Brian SAt the 10:00 am pick-up time, the fuel tank was empty due to pilferage the night prior. Location should have checked for fuel prior to my arrival. Due to the fuel tank problem, the "walk-through" was never done and when I went to load the truck, I found lots of dried mud adhering to the aluminum floor. My sweeping it with the only broom I had available did little to remove the mud. The floor in front of the driver's seat was also muddy. After I spent six hours loading the truck and started down the road, the check-engine-light came on. I called Uhaul road side assistance and was told to proceed. When I got to my destination, after driving through multiple rain showers, I found that there was a water leak in the area immediately over the truck's cab and the leak got some of my cargo wet.
Mark BPerson who connected trailer was very competent and friendly.
Clifton SClerk was kind and nice. But They did not have my furniture pads. Trailer was parked in a muddy area. Trailer door strap broken. Trailer Door was difficult to open and use.
Jonathan SThe gas tank had been patched 6 times and was leaking fuel. They did not include the moving blankets I paid for, either.
Catrina GThe location owner, Staci Hawthorne, and her staff were dealing with a (non-U-Haul related) stressful issue the morning I picked up my U-Haul -YET- they were incredibly personable, kind, and attentive. Staci personally carefully checked out the rental with me which went a long way in giving me confidence in the truck for my 400+ solo drive across the high desert. Cherie AThey were nice. But had lots of problems with the computer. It took so long I didn't take the time to double check the mileage and gas. When I stopped the truck off it was clear that they had been wrong. There is no way I went an extra 50 miles but had to pay for it. And it cost $150 to almost fill a tank that should have been over half full. The main driver I wanted listed was not listed on my receipt even though we spent so much extra time adding him on... at least I thought we did! No way to prove because I didn't take time to double check. But if the truck would have been clean and ready, and if it had taken less than 30 minutes to get checked in (not to mention the dolly I reserved was not available) I would have had time to doubke check those things.

MICHAEL MThe lady that helped me was more focused on taking her daughters phone call, talking to her husband, helping another customer with her home improvement order than helping me. She took 30 minutes to get my order ready and then left for another appointment before finishing mine.
JACOB SCharge the right amount for the time used. I had this rental I needed for one day. The representative told me it for some reason charged for 2 days, but said if I brought it in the next morning, that I would not be charged for the 2nd day. I dropped it off the next morning very early so I only used this vehicle 1 day, and yet I was still charged for 2 days!

Dennis FI will never deal with U-Haul again..I was told the truck and trailer I wanted to rent would be ready at 2pm. when I got there, the truck was there but I had to drive 45 miles one way to go pick up the car carrier..delays that cost me to lose the car I had driven 190 to get. then I had to get permission to drop off the vehicle at a different location as I could no longer use it..was a disaster from start to finish and I didn't even get any type of refund for what was clearly U-Hauls mistake that sent me 90 miles out of my way..will tell all my friends not to bother..not worth the hassle..

Beth LThe address on my reservation email was actually the wrong location. Very odd. So had to drive a mile or two down to a different location. Not a big deal. Everyone at both locations were very nice. Truck was great - very easy to drive. It would've been helpful if the truck came with a dolly.

ken SI received two emails trying to make me check in online as soon as I arrived at the location to pick up. It wanted pictures of myself and my drivers license etc. That was a pain in the ass and unnecessary as the humans behind the counter were more than willing to do their job.

anthony pThe vehicle rented got just over half of the fuel economy promised (4 of 7.1). The truck was very under powered, even when empty. The suspension had issues - needed an alignment or wheel balancing. Bounced horribly for 6 states - even broke the TV. The radio only had one working speaker.
Robert FOur reservation was for one pick-up location (Mike's RV), but he did not show it in his computer. I asked him to call the other location in town for me, but he would not, and instead, made me go to find it. This added stress to my moving day, and i felt he should have been more helpful.

PAMELA JDon't put old trucks out on a cross the country road trip. I've been using UHaul for over 50 years. This was the worst truck I've ever gotten.
PAMELA JThe office its-self was fine. Staff was disorganized and unfamiliar with U-haul rental system and process. Maybe someone else normally handles the process? Trailer was dirty inside but that was solved by sweeping it out. Both tires were below the recommended cold 65PSI. One had a gash in the side over an inch long and deep enough to see the cords, both were weather checked and showing signs of dry rot. Typical experience for me when using a Franchise location that is side income for another primary business. Likely not required to maintain equipment or they assign no staff to maintain it. Lights, safety equipment and ball-coupler were all in working order however. Better off using the retail Uhaul store just down Washburn Ave.

patricia bI went to pick up my uhaul early because they called me and told me they had it ready for me. I get there and the young lady (very nice) cant get the computer for u haul to work, right away. The owner takes over after 45 min. we are outside checking the trucks lights and brakes. I hop in to go and notice the oil light is on. I go back in to ask and the owner calls uhaul down the street where she picked it up. people began to come in about 6 of em. the owner is overwhelmed with the phone call and the ppl on the end of the line asked if I or the owner can add oil ourselves. She said she could not, I said I paid a lot for this truck and I will not. So another 29 minutes on the phone and I was sent to the u haul down the street. I was greeted by a young girl telling me she was new and did not know how long it would take to service this truck. I left it there for another 20 minutes, mean while I had workers on the clock waiting to be able to load this truck. when I came back there were two girls, one was name amy, I asked for the manager (they were smoking cigs, like they were hanging out instead of working) Amy said there was no manager at this time. I asked the other girl about adjusting my mirrors and she said "They are manual and you have to adjust them yourself." refuse to help me. I left. Im going to call the 800 number and complaine now. There are more things that were wrong, but I dont feel like writting a book. I am going to just report this experience over the phone, I type too slow for this. Laurie Gonzalez Klamath falls Oregon

william mI had to get a 20' truck when I just wanted a 15'. it was a pain to drive. I dont think it was any fault of the location and the people that worked there, just UHAUL's policies in general i think. it was all extremely inconvinient.
DANIT HThis facility was extremely helpful and very courteous. We did visit the other u haul facility on Washburn Way because we thought that was the rental store we had called. They were rude beyond measure. I would and am recommending this rental facility to my friends and family. Thank you so much for a great experience.
Ryan WIn colder climates the trailer hitch area should be off the ground so they don't/won't have to chip it out like they had to mine.
