had been moved to their location. Otherwise, they were very helpful.

Service to pickup was unprofessional and took too long regardless of online efforts to eliminate wait times. There were multiple needing assistance and one woman with two inch nails typing at turtle speed. Absolutely lacking in proper business services.

Two times were listed on confirmation email which was a little confusing. The business hours of the place stated they opened at 10 AM but the confirmation details had pickup at 8:30 as requested. The lady was there at 8:30 and everything went smoothly.

The van was not clean. The floor was dirty, there was a water bottle filled with urine, a random car tag, receipts and smelled like cigarettes. The vehicle operated fine.

I called and set up a day and time to pick up a truck. On the phone she said a highland ave location but when I got the email confirmation it said it was off of greensprings. I assumed it just changed and went to the address I got the confirmation to. Upon arrival, I was told that I was supposed to go to highland ave. So I drive all the way there, and mind you not one person has told me the pick up involves going inside a shell gas station, so I passed it multiple times because gps says I’ve arrived and all I see is a gas station and no signs of U-Haul. Once I finally go in, they say no truck was dropped off and I need to call some other number to figure it out. When I finally get ahold of someone she says they have no more trucks in my preferred size available and only the next size up which was ‘only 5 or 6 dollars more’. I find it outrageous that even after making and confirming a pick up it wasn’t available and someone wanted to charge me EXTRA for a truck I didn’t want in the first place. I honestly should’ve fought for a hefty discount because after a complete mixup with no truck from the confirmation, three different pick up locations, and me being an hour late to my destination, I would say that I will not recommend this service nor do I intend to use it again in the future.

PERSONNEL WAS RUDE AND DEMEANING, HE HUNG UP ON ME AFTER I EXPRESSED THAT I HAD SOMEONE ELSE PICKING UP THE UHAUL, HE SAID THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE WHEN I CONFIRMED THAT I COULD.

Lot looks like it has nails everywhere and the customer service is poor. I had done all the check-in items before arriving and when I got there I was told I wasn't checked in. Then on top of that, they charged me for insurance even though I had declined it. Asked salesperson about it and they said "it's just $8".

Truck was not aligned.Truck drove as if it was in a wreck. We put $6.00 of gas in tank and was told we went 58 miles. We did not drive but 28-30 miles total and were overcharged. We paid, but will not ever be back to this UHaul location.

The female rental agent was courteous polite and extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me in every aspect of my rental. She guided me and answered all my questions regarding the Rental process and return.

Great staff. I wanted to pick the truck up at 7:30 am. My preferred pick up choice allowed this. I was changed to this location and couldn’t pick up the truck until 8:30 am. An hour is a big time difference when moving to another state.

The whole process was great and easy. The only issue was when I confirmed the rental, I confirmed it as being picked up in Gardendale, Al. Two hours before I was supposed to pick up the trailer; I received a message that it was ready at another location. Way further from where I requested to pick up. We managed and life goes on. Overall though, good experience!

Very hot office located at a car wash. The lady was nice but the computer kept wanting to charge more than was quoted. She had to send the information to her leader to get resolved.

This is about the reservation not the dealers. I asked for an open trailer when I got there it was an enclosed on. I had to go to 3 different places to get what I wanted in 94+ degree temps and the a/c in all of them was either non-existent or not working

my scheduled drop off location was being used by a nearby church. Acme muffler needs to have listed somewhere that do not drop off on Sunday morning

I reserved at another location which was more convenient. I received a confirmation text with the new address but I paid no attention to the address. I feel you should include in bold that that the location has changed; I paid no attention to the actual address and just assumed that I was confirming for the address I requested.I arrived at the other location for nothing and it took a while before I confirmed what happened. The truck was fine; the confusion and longer distance was not.

Terrible experience. Uhaul recommended a truck that was too small, I had to leave a bedroom set, desk, antique chair, family China, pictures, and patio furniture Changes location for pickup and time after I confirmed 2 times.

the cab of the truck smelled like an ash tray. I do not smoke and really hated having to smell this stench for over 2 hours. Another thing, there was a truck within 5 miles of my home that was still sitting there when I left this morning that was not available. It was a 10 foot truck like I wanted. I had to drive 40 miles to get the truck I got and then when I got to my destination I had to drive another 30 miles to turn the truck in. It seems to me this is just a scam by your company to get more miles on the trucks.Overall I will not be using your service again.

YOUR WEBSITE WAS DOWN SATURDAY COULD NOT CHECK IN WITHOUT CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE THE PICK UP LOCATIONS COMPUTER WAS OLD AS THE HILLS AND THE MEMORY WAS FULL AND COULD NOT GO ONLINE. THANKS TO THE FIRST MAN THAT WAS IN LINE HAD HIS ON PERSONAL COMPUTER THAT'S WHEN WE FIGURED YOUR WEB SITE WAS DOWN. TOOK ME AN HOUR TO GET MY TRUCK.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful, although the pickup arrangements were not clear to me. I arrived at 3:35 for a 3:30 reservation. The key had been placed in a combination lockbox. The staff person indicated that I had selected that as an option and/or that is what happens when you pick up after your reservation time. I assumed I couldn’t pick up early. If I did select that as an option, I didn’t intend to. The website was a little confusing. She helped me get the key and check in quickly with no prob. Just a little confusion.

Customer Service is terrible. The person handling the contract when I arrived was distracted and constantly answering the phone, even though I was being waited on. There was a young child asleep in the office and the office was in terrible repair.
