I would highly recommend this location I stopped in the day before my move and told the gentleman that I needed a truck for the next day. It was ready to go for me when I return the next day and and the truck was all clean and ready to go

Scott WoldWhen booking the Uhaul, I originally scheduled the pickup of the vehicle for Bemidji, MN. The company changed the pickup to Walker, MN which was an inconvenience for me. Also, when I scheduled it I originally scheduled drop off for Grand Forks, but changed that to Hillsboro with the same agent on the phone. When I picked up the Uhaul, I reminded them that I would be dropping off in Hillsboro. They said that was no problem. When I arrived in Hillsboro, as called the 1-800 number to find the drop of address and was told I must return it to Grand Forks, another 30 miles out of my way.

aaron isaacsLets be clear. Scott is the man. I wasn't sure if I had wasted my money at the other U-Haul Walker location (7981 Townhall Rd NW) because the reservation and no contact pick up method got jacked up with tech difficulties and they are not open on the weekends. Luckily, this location (8525 MN 371) is open on Saturday. I walked in and told Scott what was up and he fixed everything, got me a truck, and I didn't need to spend any more $$$. The dude just transferred my reservation like a boss. Thanks to him I got everything I needed done and was able to move in into my new place.
Peter HattenbergThe Gentleman that runs this U Haul Operation was very Professional and understood when I called and informed him I'd be two hours late picking up the car hauler. However, what I did not enjoy was some Gal from Corporate calling me on my private Cell Phone 3 minutes after I had called the local U Haul dealer basically hassling me as to a why I hadn't picked up the trailer yet, and if I was going to pick up the unit. That to me was very annoying and unprofessional. Of course when I told her I'd just gotten off the phone with the local dealer. She quickly changed her tune. I believe I've conversed with her before. She must be the corporate watchdog for the entire upper Midwest because the last office I was working with was in Fargo and ya, this gal left a bad taste in my mouth that time as well. Especially last Fall when I was working of Fargo. She needs to cool her heels or better yet, she should not be calling the customer at all. She should be calling the various locations, not the customers. I suppose the average customer probably wouldn't know if it was a local person who actually worked at the location or some corporate neusance who probably gets a Hundred every time she can move a piece of rental ⁴equipment by cutting in on a locations customer base. Its like Boom, the second the customer is like 20 minutes late with a pick up, this money hungry corporate raider Is out pressuring the local owners customer base just to make a buck and hassling us to make it happen. Not Cool. At any rate, that's my opinion.

Mark FlahertyThe car transport had seen better days. Real ruff looking. When I got the trailer home and loaded my car the right front tire strap had been cut off but about a foot and would not work. Had to call the rental place and your district man came to my home and replaced the strap. All people involved were helpful and nice. But the equipment had seen better days.

Larry EisingerThis should not reflect on where I picked up the trailer but to everyone before here. First off my rental was not where I requested it. I had to drive 50 miles (100 miles total) out of my way to get the trailer. I was then sent to the wrong address to pick up. When I called u-haul the person who answered was rude and acted like I was annoying him. Then when I get to the location found out the person who helped me book on the web site booked a trailer smaller than the one I wanted. I was already on a tight budget then had to find an additional $100 to rent the trailer. The guy who was working was very nice and it was not his fault the wrong one was booked. But I guess that’s how you make money. I had no choice in the matter but to rent with u haul. I will never rent from you all again nor will I recommend U-Haul to anybody. I’d like to thank uhaul for taking the additional hundred dollars. Nothing like being a single mom and having to shell out an additional hundred dollars to move.
