This location is over charging customer with mileage. I drove a uhaul truck for only 10 miles had it for 1 day 10am pick up Saturday and drop off Sunday 10am, was charged for 31 miles at a charge of $1.19 total $36.86 when my husband went back and talk to them they said they had to go what's on the odometer. Which I don't understand how a 5 mile trip each way can total to $36.86 31 miles. Please do not rent a truck from this company it's clear that they are over charge and don't care that they are.TAMARA D.

CLEAN. UP. THE. LOCATION! Walking in, the place looked overdue for an inspection. Walking in the thick smoky air coated my longs and I had a whole mask on. The first man we encountered at the computer was not in any hurry to help us with anything so we waited for another gentleman. The other gentleman was very nice, attentive, and tried to make sure we had everything we needed. The moving pads were gross and itchy, and retrieved from some bin. These pandemic days, I would certainly expect more hygienic standards, especially since the staff did not wear masks either.Shardae O.

So the place itself is a wonderful bit of Americana, nice atmosphere, newspapers lining the walls, pungent smell of cigarette smoke. The merchant took some money off my rental because he didn't think it should've been that much and also was perfectly nice getting things set up. My only annoyance is when examining the rental agreement when I went to drop my truck off was the handwritten note on the back of the agreement I had signed stating the customer acknowledged a patched repair of the roof and that I accepted that risk â€" he didn't mention it, I didn't know there was a back to the paper I signed. Also it's hard to plan to return a rental at 5/16s a tank.Justin K.

Stop charging for mileage. Had Lowe's or Home Depot had trucks. I would've rented from them. They charge $20 for 75 minutes and $5 for each additional 15 minutes. They do not charge for mine leave. But they do require that you fill the tank back up.DIMITRA C.

Location is dirty, disorganized and smells like thick cigarette smoke. Windshield wipers on truck were terribly broken and I was stuck driving on I95 in a torrential downpour with no wipers. Overall a harrowing experience.RACHEL H.

I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. The truck we rented was rented to someone else. Was put into a smaller truck the same night but could not pick the truck up after hours like we had set up. Finally was able to get the truck for the next day call to ask if we can return it on Sunday since we were not able to get it on Friday like we have scheduled. We were told it could take 3 to 5 business days to get that request resolved. We still need the truck returned it Sunday because we were not able to rent the truck Friday like we had reserved. And take it back on Saturday we had to pick it up Saturday return it on Sunday And were charged another $128 for an additional day because yall messed up.Philip L.
When I arrived to pick up the trailer that I reserved, the employee asked me for my â€œlight capâ€. I told him I didn't know what that was, and he told me he was sorry but he could not rent the trailer without a light cap. He advised that I go to another UHaul center in my city for the missing item. I went to the other location, purchased an adapter to connect the trailer lights to the light system on my vehicle. When I returned for the trailer, another employee told the gentleman that sent me away that they sold the adapter at their location. I spent at least 20 extra minutes and fuel driving around my city for a piece of equipment that was at the initial location all the time, with barely an apology for the miscommunication.ROGER M.

Your mobile app sucks. It is ridiculously clunky sometimes and made returning the vehicle a nightmare. It gave me instructions to drop the keys in the Dropbox, then after I checked back later asked me to take pictures of the odometer, parking, etc. Thank God I did it beforehand on my own initiative. I don't like that I got a call at 5:00 on the day before I was suppose to pick truck up that they changed my pickup location. They added 150 miles but that wasn't beneficial to me. I had a great experience. They looked like they might need to add another staff person during busy times and/or upgrade their printers. There was one person helping people and he was great! But, I saw a lot of other people come right after me and all at the same time.Tyler P.

Stop pushing the use of mobile app check in. The app works poorly, is way slower than checking in with people at the location, makes you wait an arbitrary amount of time for "approval", and ties the hands of the people working there so they can't help you once you've started on the app. This location was awesome but the mobile app experience makes me never want to use uhaul again.Max M.
