I am extremely disappointed with my overall UHAULl rental experience! A reservation was made a month prior to pick up date & it took over 5 hrs and traveling to a different location to pick up my rental truck! This delayed my move, I lost movers due to time set back picking up rental from UHAUL! Truck smelled like smoke and overall experience with UHAUL was horrible!Alarice F.
I had my pickup time scheduled for 8 am but the gate was locked. I had no way of getting the UHaul out, and had to wait until the owner arrived to actually get the truck. The owner was not very helpful either. I was supposed to have a furniture dolly and utility as well. Both of these items were missing. Overall, this experience makes me want to choose another company to work with should I have to move in the future.Kathryn A.
if you can avoid the pick up/drop off after hours on the app avoid it. I will from this point forward just deal with going and dealing with a person face to face. the process is so much faster and easier just to rent the truck during normal business hours. and I was charged 33.00 for gas and used less than 10 miles the whole 24 hr period. the location was just fine.jimmy P.

Still use an actual counter as opposed to an extremely glitchy app. It took us 45 minutes in freezing rain to get confirmation, & didn't add in $50 in tax or mysteriously raise the cost of SafeMove from $42 to $85 until almost the very end of the transaction. I had to call customer service (was on hold 15-20 minutes) to split the cost between 2 cards. Really shitty.Wesley M.

For anyone trying to rent truck by phone , unless you download the U-Haul app and go threw the process after downloaded and account set up ,, you will not be able to complete the process and just wasting your time. Wasn't able to get truck at my first location that I had reserved because it was blocked in. So had to start all over and go to different location. After all of that and 3 hrs waisted, it was real simple and very pleased with being able to get the truck rented, picked up and dropped off ,, all from my phone. After hours.Pamela M.

I don't appreciate for being charged falsely! I drove only 35 miles. I was told to drop it off at certain place and this person will take care of sign in for drop off. I ended up charged for 2 days...it cost me over a hundred buck...just for no insurance, 1 dolly for appliance, .79 per miles and rate of $19.99 rental (there is NONE SAYING HOW MANY MILES LIMITED). ITS LOCAL MOVING. ITS SUPPOSE TO BE AROUND TOTAL $64 BUCKS BUT ITS OVER 101.00 BUCKS. THATS FALSE! I DEMAND FOR REFUND AND IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET. I WILL REPORT IT TO B.B.B. IF THE ISSUE NOT SOLVED.teresa M.
The 4 other locations closest to where I live would not allow me to pick up or drop off so I had to drive an extra 40+ miles just to do that. Which I was charged for. The address for the location was wrong and I had to go to another place once I got ahold of the business owner.Erik P.
