Brandy Herbertthe equipment was clean but the a/c wasn’t working so we were dying of the heat, and loading things, carrying up and down stairs… we get in the truck and it’s an oven! We BADLY needed an oasis! We were literally borderline heat stroked… The a/c doesn’t even blow, at all! we called and they said to roll the windows down! that was it! thanks a lot! we knew that! but what will you do about it‽ apparently nothing. I asked twice more after that and got little response. this was serious!
Bryan FurseNobody was freaking there!! I showed up at 1pm (I was on time!) and attempted to do the online checkin. I was never given a key box number or code. I tried to go inside and the door was locked! No sign on the door other than the stated hours of 6am-11pm. Again, it’s 1pm and not a sole is around. I call u-haul not once, not twice, but FIVE times. Every time I am told there is an area rep that is approx 5 minutes away. I waited and hour and was lied to numerous times. Seriously, is “the rep is 5 minutes away” your standard BS line??? I shouldn’t have to pay a penny for this screw up or yours!!!!! Not only was I screwed out of my originally rsvp truck that was reserved 4 weeks prior, I had to get 2 trucks, pay a one way fee, and pay miles. What a JOKE! U-Haul should be ashamed!!! I was a business owner myself for nearly 20 years and would have been mortified if a single customer of mine was treated the way I was treated………nonsense!!!!!

Bradley CrabtreeJust dropped the Uhaul off and was charged for an extra day, still waiting for someone to contact me. The whole experience was painful from start to finish. From incorrect information to having my account charged an extra $100 dollars after Patty gave me 2 extra days. The only thing positive I can even dig up to say is that all of the people I spoke with were friendly. This was my first and last time using Uhaul.

My "out of the box" issue did not throw her at all (since the vehicle I wanted was not available, I was told I would get a larger one but at the same rate as the smaller one). Checkout and checkin were fast and easy ... actually a pleasant experience!

Mark or Diana LeeUpon returning the truck and trailer the woman said “ugh why couldn’t you come tomorrow?” because she didn’t know how to park the trailer. She asked me to back the truck and trailer into a parking spot, which I’ve never been asked in the 5 times I’ve rented Uhauls. I picked them up connected and intended to return them connected. I attempted it once and knew I couldn’t back it into a spot without damaging another car. A gentleman nearby backed it up upon her request (which is against my uHaul contract as I was the only registered driver so if he had hit something it would have gone against my contract?) Then the woman asked if I would disconnect the trailer from the truck which, again, I was not shown and I picked up the equipment connected and intended on returning them connected to avoid any issues. Very weird return experience and she clearly wasn’t trained on how to receive these trailers.

Cary ChaneyThe hours of operation on the window and your website were arbitrary, as I went there on 2 consecutive days during listed working hours and nobody was there. The lady showed at 10 am, instead of the 8 am on your website and 7 am on the window. My car was poorly secured to the trailer, my front bumper ripped off when dismounting my car from the trailer. I have to take the vehicle to a bodyshop for repairs and additional expenses.

I reserved my truck for 8am on Saturday and the reservation was changed w/o my knowledge to 4pm and then it was still late. I would prefer receiving some compensation for the immense inconvenience I had to endure.
John MeixnerStaff member was very rude, told me he was “unable to help and the best he could give me was a phone number.” When I called the number, the customer service said he could have corrected the issue in “2 seconds.” The when I went back in I asked if it was okay to drop off the trailer and he just replied “Give me the equipment number.” Just very rude overall.

Casey KingI was charged and paid for a utility dolly that was unavailable when I arrived. I was told I would be refunded, but never received any notice of such. The online check-in was a difficult process, leading me to lose 30 minutes of rental time. I was never provided a combination to access the key myself, instead I had to request the key from a maintenance person inside the building. It was not convenient at all to check in and go.
