Natalijie D.I was charged for a hand truck I did not use because i moved it since it was in my way in the back of the truck, extra $40, I was also charged an extra 20 miles because they would not bring a truck to the location near my house. I rent from haul all the time {usually trailers} but i will be looking elsewhere from now on.

I did get a discount due to an error on their end. I request for a 10ft truck and my reservation was entered for a cargo van.
dasiy B.Employee preformed the required inspection of the car trailer focusing on the turn signals and brakes. He omitted the fact the rear marker lights were not operational. Unfortunately I didn't take note to this until I began towing my vehicle in the dead of night. In addition the employee had informed me that rear side marker lights which were missing was previously reported when if fact they weren't because they were present in the inspection pictures forwarded to me by UHAUL.

Greg K.Generally ok experience except that only one person knew how to handle the uhaul returns and he took his time- maybe 20 mins to show up from the “back†and when he was done checking the truck, he didn't even tell us and dropped the receipt off to someone working in the front of the store. We were hanging around for 15 extra minutes where we met him and he didn't bother showing up to let us know we were done.

Thomas B.My original reservation for 2:30 PM in Sparta was changed to 8:00 AM in an email I received at 8:16 AM and then when I did not pick up the truck before 9:00 it was cancelled. I was only able to get a truck because the tech in Sparta worked to make it right. Wadeson was fine (4.5 star) but I have nowhere else to include this information.
Christopher D.I have never left a review before good bad or otherwise but this was the Worst experience ever. Was told I would pick up both truck and trailer from the same location 5 mins from where I lived. That did not happen. I had to pick up the truck 30 mins from the location I was told and then later the trailer an hour from where I was originally promised. I apparently signed an authorization im still confused about and was never made aware of. And then I was charged an extra 25 dollars for the trailer. And to top it all off I was charged an extra day when i dropped the equipment of at the designated date time and location. All in all worst customer service and experience and i will never use Uhaul again if I can avoid it.

Laura G.Make sure gas tank is full at pick up so it's easier to fill tank before returning truck. My truck had 3/4 tank when I picked it up . It was hard to fill to that exact amount before returning.

Michael R.Sending the pictures via e-mail didn't work for me. I prefer checking the vehicle in person as in the past? Some things work better low tech, in my opinion. In my case, no harm was done by my not being able to access the pictures since the vehicle was new with no dings. However, if a question arose, it could have been a problem.

Tangela C.Insurance coverage which is not needed if your own auto insurance covers rentals should not be automatically applied to the invoice. The Uhaul dealer should ask the customer if they want to add this coverage or not. This is the way is always used to be ( I have rented from Uhaul over 20 times over the years). However this time it was on the invoice and when I asked the dealer/cashier to remove it they stated it would be involved and take time to do it over. As we were running behind schedule I decided to leave it and pay the extra $ 14 for insurance which was not needed in my case. This is not a good way to do business... Uhaul should go back to asking the customer if they want it applied before adding to the invoice. Or they should have a easy and quick way to remove it and make sure the cashier/dealer explains this charge to the customer.. In my case it was not even mentioned until I questioned it.!!
